Robert Lindsay: Source Claims Ketchum Discovered Bigfoot Is A Relict Hominid That's Known To Science

This is a Blockbuster announcement indeed Mr. Robert Lindsay. Yes. In. Deed. So word on the street has it that Dr. Ketchum knows the results of the Bigfoot DNA test, but what hasn't been leaked, until now is what exactly they did find. An unnamed sourced recently hinted to Lindsay that they may have discovered a relict hominid that's known to science. What this means is that Bigfoot is, or could be, a cousin of one of the known relict hominids that science thought was extinct.

The sciency part in all this is that we don't know if the results matched the Nuclear-DNA side of the equation, or did Ketchum discover a hominid match on the whole animal. If you didn't understand what I just wrote, you're not alone because I don't quite understand it myself.

Blockbuster news! We have it on good authority that the Dr. Melba Ketchum study has not only proven that Bigfoots exist, but that they are an existing relict hominid. But that’s not the big news; you already knew that.

So what’s the big news? A source inside the Ketchum camp has informed me that the Ketchum study folks not only have proven that these hominids exist, but they have identified the exact hominid that the Bigfooots are! “They know which one it is,” is how it was related to me.

That means, apparently, that the Bigfoots are a known hominid, known from the fossil or possibly DNA record. It’s a hominid that is already known and exists in the scientific record. Not only that, but this known hominid has managed somehow to survive to the present day! So a known relict hominid, well known to science, never went extinct and instead survives to this very day.

I asked the source which identified hominid the Bigfoots are, and the source either would not or was not able to tell me.

There are parts of this that I do not understand. Do they mean that they have identified the hominid on the nuclear side? Because on the MtDNA side, the Bigfoots are 100% human. Bigfoots are hybrids. Or does it mean that the Bigfoots themselves are concordant with and identical to a known relict hominid, known by science but thought to have gone extinct?

Are there known relict hominids which are hybrids of human on one side and an unknown relict hominid on the other? I don’t know, and so much does not make sense about this information.

Could it be Neandertal? Maybe, but Neandertal was not human on the MtDNA side, and I believe Richard Stubstad said that Neandertals were ruled out on the nuclear side. Could it be Denisovan? Possibly, but I do not believe that the Denisovans were human on the MtDNA side either.

Could it be the Red Deer Cave People recently found in China? Possibly, but I believe that we lack DNA for these relict hominids. However, they do have a backwards-sloping forehead, and this is what true Bigfoots have and most hoaxes get wrong. It can’t be Flores Man – they are far too small.

What about Heidelbergensis? This has always been my favorite for the Bigfoots. However, I believe we have no Heidelbergensis DNA. Nor do we have DNA from various forms of Erectus and whatnot.

So how is it that they think they know which hominid it is? My source told me that they may know if they have an actual Bigfoot specimen, which he suspects they do. The source thinks that the Ketchum study retained a full Bigfoot specimen from the Sierra Kills. In that case, they could compare say the skull from the Kills with existent skulls of say, Heidelbergensis.

David Claerr has written many fascinating pieces on this topic. In one of his articles, he implied that he had seen Bigfoot skeletons either in museums or in private collections. I asked him to elaborate, but he was not able to do so due to agreements with his sources.

The Ketchum camp really, really does not want this information getting out now, so I have been told. But this information comes from a new source inside the Ketchum camp who is best described as “disgruntled” with the way things are going.

I wish I could tell you more about this, but this is apparently a deep secret among the study folks, and it was hard enough to come up with this tidbit. But we will see if any elaborating information comes out in the future due to this revelation.

I am trying to play nice but honestly, I think this is a load of crap...just my opinion though. I mean, Smeja is OBVIOUSLY full of it, so to say Melba toast has a full body? I dont buy it yet....but I really want someone to prove otherwise.

Not from science standpoint guys, Im saying that religious people faced with evidence of multiple human lineages could have a difficult time making that jive with the creation account in Genesis....didnt the flood wipe everyone but Noahs family out? Werent adam and eve Homo Sapiens? So after the flood in genesis, everyone wouldve been Adam's decendents through Noah....so one of Noahs sons married a relic hominid, or he had two in the ark in a cage? It just cant work out in my mind....christians would have to accept text-book evolution

    10. Timmy, I appreciate the point you are trying to make, but please understand that it's incorrect to say that "Christians would have to accept text-book evolution." 5. No, it wasn't. It was in the middle of nowhere, and when you're in the middle of nowhere, you're pretty far from somewhere. It was an auburn Bigfoot. The palms of his hands were white. It's head went to a point like a gorilla. His eye shine was red. His arms went all the way to his knees. He was 4 feet wide at the shoulder. When he walked, it was like he was gliding on air. He crossed the road in 2 steps then peeked at me from behind a tree then, he started banging a tree with a stick and threw rocks at me. He let out a huge yell that sounded like a cross between a lion and an elephant. He smelled like wet dog, mixed with skunk. I've been a hunter since I was 2 yrs old and know every animal in the forest, this was no animal I'd ever seen.

