World of Mysteries: On the Trail of Bigfoot [Free Documentary]

Editor’s Note: This is a post by Bigfoot Evidence contributor Vicki W.

"World of Mysteries: On the Trail of Bigfoot" is a British documentary that is well worth the watch. There are comments from John Bindernagel, John Green, and Jeff Meldrum. One of the best parts are several eyewitness statements done in a sit down style reminiscent of TV shows such as "I Survived", wherein a subject is shown seated in close-up simply recounting the story. Terry Reams details his sighting on a highway that was reported by a half dozen other citizens, some of whom were police officers. He was also featured on an episode of "Monster Quest" relating this very compelling story.

The token skeptic role is filled by Frank Poirier, a professor of anthropology at Stetson University in Florida. Also included are comments from cryptozoologist John Kirk, amateur researcher John Pickering who is a tracker shown discussing and demonstrating field research, and fingerprint expert Jimmy Chilcutt. Bigfoot guides Fred Bradshaw and Cliff Crook from Washington take interested people into the woods at night in hopes of seeing a sasquatch, something they do free of charge.

Part 3 touches on the deeply divided issue of 'to kill or not to kill', even discussing the weapon and ammunition that would likely be required, as well as the moral debate. Skeptic Poirier surprisingly offers his concern for the sasquatch species should they prove to be real, saying that "humans tend to destroy everything they touch".

The documentary is uploaded in three parts.

    Absolutely right.

  2. "Ok", but doesn't delve deeply into the real field of research, more of a layman's surface primer of the subject. Neat to see the British perspective in a documentary though.
