Justin Smeja Gets YouTube Closed Caption Treatment

"If I'm poaching..." segment

It's a known fact that the YouTube Closed Caption engine sucks. That's why it's even more hilarious when Huck Sterfoot decided to turn it on to see how it translated Smeja's epic interview with Ro Sahebi.

  1. Why are some parts of the interview in b&w? I hate that distracting video effect trend, cheapens any subject debated.

  11. I agree that YouTube isn't what it used to be but what else is available that's as popular?
I enjoyed Ro's conversation with Justin. It was an easy going chat in a kitchen drinking some beer, so the atmosphere was relaxed. I also like the way the video was put together and I didn't find the b&w portions distracting.
If those are actual captions, then the closed caption engine really does suck, big time.