    8. Heidelbergensis supposedly evolved into homo sapiens and neanderthals. Its possible that they could have branched off into another hominid. Btw, how do you or anyone else for that matter actually know how heidelbergensis actually looked? When we recreate species in the genus homo we use anthropomorphism heavily. We don't know if they looked like us. Hair isn't fossilized so how do we know how much hair they actually had? The wax figures and other artistic depictions could be completely wrong. Youtube "Neanderthal Super Predator" and check out that theory for yourself before making a wild claim like that.

      Delete
    9. I sure hope this study can keep up with your confidence. I'm not biased so I don't pick sides with the human/ape camps, but I'll just say the impact of the discovery of another human species living today will be the biggest news story in the history of journalism, especially since so many people easily dismissed it as a hoax.

      Delete
    10. Oh and I'm not taking up for Lindsay in any way. I just believe that the squatch may be heidelbergensis or a branch off from heidelbergensis. Wouldn't discount erectus either-simply because of erectus having more of a sagittal crest and heidelbergensis having more of a sagittal keel.

      Delete
    11. I believe the same as Okie on this one. I have always thought heidelbergensis was the most likely candidate for what we call Sasquatch. But I also always believed none of the early hominids went extinct. Out of all of them Homo sapiens were the frail ones and we outlived them?

According to eyewitness reports there seems to be three types up here in the Pacific Northwest, and possibly three types in the South. (Some of the Southern reports speak of creatures with round heads).

    12. When this is prove to be fact and it will be fairly soon, then the chance is very good the (other species?) sightings from elsewhere around the world are real too. How great is this, to have living speaking cavemen basically! ;)

Laymen throw the word around to mean something it doesn't really mean.

Relativity is called a theory ,but it's been proven to be correct, over and over and over again.

    6. I didn't say it was a law , but it is akin to a law..It is NOT something that is considered "up for debate" in the scientific community. Nobody is out disproving Relativity. They are using it to assist with their present work. Nobody in science is out disproving evolution. They are out seeing how it all fits together .

So, I believe it is YOU who has failed science 101.
if yer a science teacher you are a terrible one.

      Delete
    7. Here's the definition of a scientific theory:

In science, the term "theory" refers to "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment."[11][12] Theories must also meet further requirements, such as the ability to make falsifiable predictions with consistent accuracy across a broad area of scientific inquiry, and production of strong evidence in favor of the theory from multiple independent sources.

      Delete
    8. Proof of evolution? lol If you want to go that route there is more proof that saquatch exists. If you are counting compiled evidence as proof.

There is no proof in evolution. There is only proof in mutation. And there is proof of environment causing mutation ie; Black people coming from the area's of Africa where the are more exposed to direct sunlight increasing the melonon in their skin or white people from northern europe becoming more hairy. Or even certain reptiles developing webbed feet. But no proof that one species becomes another.

Before you try to use the mutation case for evolution, cancer is also a mutation of your own cells, Down Syndrome is also a mutation as well as various other genetic diseases.

The whole THEORY of evolution was based on one creature looking similar to another. But the puzzle is seriously flawed. What did Platypuses evolve from? or Tasmanian Tigers? Even if you look at all the hominids there is no gradual change between any of them. If A,B,C,and D are all cousins that came from creature X, then why does A have a crest, B have a keel, C have a forehead and D have an elongated skull when X was an obvious ape?

Go even further in that theory. This protean merged with that creating this up until you got your first bacteria then single celled organism that became this mollusk which became that crustacean which split and became this fish and that insect all the way up to dinosaurs. Which are all thought to have been wiped out by some huge cataclysmic event that caused world wide extinction... How the hell did any of them have time to evolve into us?

And if we are so sure that it all started with that way, then why are we still unable to create life? We can engineer bacteria and viruses. We can clone and maybe even cross splice our own animals. But we can't create a single living cell? So where is the "Proof" of evolution?

