Clifford LaBrecque Selling Life Size Bigfoot Replica for $80,000 On Ebay
A 73 year old man named Clifford LaBrecque from Norfork, (who claims he's holding on to a rare videotape of Bigfoot "in its natural habitat") is selling his "museum quality" model of Bigfoot for $80,000. He had it made in the late 70s for $9,000 after he was grabbed by a Bigfoot.
The encounter happened, according to LaBrecque, between 9-10 p.m. near a woodpile behind LaBrecque's home in the Windsor Heights suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to the altercation, LaBrecque says he observed almost nightly a Bigfoot specimen — about 8 feet tall — that sometimes appeared with two apparently juvenile Bigfoot creatures.
He says he called a Des Moines newspaper to tell of the sightings and had argued with the newspaper over copyrights to Bigfoot photographs should the newspaper act on his tip and obtain photographs.
On June 18 he had decided to shoot to kill the larger Bigfoot and had positioned his car for the shot that he believed would furnish incontrovertible evidence of the reality of the Bigfoot creature.
If you're asking about the footage of Bigfoot-- Don't bother; because he only shows it privately due to fear of being ridiculed.

An Anonymous a few posts up said he/she called the seller and the seller claims it's a taxidermy. I can't buy that even for a second. I know Shawn posted an article on this guy quite awhile ago so the details are fuzzy. I was under the impression that the seller created this completely on his own.
The guy is worried about ridicule?? He has a huge model on Ebay for $80,000, he claims to have had an encounter and also claims to have video, but doesn't want to share it.
If I said I had an encounter AND had video of the Sasquatch, chances are quite high that I would show it to people.
If the video was that good, it would be up for sale as well.

ReplyDeleteI have spoken to several people who claim to have seen Bigfoot. The most sincere individuals were a couple of old guys at a deer camp in rural NW Arkansas back in the 1980s. They called Bigfoot "Big Stinkies" as they smelled so strong. They said they don`t go around telling people as they know they will be ridiculed. As for me, I say, how does anyone even know what is really the truth. And how can someone just poo-poo someone else who claims they`ve seen Bigfoot? After all, religion teaches us to believe in spirits we cannot see on this planet! I grew up in a very real haunted house and I will swear on a stack of Bibles that I am telling the truth! So, anyone who says I`m lying has no idea what they`re talking about!
