David Shealy's Skunk Ape Show Gets "Greenlight" On Travel Channel

Last June, we reported that Skunk Ape expert, David Shealy, was filming a pilot for a reality TV show about Skunk Apes for the Discovery network. One year later, things are looking good for Shaely and the film crew. The production company is California-based Authentic Entertainment, the production company behind reality TV shows Ace of Cakes (Food Network) and Flipping Out (Bravo).

Loren Coleman reported on Cryptomundo.com today that David Shealy's show just got the "greenlight" to start airing episodes on the Travel Channel. "The focus will be about Shealy’s search for the Skunk Ape in the Everglades of Florida. If the pilot gets good initial ratings, half a dozen episodes will be scheduled to screen," Coleman reported.

  2. I agree. Sure beats the hell out of Moneymaker and his boring, predictable and ridiculous show.

  3. I'm excited to see this - real people acting and speaking like real people, not trying to come across as the know-it-all authorities on skunk apes. Can't wait!

  4. hmmmm to think that the government knows nothing about either the Big Foot or skunk Ape is just BS! in my humble opinion. All of it will come out sooner or later!

    1. Yeah, its all a big conspiracy. They are hiding Bigfoots at Area 51. You wouldn't by chance hang out on the Melba Ketchum's FB page. That would explain a lot.

    1. Fasano and Dyer are crying in a beer together right now over the injustice of being passed over. Stay tuned as next, they'll both blow it off (and burn their bridges) by saying that production company didn't meet their quality standards anyway.

  8. I watched a show of his about skunk ape once and it seemed he had pretty much dedicated his life to finding it. His photos of it were very convincing to me and I'm a skeptic. I think this is the kind of show I can look forward to. I had to stop watching finding bigfoot just too lame.J.D.

  14. I like what I see. I hope the show lives up to the hype. Seems right now the country is infatuated with Bigfoot.
