New Footage: Bigfoot Sighting In Idaho

This video was uploaded by Lukeking327 on March 13, 2012. According to the uploader, the footage shows "a large shady creature which appears to be a Bigfoot, is spotted walking through the trees across a canyon."

"We never really got a good look but at first we saw what we thought was a person walking across the canyon but after looking at it for a second it looked more and more not human," says Lukeking327.

This is the only video this person has uploaded and it's posted as a video response to another Bigfoot video from Aug 21, 2009 labeled, "INCREDIBLE BIGFOOT SIGHTING CAUGHT ON TAPE".

  4. As usual... inconclusive. Video quality/focal range too poor to discern anything beyond a reasonable doubt. Ah, but let the Speculation Mayhem Begin!

  5. To short of a video. Bears are in suppose to be in their dens right now, but they do not sleep all winter, they actually do roam around areas near their dens. Probably a bear.

    1. Why do you comment on stuff? You know nothing about what you speak. Your just another armchair skeptic. Just by your comments its 100 percent obvious you have little to know outdoor experience or experience trying to tape wildlife. Yet you constantly comment on others and immediately everything is a fake. A smart person who knows what they are talking about here would say, its inconclusive. Thats all you can tell. Their is nothing that resembles a hoax at all because their isnt enough to even tell what were looking at. Yet to you its probably a hoax. Its people like you who are the problem with this field. If erickson put out his footage tomorrow you and the other cronies would be picking it apart saying this cant be real, yotta yotta yotta, when you have no ideal whatsoever. Your just guessing. but if your not willing to do the work, get out in the field, investigate these sightings, talk to the people who saw them, then you have no need to comment at all. Listening to you, you must think your an expert on this animal, yet infact its very funny because you dont know anything about it. If you ever get to the point to where you know what your talking about then post again. But until then we could do without your lame attempts to prove something to yourself and others.

    2. I'm actually curious as to why you come down so hard on Autumn's comments and position yourself as someone who actually is making a difference in this subject. Because you post under Anonymous, you sound like you have ulterior motives through your criticism. Instead of sounding like a critical douchebag, why don't you try and offer some on the level rebuttal of her critiques and engage in dialogue. If you have so much experience, then you have a lot to offer. Your whole post above is a waste of space that should have been filled with your ideas....Just saying.

...Or are you just hatin' cause Autumn is HOT!!!

    4. I was just going to write as a scrolled down and founds Autumn post.

      Absolutly on two legs.

Absolutly fake because you never would have noticed a black object moving through those trees,
      AT THAT DISTANCE!!!
      ITS A SET UP.

NEXT YOU'LL PROBABLY FIND A TEENAGER SNOWBOARDING THAT HILL IN A GORILLA COSTUME.

IF ANON, YOUR GOING TO TELL PEOPLE WHATS UP, MAN UP AND POST YOUR NAME.

    5. I see all sides to this... Autumnforest found it odd that the camera guy zoomed from a long distance. However the was stating her opinion and did so with tact. It wasn't as if she was one of those Anom's who post stuff just to get a rise "It's fake you are all idiots!".

But... The camera man could have saw it before it entered the brush. (Black on white would be easily noticed) OR maybe he was zooming into the movement of the trees/brush to see what was doing it.

The only thing inconclusive is if it were a guy in a suit or not. But conclusively, it was not natural. Bears do not step like that on two legs. they sort of shuffle taking little baby steps.

Also notice that there is a bare spot on the hill. The camera man could have seen it when it was there then by the time he zoomed, it was in the wood-line.

      Delete
    6. I think the issue of whether the camera man saw the subject or not is irrelevant in this case. Anyone who has spent any substantial amount of time in the woods knows that movement is easily picked up by the human eye. I have spotted wild game from across a ridge with just my naked eye. When you are setting in the woods simply watching and observing, any movement is easily detected. The trees and rocks are constant, moving objects are easy to spot because of this. Color really means nothing, it is the movement itself that causes an attentive person to focus on the object. I have spotted white-tailed deer walking through brush and I could not really "make out" any features other than the fact that a moving object could be seen.

I have no idea whether this video is real/fake, etc. but as a hunter for most of my entire 42 years of life, the idea of this video being a hoax based on the idea that the camera person panned toward the woodline in inaccurate. (IMHO)

  9. According to lukeking he says we saw something walking across the canyon and at first thought it was a human. The more they looked at it the less it looked human. Thats all we know for now.

