Maybe, but I have seen deer jump seven or eight feet straight up when hit by an arrow. This pic doesn't surprise me. He may have has his cam under his stand. But.....in this world we are in, who knows anymore what is real.

I grew up hunting in a hunting family and gave it up, along with a lot of what didn't pass the smell test for me.
ReplyDeleteI won't hunt deer, but if a hunter takes one legally and eats what he takes, it would be hypocritical of me to gripe. I eat meat. I've also been using deerskin on my jewelry lately. It's soft and beautiful.
On my mother's property lives a very large buck who has ruled the roost for four years or so. We've named him and everything. Killing him would be wrong because he's too habituated to people.
(Plus, I really love the big guy.)
BTW, if you're going to take a deer, it seems more "sportsmanlike" to do it with an arrow.
It would seem like a good thing if something titled Top Trail Cam pics didn't have, as it's first entry, a picture of a dead deer photoshopped into it. Take a look at the pic and let your mind draw a dotted line around the deer and think about it.

ReplyDeleteYou guys are stupid. It's obvious you've never been bowhunting. When deer are hit, they will jump straight up in the air a lot of the time. Don't comment on shit you know nothing about, it makes you look really ignorant.
