SnowWalkerPrime Interviews Fraud Standing
In this video, we're pretty confident that SnowWalkerPrime is actually referring Todd Standing. Since SnowWalkerPrime believes Standing is just another hoaxer, he prefers to call him Fraud Standing instead.
For those not familiar with Todd Standing, he's the Bigfoot Hunter from Canada who claims to know about a secret valley where he believes a group of Bigfoots are living. According to Todd, the natives called the place Sylvanic and it's located between Kootenay National Park and Banff. In one dangerous expedition to Sylvanic, Standing defied death and returned with captured images of Bigfoots.

ReplyDeleteDitto!!! That was hysterical. We have to keep some humor going here. Shawn - keep them coming! I haven't found another site similar that posts the serious stuff along with the silly. Helps keep perspective. For those of you who want all seriousness all the time - there are plenty of other sites to peruse.

Maybe a fraud, who really knows. I will give credit where credit is due IMO. At least the guy is out in the elements doing something. It is hard for me to believe that someone would invest so much time in hoaxing something. I understand the personal gain {money} and all, but it appears at least an effort is being made. At what, I have not decided yet. I like the picture though. It is definitively not a mainstream bigfoot picture.

DeleteHe is not releasing his videos to science, nor does he seem to be pushing them with the proper authorities as he claims he wants them protected by the Canadian Government.
Instead he seems to use the media as a cheap way to advertise by releasing a clip. Then you go to his page and he uses more enticements by showing still shots in this little mock documentary he has on his page.
He goes on to say how it is imperative that you help him get these animals protected and he will send YOU a video for your donation.
Th money he is making off these videos most likely far outweighs the effort. You give him money and he truly does give you vids of these "Animals".. and he is not lying either. You put a spiked collar and drum sticks on these things and you have "Animal"!... And cookie monster, and grover and Fozzy and Gonzo peaking from behind rocks and trees.

ReplyDeleteIf I don't trust what a lot of BFers say about their BF expereinces, I trust EVEN LESS what they say about each other.
Are you struggling for decent material?
You could try stories from more credible sources.
And who, exactly, do you consider to be a more credible source than a BF field researcher and biologist (SWP)? Just curious....

I am a member of Ohio Bigfoot Hunters Group and we post your threads all the time but their getting low ratings and not many comments. Please post some good stuff on your field researchers that are getting some honest work done.

DeleteNo, the first poster has a good point. Shawn's site was rewarded by some "fights" in that it grew, but those fights were about top players/data.
DeleteIt does not translate to the general mess of public BFers all claiming successes or that other Bfers are hoaxers and methheads, then I sure don't care because they are so often poorly educated/childish and it shows. No fun, or interest, pointing out the obvious and their attacks undermine their own credibility so I don't even read or listen beyond those attacks.

ReplyDeletePlease don't drag this site into this, this site rocks. It just presents the stories/videos/rants/interviews/whatever without much opinion of the owner's own. It's for us to judge. And I judge Fraud Standing based on his released photos and videos of high-school film project crap.

ReplyDeleteI think some people are bothered by SnowWalker because he is holding up a mirror to this community and some of it's oddballs, and they don't like the truth being reflected back at them. The only people he is ridiculing are the ones who deserve it for their shenanigans, but for some inexplicable reason these same folks are usually taken seriously by much of the community. Are we so afraid of being laughed at that we can't laugh at ourselves?
It's about time someone is willing to show how ridiculous some of these people and their claims are. That he does so with humor is even better.
