New Footage: Happy Camp Bigfoot Photo

The photo above was purportedly taken near the town of Happy Camp, CA. It's located in the canyons of the Klamath Mountains-- along the Klamath River. It is the home territory of a Native American tribe called the Karuk Ar. Happy Camp is also home to many reported sightings of the "Hairy Man".

We get these sorts of photographs all the time in our email, but most are merely blobsquatches . Sometimes we get one that's really interesting, like this one-- mainly because it's unlike any other photos we have seen before. If you look at the image above, the legs seems a lot shorter than the typical description of Sasquatch. The arms and coned head are proportionally the right length, but the legs, man-- something isn't right about it. The photograph also looks a little instagram-ish (filtered).

Here's what Wolf M. wrote:

Here's a photo my friend posted on her FB account. I don't know anything about the photo but it was taken near Happy Camp, CA. I have been studying BF since I was a kid as a hobby, I'm a musician by trade. I'm still a little skeptical about the whole thing but thought you'd enjoy this shot!? I can try to find out more about the photo and get back to you...apparently, this was the "best" shot he got, so there must be other pictures. I will see what I can find out?

    2. Them short kecks with their little vertical dark stripe and zoot suit to match make me think this's an illustration from some sort of kids book that'll be called something like The Snatch That Couldn't Scratch or The Minge That Couldn't Cringe.

    5. Not saying it's real, but I just love how the cynics first cry out for more pictures and always go on about why there aren't any good ones, well now you know because (saying a sec it's real) that old cameras laways sucked and people suck even worse at using them. Especially in a situation like a Sasquatch encounter it'd be heart racing pandemonium.

  4. This Bigfoot looks like he got caught doing the moon walk.

  5. To me the blurriness could cause the legs to look shorter. IMO where the waist appears to be, makes the legs look proportionate. The arm look good too, and I really like the bend in the knees. Also, I think I see a breast poking out above the arm too.

With all that said, I feel like I have seen this picture before.................

  6. I thank you for posting this picture. I think that it could be real, but whatever it may be, real or not, I like it!

  7. Is bigfoot wearing pants in this photo?

the pants could quite possibly a gift/gifting from a habituator.

    Very interesting.

  8. Remember the Sasquatch suit that was used in the 2008 Georgia freezer hoax? Well, the above is exactly what that suit looks like with a person in it. Long arm extensions, a towering head extension, and short little normal-human legs.

    1. Only problem with that nobody knew about the suit until later.

    2. Actually human legs are long so telling fakes is easy.

The legs are longer and more slim on the picture of the Happy Camp Bigfoot.

No wonder people laugh at me for believing in the possible existence of sasquatch/bigfoot!

    3. Me neither. Too many people trying to prove bf 's existance. The possibility of its existance is facinating theres no doubt there, but dang! the pic is fake.

    1. Bigfoots have shorter legs than we do they're bigger of course and longer bones but as far as species build we're the opposite of each other.

  17. Shawn, I hate to say this, but this blog does more to hurt the case for Bigfoot than a hundred skeptics could ever hope to achieve.

  18. It's a poor fake. Looks like the animation from Finding Bigfoot shown when witnesses are describing their encounters.

  22. Apparently the purveyors of this web site do not understand the definitions of footage and photo. A picture is "New Footage"?!? No, it's a new photo or picture. And "The Clearest Photo Of Bigfoot Since Patterson-Gimlin Released By Melissa Hovey? PG is not a photo; it's footage. Can you please use such basic terms correctly?

  24. To me the legs are what the most legit thing about this pic - not the least! We've seen this odd thing before with them - with Marble Mountain, an identical look to the legs and walk in a video RL posted on his blog in the spring of last year, FB/FB has brought out the subtlety of in other vids. It's part of an inline walk. Their hips are different from ours. As to the leg dimensions, even in Patty/Gim it's clear her upper legs are longer than humans proportionally and lower legs shorter proportionally too. My guess it's to help them run with more finesse on all 4s.

  26. O.k., morons who believe this is real, take two seconds and look at those toothpick ankles.

LMFAO. Dear lord, Sasquatch has ankles as tiny as Manute Bol's.

  27. A word of caution. Men never under any circumstances burrito hole a chick who has eaten a ghost chili pepper. I did and ended up in the hospital in excruciating pain. The nurses laughed at me and were very unsympathetic.

  28. Regardless of who has an interest in this field be it monetary or true science (lol) it is all bullshit.

And that’s what pisses these people off when their line off crap is not bought. Bart, Smega, Hovey, and fuck the list goes on and on and on……………..

Bring in a body or SHUT THE FUCK UP………………………PERIOD as there are NO Bigfoot experts.

    3. I wouldn't have stated it that way, but a good point is made: How can anyone claim to be an "expert" in a field with so little truly hard evidence? To listen to some of these researchers (like Moneymaker, etc) you would think they had spent lots of quality time studying actual specimens with some of the behavioral pronouncements they make.

  34. The important question is, according to FB/FB, how many points does it confirm on??

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ya gotta admit though, it does have a really big foot and really long arms.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The legs look short because it is standing down on a lower level than it first appears. You cannot see the very base of the tree either because of the rock, it might be a few inches from the ground. The shadows being cast make it look odd. It might have been rubbing its back against the tree. On the other hand, it could shopped.

  37. All of the nay say'rs appear to be experts on everything and that's how it's been with the Patterson-Gimlin film as well. I'm sure their type also believed the world was flat back in the day, and were part of the group that put to death those who believed the world was round. The photo could be legitimate...humans come in all shapes and sizes including leg length. Some have very long legs and some have very short legs. Why can't the sasquatch have the same?