To me it does not look like a bear as it appears to be moving on two feet and then turns into the trees. To me it seems large and a possibility.

  13. I have a video very simulacra to this I shot in the blue mountains of walla walla. We were tracking what we believe to be 2 sasquatch. I was on a logging road when I felt like something was watching us. I turned around, zoomed in the side of the hill above the road and caught a large dark object move behind some bushes. It appears to move to the side upright. I turned back to my friends that were further up the road to get their attention taking the. Camera off the spot. Spun back around and found the area but nothing moving around. Right the. It started pouring rain and we left. Came back the next day to get comparison video. We found 5 pounds of scat, looked like horse droppings, not bear. No sign of bear track or horse. Hopefully I will be able to upload it someday as its on 8mm video. For most it would be a rather good blobsquatch video.

  15. 360p in 2012. Is there no one in the US who can shoot and display in HD??? Why do I have to go to Australian and Canadian channels to see HD video? Oh there are a couple US BFers who shoot in HD, but the vast majority seem to be stuck back on John Waters smell-o-vision. I'd rather see beautiful forests with no Sasquatches than blobs. If I want to see blobs I'll take off my glasses.

That said, seems like a LOT of effort to hoax 16 seconds of video since the subject is WAY up on a ridgeline. You'd have to pay me big $$$$ to climb up there, don a monkey suit, and walk a few steps thru brush. Humans are way too lazy: hoax not logical. But black blob is blob. There is no evidence of how long critter was walking, only word of unknown poster. A bear could walk that long. Inconclusive at best. But since I live in WA and we are right next door to Idaho, my guess is that it the rare mono-black striped spud-zebra. meh...

    1. I will say anything is possible and we just don't know, but let me add this.

I make my statement about it being to far in the first second, thats a long way to see that. hell, we don't see it well after he zoomed.

If i had filmed what I thought was a squath in the "SNOW", I would have damn sure hiked over there and filmed some
      "for sure" tracks.
      These guys didn't do that!

Maybe to scared, but I say Hoax!

      Delete
    2. Well if it is a hoax I say we should commend them because it just isn't "over there" - look at the opening shot... it's over there and waaayyyyy the heck up there. To climb up that snow-covered steep incline with a monkey suit, to coordinate via walkie-talkies (cell just doesn't work there), just to capture a few frames of blurry video, wow... that's above and beyond in the art of hoaxing. That's serious dedication. Or insanity.

No, I still think it's a spud-zebra; look at that opening shot - how would he even see it without the zoom? The squeal of pride gave away the location. It's a little known fact that they taught mountain goats everything they know but did you ever hear of a spud zebra? NO... mountain goats get take all the credit. So when the spud-zebra reaches the top it squeals in delight to show off its climbing prowess. Obviously the video dude heard the squeal and zoomed on the location. It sorta sounds like a Norwegian Blue.

Dave from WA... cranky and tired. You may now return to conventional reason.

    3. Okay aside from the Spud-Zebra thing, He has a point Leon. That thing was probably an hour and a half- three hours trek if not more by foot through that kind of terrain. If I took that vid, I don't think I would be putting my self through all of that just to film footprints that people would just as easily say "Fake" at.

I remember back in 94 I was deployed to McCall Idaho to fight forest fires. There was one occasion where we had to be airlifted to a certain area because of the terrain. The Blckhawk set us down on a peak that was a perfect LZ and bare of any trees. The peak we were going to was in sight but we were set down as close as the helicopters could get us. At first I thought "This will be an easy day." because normally we would ride in trucks down logging roads then march for hours until we reached the area they wanted us to cut firebreaks into.

Long story short, it took us five hours to go down the peak we were on and march up to where we were going. It wasn't straight down and straight up like I thought it would be. It was winding down this way, zizgzagging back up that way then once in the valley walking three miles along a creek to find a place to cross it, then once we actually got on the actual hill (there were several times we thought we were going up to the peak only to find we were on a smaller hill and going down again)it was not just straight up..(it was steeper than it looked) it was corkscrewing around it.

