SyFy Channel's Bigfoot Film Was So Bad That It Crashed The BFRO's Website Last Night

Wow. Just. Wow. That SyFy original movie, "Bigfoot" was so spectacular and so explosive, that it crashed the Bigfoot Field Researcher Organization's website last night.

According to Matt Moneymaker's Tweet an hour ago, their webserver's hard disk drive was spinning that broke apart. It looks like the ridiculously large monster in the movie may have peeked people's interested when they started to Google: "Is Bigfoot really 40-foot-tall?"

Have no fear though. Since Matt is a computer whiz and he originally built and coded the BFRO's website from scratch, he'll have it back up in no time.

      You didn't miss anything. It was such a waste of time that I want my two hours back. It sucked so bad that I need to rechrome everything with in 100 feet of my tv.

    I think the sci fi channel made it as stupid as possible to poke fun at bigfooters. It would actually take some in depth purposeful thinking to come up with a film that bad.

    Our 12 year old son thought it was the best comedy! We all got a lot of laughs out of a ridiculous plot and cgi hiccups..... Thanks Sci-Fi!

      In the unedited original, Kong puts people in his mouth and bites down. There were more references to giant monster flicks than to bigfooting for sure.

Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
