  1. many of the speakers are people we have been waiting to here from on the "Study" for some time..and just a few weeks away.
As I recall last Fall, when the conference was announced, that Dr. Ketchum indicated she wouldn't go if the study was not yet published? Or was that a comment/rumor? LOL - of course she can't present if not published (and still in line to be published)...so..... maybe this week we shall have a peer-reviewed paper?

    1. Hey apehuman...long time, no see! Did you hear/see anything about a supposed recent statement Ramey made...something like: "hate it when people reject something they know nothing about"? I saw something on the DK thread over at BFF.

    2. I am taking 10 to 1 bets that Ketchum will pull out of this conference a day or two before it happens.

    1. LOL...do you think Shawn will be roasted for censorship if he removes five of your comments?! I wish a phone was my excuse for my typos! But, you point is made....psych studies show that for the uneducated just making a statement three times (w/o supporting explanation) does more to persuade than explaining! That should do it huh?

  8. I am so envious of the folks here that live in the PNW and will get to attend The Bigfoot Conference of the year. What a lineup. I so wish we could get them all together here in the midwest soon. At least Bob Gimlin and Dr. John Bindernagle will make Ohio appearances this spring. I hope there is a video of this conference Mr. Cantrell and I would be most happy to purchase it.

  9. I believe they do plan to put it on video, and anyway there'll be lots of press and TV people if there's any Ketchum paper out or coming.

  10. That is an awesome gathering of names, close to as good as it gets today. Others not present here but supporting the stand that these beings are not apes would be Igor Burtsev, Peter Byrne I think, Bob Morgan and if I'm not mistaken John Bindernagel now as well.

  11. I am registered for this but have heard lots of different things about some of the organizers. I am undecided if I will go. Anyone else going?

And, who knows if all the slated "speakers" will indeed show up. I would faint if Ketchum actually made an appearance. I don't see how she can.... I mean, she can't/won't talk to anything except innuendo about the supposed publication of her paper. Gimlim would be cool to meet for sure and Paulides, Meldrum, Moorehead, Nelson and Randles would be worth it, I guess.

    1. Takes all kinds, SasGirl, and isn't it always a pleasure when your opinion IMPROVES after you've actually spent time with somebody? What's to lose by going?

    2. SasGirl definitely go. I'd give anything if I could travel there. You can always meander around if the particular program you are in at the moment doesn't hold your attention.

I would love to hear the so many of those speakers, Scott Nelson, David Paulides, Melba Ketchum,Derek Randles and the others.

You can come back and share your experience with us too.

  12. Ketchum wont be there talking about sasquatch DNA, as she is not allowed to talk about it, from my understanding.

Hopefully gimlin will put his hands in the air and admit the hoax, although thats quite unlikely.

Im sure there will be lots of nice items to purchase from the speakers.

  13. Ketchum could be going to talk up her BF Protection group.

  14. I have a question, would they use their presentation at the conference to reveal the results of the DNA study?

    1. Would be cool wouldn't it, but it all depends on when the paper is released. It will be though and it will prove Sasquatches exist mark these words, this is it as they say.

  15. Now I'm going to step on some toes....After listening to Thom promote this thing over and over for the last 2 weeks. I can't help but think he's got to be making a good lick here. On one of the blogtalk shows he talked about how he'd been wakened up on 3 separate occasions, thinking of how this may be the time that Dr. Ketchum may break the news and results of her study. He rally did sound as if he were trying to wax, evangelical with this remark.
Then I realize that almost all of the info for this conference was being listed on the same site he uses to sell his fictitious book on Bigfoot. Something like Encounter on Ruby Ridge or something like that.
At any rate I apologize for what I said before. I think this guy does consider himself a evangelist of Bigfoot. And this conference is his call to church.
