New Footage: February 11 Bigfoot Sighting BC
A YouTube user named duckster1834 in British Columbia uploaded this video today showing a dark figure running behind some trees in the snow. According to the uploader, the figure was filmed in the dark after hearing strange vocalizations in the woods.
"What I saw with my camera in one hand and flashlight in the other I can only indentify as a bigfoot," wrote duckster1834.

I hate it just cuts out. It appears he was at least going after the creature but then the camera turns off. Oh well.

ReplyDeleteI am wondering why a human,who is at a complete disadvantage against predators,would run after something in the forest,and at night.
The uploader of the video hasn't given any significant story either.
It screams hoax to me,but it's inconclusive at best.
Everyone always says it's got to be a hoax! Open your mind people! You know, I bet that more times than not the videos that are always claimed to be hoaxes are real.

You have to always start with the assumption that every video is a hoax, and the burden of proof for the validity rests with the photographer. The videos are probably only slightly more reliable than eye witness testimony. What needs to be produced is video evidence, post-incident video investigation with point of reference and scale, physical evidence, and if lucky viable DNA samples. A video alone is nothing more than some cute photos. Couple a video with an incident report, physical evidence such as footprints, and some DNA evidence, and you might have a plausible story. Until then, you default to hoax.

DeleteI completely understand your position and with the proliferation of video devices and ease with which bunk videos are uploaded to YouTube, there is always a shadow of doubt. You then refer to other evidence that is necessary to corroborate the videos. The witness accounts, tracks and other spore are not so easy for the general public to hoax. This is why I tend to look at the THAT available evidence and somewhat ignore suspicious photos and videos... It's almost as if we shouldn't even try to capture them on video. Nobody will believe it.

Why doesn't the video have any of the sounds on it? And why does it just cut off? It would of been a person for all this video showed, was way to dark to see anything even with the bit of light the flash light put out, would of thought his camera would of had night shot on it, I think it fake. Just my opinion. ty

wouldnt there have been foot prints in the snow !? pretty sure you could take that camera over to where you saw it walking and the tracks would be there. im tired of the lame videos.
