Two Bigfoot Films We Would Like To See Made

Even with websites like KickStarter and indiegogo to help film makers out with funding, there is still a chance that potentially great Bigfoot films will never be made because they never met their funding goals.

Last year there was a film concept called "Bigfoot Chronicles" that only accumulated $50 of funding out the $35,000 goal that needed to be raised in order to get the ball rolling. Although the film didn't get the financial backing that it needed, executive producer Tom Monson still has the video up with a brief description of what to expect.

Our Story

Hi. My name is Tom Monson. I think the best way to tell you about Bigfoot Chronicles is to tell you how I came up with the idea. Years ago, I met this old guy from Oregon. He worked in the woods as a tree faller. He told me about a face to face encounter he had with Bigfoot. At the time I remember thinking this guy must be nuts. But since then, I've heard too many stories about similar encounters from credible people including a president of the United States. I thought there could be something there. Not to brag but I've had a successful career as a film maker, I've produced dozens of documentaries and won quite a few awards because I like my work and take it seriously. So a few years ago, I decided to produce a feature film about Bigfoot.

So I started thinking what if this aging film maker would set out to use it to prove that Bigfoot was real. What's at stake is $10 million cash prize to produce a movie with significant social value. So he goes to Oregon to find Bigfoot. Accompanied by a woman poroducer, an aspiring, young camera man, an unbllieving anthropologise and a local mountain man, they take the perilous journey to the lost world of Bigfoot. Their journey takes them through dense forests, steep cliffs and dangerous mountain trails.

Still grieving from his wife's passing, our film maker has to learn how to live again. The theme of this movie: It'd be hard to compare this low-budget film with the special effects masterpieces like the Lost World or Raiders of the Lost Arc. But you certainly enjoy the story of a man in the wilderness. This is going to be a big hit because it is an adventure storiy. You will love the hour and a half you spend with Rock, Dalton, Susan, Smity and Dr. Klein. The real world won't matter for a while

The Impact

While the Bigfoot Chronicles is a work of fiction, it is based on many true accounts of this super natural force. Viewers will enjoy the stories of Bigfoot and be more open and appreciative of the mysteries of nature. One of the goals of the Bigfoot Chronicles is to give the viewer an adventure in the woods for a couple of hours of fun and adventured. And you just may have the pants scared right off of you.

Recently, another Bigfoot film project popped up on our radar and this one is just getting started. The film "Hominoid Hunters - Truth in the Mountain" as it is currently called, is a documentary that will take place in Mammoth Lakes, CA. With a funding goal of $4,000 needed to get the project going, it will be produced by Bedroom Ghost Films, who are believers in the "Intervention Theory".

Comments

  1. I followed the Indiegogo to check out Monson's request. Sorry, but I can't risk my cash with a potential control freak. Monson couldn't bother to enlist help/input from Mom, his wife or few friends to proof-read his request? That's either arrogance or stupidity in action as he courts investors.

  2. I've always wondered, why we've never seen the Fred Beck story from the Ape Canyon cabin incident and the Albert Ostman case on the big screen. Two exciting Bigfoot classics and both probably real too, it's odd they were never put to reel by Hollywood filmmakers.
