This artwork by Severino Baraldi for the British magazine 'Look and Learn', depicts the famous Ape Canyon incident from 1924 where Fred Beck and four of his fellow gold miners claimed they were awakened by an attack on their cabin during a prospecting job at Mount St. Helens.

DeleteThey just don't make Bigfoots like they used to. Back in the day, Bigfoots wouldn't take sh1t from anybody. You entered their territory and they would fvck you up. They were just plain badass. Today's Bigfoots are a bunch of flower pickin' pusses. Their all like 'oh no it's a human, run and hide'. Back then, they'd throw boulders at you, with the intention of smashing your skull in. Now, they throw pebbles and pine cones at you and hope that none of them make contact with your body. Yep, Bigfoots ain't what they used to be, Bigfoot is gay.

DeleteMaybe you don't know the story: the miners had supposedly shot one of the creatures earlier, motivating the tribe to attack the cabin. There is your answer why they behaved differently.
