Images Of Thermal Footage And Foot Print From Destination Truth's Vietnam Bigfoot Episode

Just as promised, Josh Gates and the Destination Truth team delivered the goods last night when they found some amazing evidence supporting the existence of Bigfoot in Vietnam. The photo above is from the footage from the Vietnam episode showing an unidentified bipedal figure walking through the jungle. After attempting to track down the figure, the team stumbled into a nearby cave where they discovered even more evidence.

While stomping through the cave, the team found some gigantic prints, and toes were clearly visible in the prints. The team took casts of the prints and brought them back to Dr. Jeff Meldrum where he concluded that the cast (which they converted into a 3D computer model) along with photos of a foot print from a Vietnamese researcher are the best evidence yet of an unrecognized species in the jungles of Vietnam.

  1. It was a fairly decent print, good episode

  2. sometimes this stuff reminds me Ihshi's story though, where people picked up his last cache of belongings in a cave, not realizing it meant survival for him.
Wonder how this invasion, a TV crew following into a retreat, will sit with the being, and if it will force it to search for a new home?
    Too much drama.

    1. Real good point. That always bothered me how he was separated from the last remnants of his family group during that intrusion. I think his sister and mother/father?

  3. I've never put much faith in Destination Truth. The team seem amazingly inept in every episode I've seen.

  4. I never take this show seriously its not really about the paranormal its more about the traveling which is probably the main reason why I keep watching it. The bits when they go ghost hunting are a lot better than the crypto stuff.

  5. this night scene was a lot better than any on finding bigfoot

  6. I have always liked DT because they seem to come up with a good amount of evidence (and don't say everything is a squatch). This was a decent episode, but I'm disappointed with the new cast members. What exactly is the purpose of Katy? She seemed lost the entire time. Liked having Ryder along once again, though.

  7. Vietnam vets have reported on 'rock apes' for decades.

  8. This by far blew away any episode of Finding Bigfoot, and this crew is gung ho. They get back into areas that are way off the beaten path. I found it highly entertaining and I was quite impressed with the evidence as was Dr. Meldrum. I found it very interesting that a new animal that weighs 200 lbs was just discovered here last year and in 2011 the largest cave in the world was also discovered here here. You think a highly intelligent creature could not also go undiscovered then think again.

  9. I'm with Chuck on this. You can crap on this show if you want but the evidence collected on this episode is significant. And this is not the first time for Josh and his crew. The evidence collected at in the Himalayas was also very interesting.

  10. Awesome show! I definitely wouldn't have the balls to go into those caves. This show kept me on the edge of the couch! Way better than finding bigfoot! I'm not shure if they do or not but the crew seriously need to keep firearms close at hand!

  11. Funny, where are all the skeptics when there's legitimate evidence to report?

  12. I wonder what that "low" growling was? Was also kinda suprised they didn't find bones, etc in the cave.
    Much liked

  13. the show is so ridiculously corny that it's hard to take any of it seriously. i curse blair witch ... i can't stand that copy cat camera style.

my two cents: it's all staged. "reality" tv is all scripted and over-produced, but this is the one show that is real?

i'm glad you all are believers because it's renewing this skeptic's faith (skeptical of the shows, not the possibility of unknown animals). thanks for that!