Then it was two hours of cutting the line and right back the way we came. That "easy day" ended up being the only day we did not return to base-camp before sundown.

uhhh why am I telling you all this??? Oh yeah lol That hill was probably a lot farther then it looked.. Sorry I was reminiscing and got carried away lol

  18. What is all that crap on the lens? It can be seen as he's zooming in.

  19. And lets not forget.......not all people are crazy about bigfoot! Most people could care less, dont believe and would not be taking a high def camera with them.................except for bigfooters. Most people might have a cell phone on them and that would be it. This seems like a total real scenario for a person who was out for a hike......or whatever, who doesn't believe, or that doesnt live and breath bigfoot.

If this was an eyewitness account that was reported to the BFRO, everybody would give this guy some credibility. But because he saw something, and he realized it didnt look like a bear, so he thought to get out hi camera and zoom to the spot he was seeing it, he is now a hoaxer?

And for the footprints, I would go and check to see, but I believe in sasquatch and spend a lot of time researching bigfoot.

If it was someone whos experience with bigfoot is harry and the hendersons, they would still not be curious enough to go and check it out, or they may be scared because this "monster" could actually be real and I am not going up there.

  20. This is such bs.. Every Fing camera these days has at least 720p recording abilities.. Yet all these dumbass clips are brutal quality..

Maybe someone should alert people searching for bigfoot to get up on their technology instead of using space age crap

    1. Not everyone is looking for bigfoot! Many still dont believe! And not everyone has a 720p video recorder!

I have many friends that hike, and actually hike in Golden Ears Povincial Park, a supposed Sasquatch habituation site, they may bring a camera, but it wont be in their hand, probably in their backpack. They are not looking for bigfoot, let alone believe in them. They are out hiking and would never expect in million years to have such an encounter.

Be real, there are not that many peope that go out and hunt or track for bigfoot.

    2. You are right. I've spent a lot of time at Mt Rainier over the last 24 years; back in the late '90s there were not supposed to be any wolves in Rainier. Yet I saw one. Had a nice 35mm camera then too. But I wasn't expecting to see anything special and the camera was in my backpack. By the time I got it out, the wolf was gone. So I'll give the poster a pass on only capturing a few frames.

But a couple things here... zoom seems too powerful for a smartphone so think that is a digital camera and likely capable of higher resolution. Or it could be that he just didn't post in HD.

But lets say it is just a cell. If I got home, and saw that I only had a few frames of something difficult to describe, I wouldn't post the video as "Bigfoot sighting in Idaho", but rather "Possible Bigfoot Sighting..." or "Can you Help Identify this Animal?" I don't think it is a hoax for reasons stated earlier, I just can't tell what it is or isn't and I gots a primo display.

    1. I looked for this and it did not seem to drop on all fours to me. Instead it seemed to drop into a depression of some kind. But regardless bears do not walk like that when they are on two feet. Besides the stride, it's swinging it's arms out.

  22. I am the person who filmed this video, I was searching the video on google to see what came up and found this. I am not a Bigfoot researcher or anything, I don't even have an opinion on Bigfoot. To respond to some comments and hopefully answer some questions, we initially saw the figure from a different angle where it was a little easier to see. The way it walked and how easily it traversed through the deep snow seemed somewhat unorthodox. I got my camera (which I was using for other things, not searching for Bigfoot) out of my jacket and filmed until it went out of sight, thinking this could possibly be a Bigfoot. How did I zoom in on it? Most video cameras have view finders, and I use this camera quite often and I know how to point and shoot, its simply not that difficult when you're in a fairly open area. Also, its a 4 or 5 year old camera, sorry I didn't have an expensive hd quality camera. And, we did go up there to look for tracks. It was extremely steep down the canyon and up the other side, not to mention the 2 feet of snow covering the ground. We did find tracks. Not being a Bigfoot researcher I didn't think to video the tracks. But I am a hunter and know any track out there, and this seemed legit. If it was somebody up there performing a hoax, they went to new extremes to try and fool somebody else. It took us about an hour to get to where we saw it, and we're in shape people and it had us huffing and puffing. I don't know what it was, but it seems very unlikely to have been a human. And it definitely was not a bear. I hunt bears, know what to look for in a bear, and it's arms were way too long in proportion to its body to be a bear

There is no way that's more than an hour trek. Three hours? That isn't some huge mountain peak miles across a valley. A kilometer at best.
