Bigfoot Hunting Airship Developed By Falcon Project Now Funded, First Order Of Business: Hunt Down Suspected Killer Hiding In Mountains

St. George resident, William Barnes, was looking for investors to fund the Falcon Project. When properly funded, they would attempt to capture footage of Bigfoot with an aerial camera mounted on a remote-controlled airship. The airship would be able to maneuver with the kind of precision necessary to track a fast-moving animal.

William's dream of being able to spy on suspected Bigfoots using airships finally came true on Monday.

On the Project's Facebook page, Jason Valenti announced the funding:

The Falcon project is funded as of today, $200,000,,,,,,,,,,and we will have live steam from the field 7 nights a week, (:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the founder William Barnes

With this new influx of cash, they've volunteered to partake in the search for a suspected killer who has been hiding in the mountains of Southern Utah. Here's the update on their website:

The Falcon Project’s maiden airship voyage will be to hunt down a suspected killer who has been hiding in the mountains of Southern Utah for several years.  Along with helping local authorities track down this criminal, this is also a trial run for the Falcon Project’s airship.  A complete analysis of the airship’s movement, flight time, and camera feed will be logged along with any technical problems.  This information will be used to better streamline the performance of the airship when the Falcon Project begins their search for Bigfoot/Sasquatch.
This undated photo provided by the Iron County Sheriff's Office shows , a remote camp littered with supplies and trash in the southern Utah wildness near Zion National Park. Authorities believe the camp was left behind by a suspect in more than two dozen burglaries of mountain cabins over an area of roughly 1,000 square miles for the past five years. More info on the Falcon Project:

The Falcon Project is a completely new and innovative approach to Hominoid research. No other organizations have attempted this type of airborne strategy.

The Patterson film, which is the most famous and clear footage ever obtained of a Hominoid, is still highly sought, and the use of it in projects (ie., reprinting for publications, documentaries, etc.) still fetches a fair price.  It has been speculated that if another film as good as or better than the Patterson film ever came into existence (and we feel certain that The Falcon Project can obtain such a film) it would mean an almost instantaneous windfall in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Since there have been over 40 years of active field research by many different organizations, the knowledge and information gained by them has led us to conclude that approaching the search from the air will give us advantages that we’ve never had before. Here are some reasons why we believe that we have an advantage greater than any available to researchers in the past;

A new, nearly silent, never-before-used technology that eliminates the type of ground noise that humans create (which we expect the Hominoids are used to and avoid).  The dual airship is equipped with a proprietary propulsion system that can carry the airship at speeds of 35-45 mph and maneuver with the kind of precision necessary to track a fast-moving animal.  From what research suggests, everything that we have done on the ground has been ineffective in getting close to them;  therefore a perspective from the sky, with an imaging platform to zoom in on them quickly and track their position, seems to be the most logical way for us to pursue motion picture evidence.  We believe that this ground-breaking technology will give us the element of surprise in catching Hominoids on film.  A dual airship can track a Hominoid even if it is running at top speed or climbing a mountain.  A human on foot cannot.

Further, the dual airship will provide the best chance at obtaining the long-awaited steady camera that has, as yet, been missing from ALL films of Hominoids in existence, because our dual airship will be fitted with a gyro to provide image stabilization.

The gyro will house state of the art equipment that can view and film in infrared, thermal imaging and High Definition.  We will also be employing new technologies that utilize CO2 identification and unnatural pattern recognition. Our advanced video and audio equipment will allow us to track Hominoids 24 hours a day.

We will also employ the use of an Infra-sound Recorder. This is a very exciting new technology in and of itself, as there is no conclusive evidence that Hominoids use infra-sound, but may help identify if they are equipped with such means.

With a combined 50+ years of experience, we are a science-oriented team that is much more interested in securing evidence of hominoids than in making money off “just another film”. All the members of the management team have had 1st-hand, up-close sightings of Hominoids and are driven by scientific revelation, so you may rest assured that they are motivated to use the funding wisely. While we are aware that this project has the potential to produce a significant amount of money when it comes time to air the footage we obtain, what drives the researchers, management team and interns is the discovery and proving of the Hominoids’ existence. We believe that our scientific understanding of what Hominoids are and how we are related to them will be so far-reaching, that we can only speculate about the full ramifications of such a discovery.

