A couple of months ago, a retired park ranger named Walter Higgins claimed he found a video camera in the woods near Willow Creek that had footage of some young people being attacked. Higgins disappeared for a while, but now he's back-- and this time he claims that the Lionsgate Production company stole his footage. Instead of waiting for the production company to release their film, Higgins preemptively released this "attack" footage in retaliation.
I'm wondering this: Is this the start of the attack or is it cut? If he needed the video decoded. who did he get a copy? Why did they have a video camera rolling? If I was being attacked I wouldn't grab my video camera.
If it was an HD camcorder, take out the hard disk and hook upto a computer, if it was MiniDV use another camcorder, SD card run a repair on it etc. etc.
Also, how does he know Lionsgate have it? What film are they making? How does he know this if the person sold it to them under the counter?
The promo "viral" vids of Higgins speaking are so poorly produced and unconvincing. He's been coached too far on his delivery of such poorly written material. Okay and even angrier this time and... Action...
Nice try, Stephon Stewart. We know your "Anthropology thesis" was b.s. More lame viral advertising attempts will not change the fact that you lied to the locals to make "Sisikiyou County," now aka "Bigfoot County." This little piece of Blair Witch silliness is kinda fun, though.
Coming out via Lionsgate, a major "indie" distributor. It should go direct to DVD, with no chance in hell to make it to Sundance. Out soon, judging by the viral promotion.
Yes, they interviewed me, and lied to everyone out here about what they were really doing. No one would have talked to them had they known they were making a B or C-grade horror film. They even lied to old Al Hodgson, and tried to score with the daughter in a witness account investigation. They were supposedly run out of town up in Happy Camp.
I really liked Blair Witch. But Bigfoot is real, so this is Blair Witch without the mystery. The accounts of real Bigfoot attacks are more bone-chilling to me than anything. Like those Russian students found dead in Siberia.
They died in an avalanche you turd. Anyone who isn't a UFO nut knows that their deaths were never even considered slightly mysterious by anyone intelligent.
What avalanche can remove a tongue or leave behind a note that the snow man legend is true? Here, let me help you with your understanding of intelligence. Apply electrode-shock pads on your temples and run them on the high setting for a week. See? Your are just as smart after the procedure as before.
Park rangers never acted like this that I remember. They are usually soft spoken, polite, resourceful , smiley, and always willing to help and educate . This one is scary . Like having a scary clown at a circus with fangs! I'm going to hide under my covers tonight!
Walter Higgins website whois search puts the address as the same address associated with a company called Avatar Labs who do website design and such - including "viral" marketing. Lionsgate just happens to be one of their clients. Weak.
I was impressed by the clothes budget that these actors wore into the boondocks, without a bit of dirt on them. Apparently they also sleep with those expensive clothes and shoes on. I thought it impressive how they were all able to exit the tent, simultaneously. But that is just the miracle of editing. Since we did not see the gal, she must have been holding the camera, (or a cameraman) otherwise she would have to had quite a pair to not only find the camera, turn it on, wait 5 seconds, be calm enough to film the chaos, exit the tent simultaneously with the others, and then keep up with the two men while holding the camera down close the the ground to get a director approved view of the "escape scene".
You actually make it appear really easy together with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually one thing which I feel I would never understand. It kind of feels too complex and extremely vast for me. I'm looking ahead in your subsequent put up, I will attempt to get the cling of it!
Kittalia A. sent us the following questions about Patty, the Bigfoot in the Patterson-Gimlin film. They are all very good questions that we we wish we knew the answers to. We're no "Henry May" and it's times like this that we wish we had his number. Since we don't have Henry around whenever we need him, here are some easy questions for all you Patterson-Gimlin believers to try and answer:
Thanks to Matt Moneymaker for sharing this story with us from a guy named Thomas S. who was camping with some friends near the French Meadows Reservoir in August 2012. This remote, forested basin is located on the American River approximately 58 miles east of Auburn in the Sierra Nevada's. Before his encounter, the man thought Bigfoot "was just for entertainment purposes", but he changed his tune when he ended up with messy drawers that night. "That will teach to goof on our show," says Matt.
Uh Oh. Here we go again, folks. M.K. Davis originally brought up this theory called the "Bluff Creek massacre" theory back in 2008 at a conference. The controversial theory was immediately rejected by the Bigfoot community and Davis was shunned from ever speaking about it again. According to Davis, based on his expert film analysis and color enhancements of frame 352 of the PG film, he theorizes that the Patterson party had been to the Bluff Creek site at least once before returning to capture their famous Bigfoot video. His theory also suggests that the party probably murdered a family of Bigfoots and buried their bodies. Davis points to an enhanced anomaly resembling a bloody dog print and a pool of blood as proof of his theory.
Did Bigfoot do the filming?

Why did they have a video camera rolling? If I was being attacked I wouldn't grab my video camera.
Simple, as this is Bigfoot, it's just more BS!

It does look like viral marketing. I shall await the torrent though :)

ReplyDeleteObviously nothing but an attempt to draw more attention to the movie that it was designed to promote anyway.
ReplyDeleteThey're really doing a bang-up job with that, too. 58 views already!
DeleteLionsgate did the same thing to me with my Dogman footage.

DeleteHe would make a good "actor" in the WWE. That whole rant was so phony. Pure comedy.
ReplyDeleteYes, its acting. Not that convincing either. It's viral markting or someone just having a bit of fun.
ReplyDeleteAND....... WHERE WAS THE BIGFOOT IN ALL THIS?
ReplyDeleteMy, My. They are SOOOOOO....camera shy.
This shit is so fake and gay that if you gall for it then you're a queer moron.
