On History Channel Tonight: Aliens And Bigfoot
Thank goodness it's Friday again. Since the season Gold Rush Alaska ended, we haven't had much to look forward to on Friday nights-- until today. Tonight at 9 PM Central on the H2 History Channel, a new episode of Ancient Aliens will be airing about aliens and Bigfoot. This episode is only available on the H2 Channel though, so you might want to check your TV guide to see if you have the channel.
If you have H2, watch it or record the episode with your DVR, because you do not want to miss the guy with the crazy looking hair! (Is he still on TV?) :
People on every continent have claimed to see the footprints of Bigfoot. And ancient myths and legends speak of an ape-like giant stalking the earth. What if, as Ancient Astronaut theorists believe, there is evidence to connect Bigfoot with an alien species that once visited Earth in the distant past?

ReplyDeleteThey have improved the depth somewhat this year. There is no other show on weekly that tours so many ruins in such beautiful cinematography and considers such fundamental questions as where we came from.
Right or wrong it is fun. Adding Bigfoot will make tonight's super cool.

ReplyDeleteI have to admit I enjoyed the show, even knowing when the underlying info was (IMO) bad, but that would take a very long comment to discuss and they are doing that in BFF.
I am responding to the comment above about how Bfers will handle the UFOers:
Scientific method is the modern human's procedure to reach conclusions about what we agree is "reality." The method of experiment/results allows another human to duplcate the effort and arrive at similar conclusions. That is our agreed to "reality" as science.
The extrinsic evidence of BFs that can be gathered and examined within the boundaries of scientific method is so limited. But, combined it suggests a creature, with some similarites to us, does exist.
What BF researchers "know" beyond that varies but generally goes much further. Those individual ezperiences with BFs that can't be tested or duplicated aren't necessarily invalid, we just can't get them on the same "page of reality" under the scientific method. With proper study these questions/issues for the majority of us can be answered.
It doesn't much matter to science what any individual BFer feels or concludes about their experiences, if they are unable to design an experiment to test those ideas.
So, those BFers who claim psyhic or alien BFs aren't much differnt than those who suggest a BF that is aggressive and animalistic (or peaceful and shy), in that neither can demonstrate their claims with scientific method.
Just like a scientist can't demonstrate their belief in God as true reality, or eternal life, and so on. Psychic abilities? Universities are making serious inquiries into this ability in humans, experimental design is difficult.
I don't think too many BFers, versed in scientific method, worry too much about those claims "beyond" except maybe to inform their own field experiments?

ReplyDeleteI worked for Nasa from 1971-93 I had many good friends that spoke with me and shared evidence of alien craft filmed from orbit. These pictures my friend placed in my lap were heading to the group that air brushes all objects from photographs considered sona non grata, including craft and structures on the moon and Mars. Believe me the Aliens aren't hiding from us, Nasa is hiding them. Take this as you may but the evidence is there in front of the public everyday filmed by every day people all over the world. But the Gov and media have you laughing this off everytime they report on it. But if you have access to expensive IR scopes and look into the heavens at night I guarantee you will see things that will totally freak you out. Nasa says everything in space are airlines and satelites. Nasa is working on the rules laid down by the Robertson Panel in late 1953 "There would be mass hysteria, Americans could not handle this right now, we must slowly roll this info out " if you have noticed over the past 10 years that TV is saturated with UFO. Aliens, Bigfoot, Mega Disasters all in the preparation of the public to not freakout and run amuck in the streets when all this is laid on the feet of the world over the next 18 months. Bigfoot is first on the block !

DeleteI believe humans could handle it if the secret agencies with the government intelligence groups and Nasa came clean. The reasons they don't are many but they want all the knowledge they have gathered for themselves. Remember Eisenhowers' farewell address to "Beware of the military industrial complex". Jimmy Carter during his campaign run promised to get to' the bottom of UFOs as he had witnessed one or more during his naval career. Shortly after taking office he had a meeting with the powers in the know and never said another word. I seriously doubt they are going to release their knowledge in the next 18 months or even in my lifetime, but it would be welcome by me.
DeleteI do not know the extent or even if there is a Bigfoot cover up, but it would not surprise me at all. I have heard from some pretty good sources that they have some really good night films of them out at Edwards Air Force Base.
I do know this- if I happened to hit one by accident with a vehicle, the last people I would call would be the local police agency.

Still they're saying it, why? To prepare us I suppose, while they knew all along of course. I've even seen odd stuff in the night sky, lots of people have and it's happening all the time.
Go out on starry nights, good chance you'll see something other than satellites on the move. It's also interesting how they're called NASA, sounds a bit like Nazi. Remember von Braun and all his knowledge?

I have always found this topic confusing. If humans see UFO's and stop to look it would make sense that Bigfoot would also stop and examine what is out of the ordinary for them as well.

That makes sense, yes. One old theory I remember reading somewhere, though I've never seen it anywhere again cool as it is, Bigfoots are alien watchdogs or pets if you will placed here once upon a time left behind to spy on us. Avoid any contact if possible but otherwise just observe our species, probably all bullshit of course, but not a bad take on an alien angle.

People did not work 8-hour days in times long ago. When the harvests were good people had time to make things we call artistic. They had time for big projects. And they were used to really hard work.
