What is the best piece of evidence Matt Moneymaker has ever seen?

Matt Moneymaker, president of the BFRO and star of the Finding Bigfoot show on Animal Planet was recently asked the following question on Twitter:

what is the best piece of evidence uve ever seen for a bigfoot?

Matt replied: "A bigfoot itself, standing roughly 15 feet from me, growled at me until I got up and left."

Back in January, Matt was asked this same question on CBS with John Miller where he gave a brief description of his "close range" sighting in 1994 in the woods of Eastern Ohio. Matt claims that the Bigfoot creature was standing just 15 feet away, growling at him and trying to get him to leave the area. Although criticized for telling such a vague experience, Matt is convinced that what stood only a few feet away was indeed a Sasquatch. According to an interview with National Geographic from a few years ago, this is exactly what happened that morning in Eastern Ohio:

"It was 2 o'clock in the morning and the moon was a quarter full," recalled Moneymaker.

"Suddenly, there he was, an eight-foot-tall creature, standing 15 feet away, growling at me. He wanted to let me know I was in the wrong place."

Matt's shared this same encounter in 2010 on a BFRO forum post:

I became pretty obsessive about the subject after that, but it was another eight years before I had a close encounter with a sasquatch. That happened in eastern Ohio. I was in Ohio attending law school during the week and talking to witnesses on the weekends. Not long after that encounter in 1994 I got online and made contact with several bigfooters whom I had corresponded with while I was still in LA.

  3. Okay. for the sake of argument let's say all this nonsense is real: what happens when an actual Bigfoot is discovered? Science will take the reigns from you idiots because you have no business studying anything other than the menu at Hardy's. Seriously, will you feel betrayed; left behind by your precious hairy man in the forest? What will you do when scientists intervene and tell you to move your fat ass out of the way? Will you tell them, "I was here first?" Ha ha ha! Think about it.

    1. Spot-on why Monkeyfaker and the rest are so protective, secretive. etc. Like the vatican, you dont have to have evidence or power just convince the mindless, zombie minions you do....this concept easily demonstrated on this board daily!

Are you one of the credulous JREF cocksuckers that believe the PG suit has been found by some lying bastard who also pretended to be stalked, that Parnassus is a crime fighting Doctor, Saskeptic is a wildlife biologist, ecologist, PHD, and college professor who also has the time to post about Bigfoot all day and every day, etc, etc.

Are you getting my point here clown ? The subject of Bigfoot attracts all kinds of weirdos and shitheads including you obsessed asshole footers playing the skeptic role.

    3. Wow, that GT/CS character over there seems particularly dense. Describes the delay in exposing the suit.." Extremely delicate negotiating, that will take a long time, is underway".

LOL!...Is that simpleton for real ?

    7. At least one poster over there named River showed some integrity and questioned the validity of the found suit claim, good for him.
The rest are either too dense or don't want to rock the boat and lose acceptance of the rest of the herd.

  4. Yeah they are so secretive they publish a public database of all sightings.

    2. That's it though, sightings are only sightings. What about all the videos and photos they have bought and have stored in the vault. That's what I want to see. But we will probably never see them because they make more money searching for bigfoot, rather than proving its real. Sighting reports are just a fun and interactive way to get people interersted. They offer no concrete proof.

    3. If anything, the BFRO gets accused of not being critical enough on some of the things they claim as evidence: Jacobs photo, Skookum and Big Phil. The idea they are hiding the good stuff is believed by the same clowns who waited up to see the burning bigfoot. CLOWNS all.

    4. they don't post all the sightings, they keep alot for their "investigators".

    5. NO credible scientist believes in bigfoot, even if they theorize it could exist...definitely not attitude of Matt Monkeyfaker and his minions. No science, all crap, next cryptid to debunk please.

  5. MM is the king. While 99% of common carny hoaxers are trying to make a slimy buck on blurry photos and amateur youtube videos, Matt took his circus game to a national level. One hour a week (plus reruns) he gets paid to advertise his squatching campouts and the gullible line up to roast weenies over the fire and hear spooky stories of past outings.

The BFRO is setting up franchises nationwide, giving everyone a chance to fork over a few hundred bucks to sleep in a tent next to where MM (or a certified representative) counts their money. Maybe gravity will cause a rock to fall somewhere in the distance. I bet its a squatch trying to scare us away. Better let a professional make a BF call, or hit a tree, or fry bacon, or set off fireworks just to sure.

PT Barnum and Vince McMahon couldn't have done it better. Here's to you, Matt Moneymaker, God Bless America.

  6. It was probably his wife. If Bigfoot's growl how come we never hear matchmaker doing growling calls instead of howling hoots.

  7. Some details are being left out for good reason.

We don't want promote drug use (DMT in particular), but that is one way to actually see them, along with other phenom toward the dark end of the spectrum.

Matt and a lot of people in the field are somehow convinced they are physical creatures. They are not, PGF was a hoax.

Dont know what or who is making the physical footprints, but these are nature spirits. The natives had it right, they are essentially guarding over the woods (watchers).

Not from our dimension, perhaps overlap is possible.

  8. note: the "sighting" was at night

    it was a bear.

  9. For ten years after his supposed close encounter in Ohio, he never mentioned having had any sighting. He wrote many pieces for years which never mentioned any such sighting. Why? Was Mr. Bigfoot keeping his sighting a secret for some reason? Of course not. He didn't have a sighting. Now, after being involved for so long, his story has grown and become exaggerrated, because the alternative truth is that after all this time and effort, he's never seen anything and that really does not sound good Mr. Bigfoot Professional. Now even he likely believes his repeated lie, and no one will challenge him. Bigfooters like bigfoot stories. Most bigfooters are not really concerned with whether any account is truthful or not.

Here on this big bigfoot blog, ask MM to explain.

Is Greene angry because the "Finding Bigfoot" comparison showed Greene could have certainly hoaxed his Bigfoot grabbing a Zagnut footage...lol

  10. Why oppose legitimate questioning? Is it wrong and "angry" to investigate claims, no matter who they are from? Are we supposed to just accept everything everyone says and bleeve?

    1. Then contact Moneymaker himself and question him about it Jackass. Do you think he's going to show up here ?

    2. Asking questions/skepticism is REQUIRED if we are ever going to have this subject be taken seriously by the general public. What's NOT acceptable is people dismissing intriguing evidence like the PGF using ridiculous arguments or talking points which have already been proven to be stretches at best, and COMPLETELY false at worst. Lots of skeptics come here and that's fine, but some are dismissively stupid in their dissent. Bring facts or at least scientifically based doubts.

  11. I've known Moneymaker since the 90's and I can assure you he was talking about that incident since the 90's. If you think he wasn't talking about it for ten years then you never met him.

Is he supposed to mention that Ohio encounter every time he writes something on the bigfoot subject?

Matt Moneymaker, are you willing to take on a little wager regarding your claimed sighting and a lie detector test regarding the incident?
