FB/FB Explains Sasquatch's Key Role In The Development of Mankind

The Facebook Find Bigfoot guys believe Bigfoots are successful creatures and are sparsely populated in North American forests. They also believe that there are at least 70 real (authenticated) Bigfoot videos filmed by normal folks and researchers. They claimed to have reviewed over 25,000 videos.

On their Facebook page, they have a fan base of over 21,000 people consisting of witnesses, researchers, and dedicated fans. Although they believe that there is a large population of Bigfoots, their goal is not about trying to prove the existence of Bigfoot. FB/FB is mostly interested in "how they act and their morphology".

Here's a video from last year describing the "Morphology of a Sasquatch".

  1. If these guys want to be taken seriously, the first thing FB/FB needs to do is find someone who can actually read the script without stammering every other line.

  2. Speculation on evolutionary processes and how they relate to imagined facts about Sasquatches by amateurs is too much to endure, worse than imagined videos of Bigfoots.

  3. But for crying out loud, this is so utterly absurd I don´t know where to start. Intelligent life first appeared in America...that is what they want to say. Why is not the study of Sasquatch accepted by scientific communities? If this is the study of Sasquatch then no wonder. It is easy to make outlandish claims if you don´t have to back them up.

  6. Great video, reminds me of when Mel Gibson made a film about William Wallace and called it Braveheart. Oscar winning film, but factually almost entirely bullsh#t.

  7. I know he justifies a 'thought experiment' upfront, but this is nothing more than wild speculation without a specific, scientifically falsifiable prediction. He ought to conclude with something like...."Evidence in support can be found by DNA analysis showing....."

Also, he ought to give alternative explanations for existing evidence that refutes his hypothesis.

Entertaining, but a long way from science.

    1. The closest thing this guy gets to science is listening to his Thomas Dolby Greatest Hits CD.

  9. As having a Masters of Biological Anthropology from a respected Canadian institution, I do know about our issues in the fossil record and how sketchy our current scientifically approved "heritage" all is. It is not right, and anthropologists know that. Hence why we are working towards better ideas. Current anthropological views, especially ones disseminated to the public is all theory, just as this one is. A theory. Lucy does have major issues as less than 20% of her remains were found. I have heard Professors talk about the potential based on morphological features that Orangutans are closer to us. Though this is some quick presentation and done by what I am assuming to be an amateur Sasquatch hunter it does have some potential merits. Of course all of it has to be completely discounted as in no way is it scientific, its just some dudes theory. HOWEVER he does seem to be potentially poking in the general right direction.
