Yes, we are getting dumber by the minute. According to FB/FB, their "universal theory" states that we are in the process of getting smaller and dumber rather than bigger and smarter. "How so?" you ask. If you're curious, read on my friends.

This is a repost of an article titled, "Bigfoot researchers release new book called You Are Sasquatch" by Jeffery Pritchett. Pritchett is the host of The Church Of Mabus Radio Show "bringing you high strange stories from professionals in the carousel of fields surrounding the paranormal".

Now here's one for the Squatch files over at my radio show site The Church of Mabus. We're we have had many Sasquatch professionals on discussing this legendary being. But for researchers to be so bold as to release a book stating, "You Are Sasquatch How Humanity Descended From A Smarter Ape" like these fine gentleman is most assuredly blunt and bold and sure to turn a few heads. So I decided that I just had to get an interview with them, to see what's up with this book. So here we are again, meeting on the wild berry trails of Squatchery to get the scoop! Presenting.

1. Your new book You are Sasquatch has a very provocative title. How exactly are we Sasquatch?

Well that is a great question. All humans have come from a human shaped ape, not a chimpanzee, Gorilla or Australopithecus, we never knucklewalked. How this happened is the purpose of the book. Humanity is in the process of domestication into the group from our natural state of the individual and individual family group. This is a complex process that we try to explain as simply as possible using analogous animals that everyone can relate to. The fact that Sasquatch not only exist, but exist throughout the whole of the United States is extraordinarily important to mankind and to science. Sightings from Florida to Alaska show a successful species that made transitions to adapt to different niche, namely the water, winter and bipedalism. This could only happen on one side of the Bering straight. Since the distribution is so great in North America it is the obvious choice. Homo Erectus was born in America.

2. Could you tell us a bit about everyone that is involved in your book?

Well that is an extensive list and a pretty good story. Originally we planned on making a movie on the subject in an attempt to explain the mystery that is Sasquatch. Credit has to go to John Green for taking the time to point out the morotopithecus vertebrae from 21.6 million years ago. We were at his house in Harrison Hot Springs and at the end of the movie interview came down told me to start here and pointed to the backbone. From that point Dr. Aaron Fillers work began to explain the process by which Sasquatch and humanity came to be. It became conceivable that we could explain the process. This became a thought experiment that was handled by Jack D. Barnes with daily conversations with Jeffrey L Andersen, discussing the data and finding new an important pieces to the puzzle. It became a team effort to understand how the world only makes sense with Sasquatch inhabiting the whole of North America and being smarter in some way than modern humans. Christopher Noel served as editor, Bigfoot Expert and consultant on the project. Jeff Caramagna illustrated the book and each of the different steps toward Sasquatch then toward humanity. There were hundreds of people who added evidence and insight along the way experts, researchers and enthusiasts.

3. What exactly is the smarter ape theory?

It actually is a universal theory that explains how humanity became possible. But in general it states that we are in the process of getting smaller and dumber rather than bigger and smarter. Everyone has seen the 1950s drawing is incorrect and we revise the chart in this book. We came from an animal that is strategically superior to ourselves.It weaves together 9 other theories into their proper place. Namely, the upright ape, out-of-africa, asian red-ape theory, biblical story of creation, dispersal vs. displacement theories, nocturnal/diurnal progression in primate theory, self-domestication theory, the aquatic ape theory and the savannah. Each of these series carries a great bit of truth but fall short a rational explanation. They are wove together with a new theory called the General Theory of Adaptation based on the work of AG Filler, Stephen J. Gould and Ernst Mayr. It hypothesizes that there are two phases of adaptation that explain the many yet to be explained mysteries in biology: the individual and the group.

4. Could you tell us what some of your experience is when it comes to Sasquatch research?

We have been on maybe 30 expeditions over the last 3 and half years, we have been within 30 feet of Sasquatch maybe four or five times, in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Washington. But the social network component was really the game changer and meeting and talking to thousands of researchers enthusiasts and skeptics on a daily basis. The heavy lifting and thanks really has to go to the fans of fbfb.

