Guy Edwards Sending Bigfoot Hair Sample To Bryan Sykes at Oxford University for DNA Analysis

Guy Edwards of BigfootLunchClub.com recently revealed this sample of "Bigfoot Hair" he just received in the mail. According to Greg Ash, a British Writer / Director & Actor, Guy is sending it off to Oxford University for DNA analysis. Earlier today, Guy revealed the hair sample to Greg during a "Bigfoot meeting" in Portland, Oregon.

Guy Edward hasn't publicly announced this yet, so we hope he forgives us for breaking this story. You can check out his awesome blog at BigfootLunchClub.com.

      Don't they have all they have the DNA sequence of almost every animal on the planet. They would probably just compare to all known species, and if it comes back with no match, go a little bit further. If it comes back with no match, they would probably try to compare the basic sequences and see which one is closest, I think they would be able to know if it's ea bear, or feline, dog, etc. It's like Latin words, you use the root word to match it to other related words.

    It seems like people aren't that excited about the oxford study which makes no sense this is the one people should be paying attention to, not THAT other one. lol It probably isn't bigfoot hair, but at least he's sending it to the right people to get it analyzed.

      well i guess believers would rather pay attention to a study coming from a lady who's a believer rather than a study from a well known university that will probably just end up saying that bigfoot doesn't exist.

      I hope they do find something maybe it leads to some sort of field research. Oxford has deep pockets (1.3 billion) if bigfoot exists that kind of money would probably nab you one.

      Anon at 541 that is just sad. You want a biased source with questionable professional reputation to be the one to "grease this thru" the taxonomy door? IF I were a Bigfoot believer I would want Oxford on the top of any DNA or Taxonomy classification report. IF Melba ever gets a valid study published the teo studies should be in agreement anyway....as in more reputable proof.

    One thing this site needs is a dedicated topic to the Oxford DNA study.
    Basically the information should include who's submitting sample and what's the backstory on acquiring the sample. Basically just keep updating it (pushing it to the top of this site when new information is known (like a new sample being submitted) Also the results (once released) should be included. I don't see why any researchers would be against that being done. It would be a great idea IMO.

BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works.