  35. Someone on BFF just posted a quote and link that implied that MK has just responded to RL on her facebook page as follows:

Ketchum: "Ok, so much for the fiction being written. There are no leaks because NOBODY knows but the authors and me as the study changed over the course of the investigation! The authors do not know any of y'all and wouldn't talk about it even if they did (and another reason I am keeping them anonymous so you guys won't bug them). As usual it is more of the same hogwash with the same people. To all of you that are sincere, thank you, it will be worth the wait, I can assure you of that!"

It's unclear however, because her FB page is dead as is the link for the above quote he provided. So I'm not sure if this is one of her old responses to one of RL's old stories, or if this is a current response.

  36. I've always thought if an unknown number of primates,

"as large as they say bigfoot can get" exist in the

USA, just by the facts of a breeding population, at

least "one" would turn up to study.

After years of tree peeking and such, roads, settle-

ments, explorers, and just the curiosity of said

creature. Just one should be had.

All that being said, I just can't wrap my head

around a creature of this size not being proved with

a body or at least something that "really" proves its

a possibility. Its just not possible this creature

    exist my gut feeling.

  37. heidelbergensis is not a match based on contemporary sasquatch / bigfoot accounts. If it evolved it did so in reverse..devolved. We know they were tool users, spears, fire, structure builders, large game hunters etc. Show me their foot bones that match the purported sasquatch tracks. Where are their communities? Where are the hunting parties?

"Some" looked like NFL players not Patty.

Until it is in writing indisputable prof we are all just venting. However freedom of speech allows us such a right so I guess we take the good with the bad and keep on keeping on!!

    1. Why can the name of the paper not be released? Why can the scientists contributing not be named? Why can the journal not be named?

      Because there's no paper.

All these things are perfectly reasonable requests that have never happened in the history of science before now. Even results are allowed to be discussed at conferences before the paper is published. This is how science actually works. The smoke and mirrors surrounding the paper is not science.

      Delete
    2. There is no smoke without a fire so of course there's a paper and it's coming out eventually, Ketchum just got caught in the whole damn Facebook idiocy which is a medium of communication that always appealed more the women than men anyway, now that she's there she feels she must post from time to time when it'd been better not to say anything from the beginning and wait for the day of release.

  40. One possibility, perhaps already discussed: Robert Lindsay got "flushed" on this one. What I mean is that an easy and effective way to find leaks in your organization is to feed misinformation to a suspected leaker, particularly "amazing" info. If that incredible story gets out, you've confirmed your suspicion (ashamed to say I actually used this method before) -- this may be why RL is losing his sources. The member of Ketchum's team who told him this info may have just ID'd themselves as a leak and will be shut out immediately.

    2. They have done this to me before. That's how they out their people who are leaking to me. They don't give me false information. They give me information that is more or less correct, except it is slightly erroneous.

For instance, they leaked to me that the Hovey photo was coming out on Thursday and it was associated with the Olympic Project. The Hovey photo was coming out that Thursday, and the description was otherwise correct, but it had nothing to do with the Olympic Project.

I ran the story and they used that to out a source.

So yeah, they are doing that, and it's all coming from Ketchum and those close to her.

      Delete
    3. Mr Lindsay, not one thing you've reported on the Sierra incident or Ketchum's DNA study is verifiable. When you report something it's either true or it isn't. There is not middle ground as you've tried to say. In your case it has all been undeniably false.

    4. I'm anonymous 9:35, above -- thank you for the replies, Mr. Lindsay and others.

  41. As a skeptic and critical thinker, I must conclude that this story is a hoax. The Ketchum and Oxford studies are hoaxes, as well as the Erickson and Olympic Projects and all the footprints, videos, eyewitness reports, hair samples, etc. They're just trying to fool all the gullible people out there. Well, I have news for them: THEY CAN'T FOOL ME!! I'M NOT FALLING FOR IT!! Let's face it: Bigfoot doesn't exist. How do I know? BECAUSE IF IT DID WE WOULD HAVE FOUND ONE ALREADY! WE ARE REALLY SMART!! WE KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW!!!

    I'll stop shouting now.

  44. I have some insight as to the reason that the results are taking so long smooth into a viable paper, and it's because the DNA from the study got all mixed up.

This was due largely to the preferred collection method employed by the Dr., which utilized a refrigerator box with several good sized glory holes cut into the sides of it before it was brought into areas of known recent sasquatch activity. The problem arises because a handful of bigfoot researches became aware of the locations they were using for these "dna drop zones", and under cover of darkness, visited them themselves, masquarading as Bigfoots by call blasting and tree knocking. So the samples all got mixed up, human mixed with Sasquatch, thus the interesting but misleading result.