5. What exactly is your end all goal when it comes to your Sasquatch research?

Our goal now is simply to curate the data. If the book is successful enough we hope to be able to hire a few staff and catalog every picture, video, sound and footprint into usable form. There are thousands of sightings each year. Now with portable cameras there may be 10 to 20 videos of real sasquatch taken and uploaded to youtube or mailed to experts. We just featured two videos (Mink Creek Idaho and LaRayesville PA) that were emailed and authenticated by Dr. Jeff Meldrum. We added De-shaker and context to each and showed why they were real Sasquatch. We then catagorized them and added them to the authenticated list which is continually updated.

6. The Sasquatch field seems like such a mad house at times with so many different perspectives. How do you feel about all the recent DNA hype?

Eventually DNA will be tested and it will reveal that Sasquatch are the source of most of our adaptations. It will be more diverse than our genome and may be 46 or 48 chromosomes. Did the flip to 46 chromosomes happen in America or after migration to Asia? We are undecided but we lean toward 46 chromosomes for the nuclear DNA in North America, but that would just be a guess. The mtdna and X chromosomes will be human. We talk about the effects of domestication on the genome to make it more refined using practical real life examples from russian studies. Here is something most people don't realize. All seven billion of us have less genetic diversity than 2 chimpanzee from the same troupe in Africa. Without the smarter ape theory. The DNA would only appear confusing.

7. When it comes to the Sasquatch do you feel there are multidimensional or paranormal elements involved?

Sasquatch is like every human on the planet and every creature on the planet. No one or thing can go between dimensions. We know that many people have dedicated their lives to this kind of study so we don't want to insult or demean anyone's point of view. Sasquatch are flesh and blood creatures with abilities that are wholly different than our own. We must understand those abilities to understand our own true nature. Sasquatch is consider paranormal because it seems impossible, when they actually are hypernormal and our modern society is the abnormal aberration. A long time ago people thought disease was caused by witches and lightning was God casting judgement down on people. They drowned the witches and let the houses burn because they did not understand lighting, electricity, viruses and microbes. The simple fact that humanity exists is an absolute miracle of drifting continents, ice caps and ocean levels. Create the earth a billion times and we might happen only once. It might take a billion earths to make one sentient creature called man.

8. Why hasn't a Sasquatch body ever been found or one taken alive? Which the taken alive or actually harming one I would be totally against.

Well, I think we underestimate the power of the family unit of a Sasquatch family. It is very powerful and Sasquatch are almost never alone. Sasquatch care deeply about their family members and probably don't want to see wolves or other creatures gnawing on their loved one. They are very sparsely populated and find areas of the greatest strategic significance. If you think that they are actually smarter than us, it kind of makes sense. I think a few have been taken and either released in the case of Jocko in British Columbia in the 1890's. A few other times like the Minnesota iceman and a possible few hunters have shot and taken but a specimen would be of incredible significance every aspect of our society. It would change religion, education and politics. Since there is no explanation it makes sense that people would decide to leave well-enough alone.

9. What else would you like to share with us about your new book?

I would encourage everyone to read it. There have been no less than 100 Eureka! moments when writing this book. Anyone that reads it says the same thing. It is one of the most incredible books ever written and it really is the powerful story of the social network. It will help everyone in their own personal lives.

10. What future books can we expect from you and what can you hint at regarding them content wise?

This book has been carved down into one shorter book and content has been removed and placed into two other books. Book two is "The General Theory of Adaptation". They describe the process in detail of how humanity became as well as the many mysteries of biology. For example why there are 32,000 types of beetle that appear instantaneously rather than just one. That is called punctuated equilibrium and once we understand that we come from a much larger ape rather than coming up from a small brained chimp it makes the rest of biology make so much more sense as well. Book three is "I am a Sasquatch" and it describes a Sasquatch in detail and how you are a Sasquatch in every aspect of your life. How we have undergone change from, Nocturnal to Diurnal and individual to group. It will also detail the behaviors and morphology of a Sasquatch in great detail using the sighting and video record.
