Strange eerie sounds in the woods are all the rage these days
What has been making the rounds on Facebook recently are these strange sounds recorded in the woods of Conklin, Alberta on January 12, 2012. The video shows some foresters looking up into the sky trying to figure out where the sounds were coming from.
We're not trying to pull a Matt-Moneymaker here, but could this be a squatch?
No other information was provided in the description of the video. However, some of the comments were interesting:
I heard the exact same noise in the summer time, I assumed it was coming from the train or Vale. It was very eerie!!!

Watch this video again and look at the wave patterns in the sky. That shows me where it is likely coming from. Probably some sort of space energy wave hitting the earth.

1. There is now internet access at the local looney bin.
2. Guerilla/viral marketing for a possible upcoming movie or event.

This video is from Colorado: "August 22, 2011. The sounds were captured by 2 hikers earlier in the day before the Colorado Earthquake. Does this have any link to the Virginia earthquake?"

ReplyDeleteIt seems the sounds in sky uploads rolling in from Jan 10 on, and it snowballs. I can't figure out why anyone would take the time to hoax anything (or post online), but it seems the general internet consensus is "fake." I can't tell. Interesting though anyway. I imagine the initial one, or what has started copycats if that's the case, was genuine? I am willing to believe two guys in forest fire gear heard that. But, I just can't, for the same reason I can't believe in Bigfoot. It has to be a bit better than this stuff.

Unless,that is, Jimi Hendrix reincarnated as a Bigfoot.
I doubt it is right but these sounds have been all the rage on ATS for the last year.

Agreed that the sound is unlikely to be a Wood Ape, but before you get too smug, please consider other cryptids as the source: the northern migration of the Mokele-Mbembe happens at this time every year.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a synthesizer. Sounds too loud and close to the camera to be a bigfoot or animal that can't be spotted.
ReplyDeleteI noticed some high voltage power lines in the Czech video which could be the source of the noise in that video. Did sound kind of electric.

ReplyDeleteI did some looking around.Video 1 and 3 sound similar to the Kiev sounds recorded in August.

ReplyDeleteColorado noises - regular, and therefore certainly of human origin. Target practice for the military?
ReplyDeleteCzech - Since it was so windy, I will propose that the noises were induced harmonics of the tunnel the person was standing in front of.
Alberta - My guess is an animal of some kind, but I can't say which.
I think it is the mating call of the mileamore bird. Its the bird that sticks his head in the ground and calls threw his ass and you can hear it a mile or more.
