Tom Oar From History Channel’s Mountain Men TV Show Hears A Strange Noise While Hunting

The History Channel has blessed the world with a new reality show Mountain Men to show us the kind of people that live off the grid and how they do it. The show stars three men, log cabins, guns, and lots of glorious icicle collecting facial hair just trying to survive in various mountainous areas of the United States.

In the latest episode, many viewers felt like there was a squatchy moment about to happen when Tom and his buddy Will heard a strange noise while out hunting in the Montana Rocky Mountains:

Hunting with his friend Will, he still was unable to kill a deer, but for a moment it seemed that something weird was going on in the Oars’ hunting grounds, with an odd, high-pitched sound scaring off the deer and putting a look of concern on the hunters’ faces.

“Spooky,” Tom said.

“When you’re hunting, you’re listening, to identify a movement behind you, any noise, you’re listening for,” Tom explained in a camera cameo. “We’d hear this noise, then we’d stop and listen for it, then it wouldn’t happen again,” he said eerily.
