Possible Sasquatch Hand Found In Northern B.C. Canada

OMG! This guy named Peter Hrychiw found this hand during a bike trip in Northern B.C. Canada back in July 2012. It was discovered near an unpaved road named LIG T.T. Trans.

Thanks to Carson Hopper for the tip.

  1. looks like a decomposed paw from a raccoon, similar mesocarnivore, or a juvenile larger carnivore on first glance...

    1. If that's a raccoon paw, it's the biggest damn raccoon ever. Don't be an idiot.

    2. Have you ever seen a 40+ lb raccoon? I have... that doesn't mean I'm an idiot - I was just calling out what I saw as a reasonable possibility and that doesn't make me an idiot :)

    3. Well, no I have never seen a raccoon that big. Biggest they get around here is 15-20 lbs. So I apologize for my own ignorance. That said, it just doesn't look like a 'coon paw to me.

    4. A similar hand was found in 2006, DNA tests were done and results were not human or any know species...

  2. Finally proof that Sasquatch exists. This is a historic day.

    2. Why would anyone laugh at eliminating other species? It is very obvious that it is neither raccoon or bear..

  4. Perfect example demonstrated at :31 mark of how footers apply scientific method.

    "That's gotta be a Sasquatch."

    LMFAO!!!

    1. As a footer yourself, what science did you apply to it ?

    2. Get over it farm boy. Its not a Squatch. The point was, you can't take morons like the ones in this video seriorus, period. No science was used at all before leaping and assuming that: this JUST HAS TO BE A SQUATCH.

They're a joke and the truth is: a lot of footers work exactly the same way.

    3. Get over it douche. I know it's not a Squatch. My point was a footer like you obviously steeped in footerness trying top seperate yourself from your own footerness.

  5. Even before he got it tested or anything else, he calls it a sasquatch hand. LOL. Even in the video title.

  6. Why do you assume everybody is a footer? What an idiot anon 1:12! Do you have some inside info about these guys? Otherwise shut your pie hole! Lots of believers and non-believers post stuff. Quit making assumptions!

  8. Wasn't there an article on this site by Dr. Meldrum a few weeks ago about paw misidentification? There was a picture of a hand that looked as if it could be a sasquatch hand. It looked much like this photo, and it included a caption underneath it with something like, "Can you guess what animal this is."

    What animal was that?

    2. Yes. It looks just like the "sasqutach hand" in this July article from this site:

  14. This is such bullshit Shawn. Why do you post stuff like this?

  15. DNA it then perhaps people can stop guessing anyways it looks as if it would make a pretty good back scratcher attached to a stick.

  16. It's the same type of decomposed beaver leg pointed out by Dr. Meldrum in the article a few weeks go on this blog. Case closed.

  18. Well you all bring up a good point. It does look like the dried-up bear paw. (The beaver paw still had webbed feet) No way in HELL that is a raccoon. And 40lbs Raccoon???? riiight. I think sasquatch will be found long before one of these 40 pounder raccoons would lol. I have has pet raccons when I was a kid. And though they have little hands, they are small in comparison to their frames. If this was a raccoon, it would have to be well over 100lbs. Even a 40lbs child does not have hands that big.

But it makes me wonder how many actual sasquatch body-parts may have actually been found, and then quickly dismissed as bear parts by seasoned hunters.

As for the comment that this is why footers are laughed at?, for one, how the hell would you know weather or not these guys know their regional wildlife? And did you read the caption?

"OMG! This guy named Peter Hrychiw found this hand during a bike trip in Northern B.C. Canada back in July 2012. It was discovered near an unpaved road named LIG T.T. Trans."

These seem to be average people who stumbled on to something resembling a human hand covered in fur out in the woods. That would most likely be anyones first guess.

  20. Apparently this bigfoot was a thief or he dishonored the bigfoot mafia family......

  21. This hand makes my skin crawl. It is severed cleanly. There is no fur on it. The hairy looking stuff is tendons shredded up. It is not very big in size. I It has carpe bones so that means it has decent range of motion. I think this is a human hand, probably female. There are many reports of people going missing in BC. It has even been a topic on this site. I have seen many bear paws, skinned enough fur bearers like beavers and raccoons to carpet a house. This does not look quite right to me. Oh, as for 40lb raccoons, they do exist. I saw a guy sitting on top of his car one night in a parking lot. He was spinning in slow arcs like he was watching something. Wondering what the hell he was doing I drove towards him. As I got closer I saw a dog come around the front of the car. I looked closer and realized it was not a dog, it was a giant raccoon. That sucker was the biggest damn raccoon I have ever seen. The back of it was higher than the car's bumper. It had to weigh an easy 50lbs. It was bigger than my border collie. The parking lot had a Taco Hell in it, so my guess is that sucker must have been eating Chihuahuas. Anyway, I doubt even this big raccoon would have a hand that looked this one.
