Contact With Bigfoot Could Be Hazardous To Our Health And Theirs
Prior to the arrival of Europeans, various sources estimate that the native population in North and South America was around ninety to one hundred million. According to some estimates, the number of Indians in the Americas killed by European diseases such as smallpox is estimated to be above 65%. The early colonists and explorers also brought measles, cholera, yellow fever, and many more devastating diseases. This drastically diminished the Native American population and annihilated entire villages. If this same scenario was played out in modern times with humans coming into contact with Sasquatch, who would suffer the most?
In an article titled, "Bigfoot Biohazard: Sasquatch Microbiome an Unpercieved Threat", David Claerr explores what could happen and he writes about the inherent risks of humans contacting with Bigfoot:
The main point of this essay is to inform both researchers and would-be hunters that there are many risks inherent in the study or contact with these beings. Symptoms of infections or parasitical infestations can take weeks, months and even years to manifest. For the record, I am personally against the hunting or forced incarceration of the Sasquatch, or Bigfoot. There are several geographical areas where a non-confrontational approach such as that pioneered by Jane Goodall with the the chimpanzees of the Congo, would yield a wealth of information on the Sasquatch. It is also very likely that physical remains of a Sasquatch, having died of natural causes, will be recovered from one of these settings. As this essay is being drafted, comprehensive studies of the Sasquatch genome have been and are being performed by several genetics teams, so hunting and killing one of these sentient relatives of ours is not necessary to define the species scientifically.
There is saying that "Knowledge is Strength". The flip side of this concept is that "Ignorance is Weakness". Persons who irresponsibly go "messin' with Sasquatch" may be messing with their own health, that of their loved ones, and potentially with the health of the human race in general.

I am amazed any survived ( assuming they may exist ). Furthermore I wouldn't be surprised that their days are limited, the list of potential killers are here now, wasting disease found in elk and deer in the mid-west, rabies, and numerous types of influenza could wipe them out in a single season. No wonder they remain so elusive and frightened of us - we are toxic.

ReplyDeleteI have warned my fellow researchers for the last year or two about this and the need to handle anything with gloves as a minimum. There are recorded cases of wild chimps dying from human diseases brought to the African study sites by humans. They now have strict protocols. Look it up.

The same for Timucua, Apalachee and Pensacola tribes. It is very possible our simple virus' - the common cold - could kill a BF. However, going through our garbage may have exposed some BF to SOME of our viruses - but that wouldn't necessarily mean they are immune. It's very possible they may have something our immune system can't fight off either. Again, just look at the chimps and Ebola & HIV - it doesn't affect them, but kills us.

ReplyDeleteMost diseases didn't come from direct contact, but are airborne and object-borne. If a sasquatch eats our food he is at risk. They may have their own natural-medicines that help them. They are most likely already effected by us and we would most likely be effected by them already. Thousands of reports stream in from rural areas and I for one know they come into small villages as they've entered mine.

I'm as healthy as a human could be in this disease and parasite ridden society. I carry all of the diseases that the Europeans so kindly gave us and have a record of immunizations for college and travel. The sasquatch still come around and I still go out looking for them.
This is a very valid point; however, if there is one thing that I know about the government, corporations, politicians, animal rights groups, etc is that nothing gets in the way of government and their progress. There is NO F'N WAY they will shut down forests for them. They will first do what they did for us. They will first send armed forces in and try to strike a deal or kill them, they will then send missionaries in to attempt to convert them to Christianity and finally wipe out all those that appose any treaty or new law.
They obviously have an advantage over us and a clan if provoked could more than likely take out a team of Navy Seals without much loss. In the end the government would have to bomb the shit out of the forests to truly defeat them.

He received his core education from Christian missionaries. It was because of Christian missionaries that he was able to leave his ratty-ass country and come here and get his law degree. MOST estimates say a likely population of 1-3 million for North America.

The Norse gave them milk, which they loved, but they were lactose intolerant and got sick so they attacked the vikings. They didn't get along after that.