  1. I will believe it when i see it,i hope its all true this time.seems like they have been talking about it long enough, its time to build good luck to you all,

  2. Wonder how long it will take to build? The good news is this piece of technology can have benefits beyond sasquatch as well. Search and rescue, missing persons, and just like the maiden voyage locating criminals. All the morons on COPS are screwed and it can also find Todd Standing next time he gets lost. LOL Good luck guys!!!

  3. They have been talking about this for a while and getting funding testimony to their tenacity. Using in Utah will be a great amiden test. Interesting approach looking forward to results.

  4. Bigfoot has moss in his hair that will defy detection. It works like this:

    1) Bigfoot walks around with moss on his north side.

    2) Detection plane flies over.

    3) Plane scans area.

    4) Scans BOUNCE off Bigfoot because of moss.

    5) Pilot says, "no Bigfoot here."

    6) Bigfoot wins (again.)

Don't try to outwit Bigfoot. God gave him everything he needs to hide and stay hid.

    1. How would nature know which side of Bigfoot is north? This doesn't ring true.

So you can't beleive any of the sightings or other evidence then. So why do you beleive...if you do?

  6. This is not a bad idea. I do think we will be looking at a 5 minute delay and if anything should be viewed the footage will immediately be cut and spliced into oblivion. Then they can say they have the difinitive proof (locked in a vault awaiting large sum of $$$) and the bigfoot community can implode by attacking each other. I am on the outside and do enjoy watching and reading all the infighting between groups. It discredits anybody involved in the search for bigfoot. But, thats what happens when $$ is tossed into what was formerly a hobby with the only clear winner in all of this being a booger (and that may be the best thing of all)

  7. I spoke to Bill Barnes last night, they are shooting for late June for a lift=off of the airship ! First stop mountains in Utah where they will help the police hunt down a killer hiding there.

    1. You may be right. So far it seems the bigfeet is far ahead in the game. My hunting partner 30 years ago was chased out of the woods along the Kentucky/Illinois border. He relayed the story to myself and I have never seen a person so scared (hair still stands up on his arms). He swears what he saw was the Kentucky Devil Monster and i have no reason to dis-believe. We both still enjoy hunting and in fact he has returned to the location to hunt with no further activity. I guess this is why I support using new technology as indicated in the article above. It is time to finally classify and verify this animals existance. My hunting partner has no doubt of the existance and I myself am 75%/25% pro bigfeet. Hell, any hunter knows that at times strange noises do occur and I myself have more than once had the feeling of being watched at 0430 hours while walking to a deer stand. Taken at face value I think this is a very good idea and I hope the blimp works.

  11. A guy named Chris says he saw a centaur-like creature while he saw a flying fish. He said it was black and had the body of a monkey and the back part of a horse. I saw something similar but it wasn't the centaur thing. it's similar in the way that it had a mythical look about it. it was like you hear about a regular Bigfoot looking, but it's legs had a backward bend in them, like a dog has. It also had what looked like curved inward horns on it's temple but that could have just been ears, because i didn't see ears part way down it's head. I was camping with two friends and they saw it to.in central CA. in the Stanislaus National forest, above Yosemite. not sure how far above in miles. We had a few beers each but were far from drunk, and it was at about 3 pm. It was scary and we all freaked a bit but only told some family members who thought we saw something else, and we probably did. Anybody know of an animal that could look like that? it was partly in the bushes so I could be way off. It didn't look like a deer or anything like that. It was kind of grey i think but maybe iot was the light that made it look grey. It didn't make any noise except for when it walked away and rustled the bushes. It was a bear probably. Any ideas?

    1. It's strange that you describe what you saw that way because I had a similar experience withing 60 mi. of yours (North of Stanislaus.) What I saw tantamount to Bigfoot with wings (I don't know if they were actuially wings, and it didn;t fly) ... and I did see the dog-like legs. And you're right: this also sounds like the crazy centaur legged creature mentioned in an earlier post. My experience was fleeting but I saw the legs and what looked like wings. It wasn't overly large like you hear sometimes about Bigfoot, it was more man sized, maybe 6 feet, darking hair, dark skin nnad bright (but not glowing) eyes. It shreiked but not at me, I dont know what it was calling out to but it didn't even see me. All i know is the sound of that shreik pierced through my body like a weird sound wave passing by and it actually gave me double vision and ringing ears. I went to the cops and told them, i reported it like it was a crime. ha ha, i didn't even think about how nuts i must have sounded. Anyway the policeman was very understanding and said that locals have reported a similar (but not identical) thing. he called it a central cali moth man. I'm sure it was a kind of Bigfoot though but that scream has got me wondering. I'm posting as anonymous because I don;t want to deal with the backlash. I'm not crazy.

