Arizona Bigfoot Hunters Raising Money To Do One Month Investigation of 'Hot Zone' [Video]
The Mogollon Monster Hunters announced yesterday that they recently started a KickStarter.com fund. If they can raise enough funding, they're going to do a one month dedicated/intensive field research expedition into an area they call "the Hot Zone."
According to their website: "This will not be your 'TV-hyped Searching for Bigfoot hit and run event'. We are actually going to go there and 'dig in' using every trick we can muster to catch the Mogollon Monster on video and in photos."

The funding we receive will aquire the time, talent, equipment and resources necessary to conduct a 1 month dedicated field research expedition to locate and photograph the Bigfoot of Arizona. The expedition will be conducted in the "Hot Zone" of the Mogollon Rim by dedicated Bigfoot Researchers. The entire event will be chronicled by video and photos which will result in a DVD or DVD set to be marketed through commercial distributers.
Our introductory video gives an idea as to what we have been able to accomplish with non-professional equipment and resources and short exploration events, but we need dedicated researcher time, better equipment such as a FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera, night vision camera cababilities, and the resources (food/water, batteries, gas, etc) to support our efforts while in the field for the dedicated one month expediton.
Anything above our minimum funding will greatly enhance our ability to obtain superior results for our DVDs. Please be generous. Thank you.

DeleteI'm not sure if having one month in a place is going to cut it. I like the Kiltmaker's observation. Since I was a kid, I always thought ideal would be take a survivalist dude, parachute him into the forests of Washington State and let him eat the diet, live the lifestyle, become one with the BF gang and then maybe the gang might trust to get closer and adopt him. So far, our BF hunting is a lot like cops chasing a dude on the highway. It's unnecessarily intrusive, dangerous, messy, and going to cause the dude to go Kamikaze. If you chase something, it retreats even faster and with more determination. You want to infiltrate a gang, you live the life, earn the respect.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure most of these folks have regular jobs so taking an extended leave may not be feasible.
The group is making an attempt at long term study.Maybe if they have some luck,a lengthier follow up can be conducted.
I give them kudos for enthusiasm and drive.
If it is such a hot zone then why do they have nothing to show for it. This Mongollion Monster group is the biggest joke of a research group. I mean come on Mitch even lies about having a wife. There is no Susan Farns except inside Mitch's over-active imagination. Get ready for a DVD of blobsquatches.

ReplyDeleteSo much for Josh's suggestions and the Jane Goodall plan. If they plan to use every trick they can muster I'd say they could possibly drive the Bigfoot away.
Why take that risk? Would it be worth it?
Susan narrated the video, so she does exist. And if you are so good where is your photos? What are you doing other than complain and being vendictive?

I live in mesa az and am truly fascinated by all that is hidden and misunderstood about the world we, homo sapiens, live in.