    2. The thing I saw didn't have wings, at least I didn't see any, maybe they were folded. I've heard of the mothman but I just thought it was a movie with Richard Gere. The legs were the strangest thing, the way they were bent like that. It was probably just bears. Maybe the wings were two cubs or something. It didn't look like a bear but it probably was. Thanks for the input.

    3. It wasn't a bear. It had a flat face.

  13. This is very exciting for me because I have had a similar vision using military reconnaisance drones. I also wanted to have a network of recharge/refuel stations to extended range. I'm sure this method will work as it is proven on the battlefield. Bigfoot doesn't have radar or high tech detection devices that will keep him hidden from this vehicle. If he is there, he will be found from this because he will never know it was there. The best part about the project is how little effect it has on the forest itself. In science we understand that it is impossible to study an object without influencing or contaminating the specimen. This is approach is very hands off and actually inspired my name. I am very impressed that these guys have pulled it off.

  16. I have always thought that this was the best way to study BF's without harassing them or changing their behavior. I see this used in other areas of field biology, as well as, utilized for search and rescue, law enforcement, etc... Maybe not so glamorous, but how about locking in GPS coordinates every time a snow leopard (or something else that's near impossible to glimpse) "makes a squat". No need to trap or dart an animal for a very-basic health check! Just collect whatever samples once the subject has left the area.
Cool idea... and so much you could do with it, if it works as promised!

  17. Sasquatch lives in the forest under the canopy of trees. How on earth is a drone aircraft going to see a bigfoot? Thermal imaging cant see thru the canopy and what type of craft is going to fly under the canopy? Last I heard sasquatchs don't hang around in the open.

    1. I know you're probably trying to be funny, but I've heard that a Bigfoot craze is sweeping through the gay community. Gay men evidently feel a kinship toward it. I'm not trying to be a smart alec, I actually heard this. There are more gay Bigfooters every day, I mean they're out actively Bigfoot hunting, which I guess is pretty cool. The more the merrier.

There was a Bigfoot article in the Advocate, like over a year ago and the gays just embraced the idea of Sasquatch. Maybe it's because there are so many gay men in Nocal, I don't really know, but like I said, every one is welcome.

  19. Worried as I am by the potential for evil that this device has in the "wrong hands" (the usual suspects), if this is for real, then I'm eager to see what they come up with. This thing would have to be truly silent (no noise from onboard electronics, either).

  20. The "suspected" killer, is not suspected of killing anyone. He has broken into cabins and taken food and guns. He has not killed anyone.

  21. One thing they need to take into consideration is ultra/infrasonic noise. I was reading that infrasonic noise can cause feelings like you are being watched by something evil, so maybe BFs call in infrasonic noises.

  22. One tiny problem is the same people that support the project, also claim that there are only 6000 Bigfoot in the United States. Which means that there is one every 632 square miles on average. Since this balloon cannot fly over say 1000 ft above ground level otherwise it becomes a hazard for flying aircraft, their cameras are going to be covering a pretty tiny area of maybe 1000' x 1000' at a time. Assuming that they travel at 10 mph to not be going too fast, it will take 334 hours to cover 632 square miles with no overlap. At 4 hours per night, since FLIR is no good in the day time, it will take 83 nights to find one Bigfoot assuming he doesn't move around, is in a FLIR visible subdimension, and the flight crew is never within their standard telepathic range that could be perhaps 5 miles. I doubt that they could find 83 nights in an entire year, that has no wind and no bad weather. If just one Bigfoot gets wind of this scheme, and I can assure you that they already have, then it's game over because word spreads like wild fire.

When I was naive like these guys, and would hatch schemes while sitting in my living room, I became aware of a presence that would visit that room while I was thinking about those schemes. And all my schemes then fell flat on their face. Coincidence? I doubt it.

I predict a 100% chance of failure for this poorly conceived scheme that the Bigfoot already know about and they will remain completely invisible to all the electronic sensing equipment that can be carried on board.
