Robert Lindsay: "Clearly, Matt [Moneymaker] is jealous" [Bigfoot DNA]

Matt Moneymaker's comment yesterday about Dr. Melba Ketchum's Bigfoot DNA project was welcoming and at the same time disconcerting. Robert Lindsay claims that the BFRO, up until now, has gone out of their way to avoid talking about the DNA project.

"If you go to his forums, there has long been a ban, yes a ban of all things, on reporting on the results of the Ketchum and Erickson Projects, two of the biggest projects in the game for a long time now. Any threads on the topic were immediately locked, followed by snide remarks that Ketchum and Erickson had been promising people results for years with nothing to show for it," wrote Lindsay.

According to Lindsay, Moneymaker's latest statement about Dr. Ketchum seemed a little opportunistic.
Now that it looks like Ketchum may finally publish and publish well, he seems to be hitching his wagon tentatively to the Ketchum train for the ride. Opportunistically? Well, of course. We are seeing a lot of other folks in the game hitching their wagons to Ketchum’s cattle train for some time now.

Read what Robert Lindsay had to say about Matt's comment below:
Matt’s hypercompetitive nature has always made me sick. If you go to his forums, there has long been a ban, yes a ban of all things, on reporting on the results of the Ketchum and Erickson Projects, two of the biggest projects in the game for a long time now. Any threads on the topic were immediately locked, followed by snide remarks that Ketchum and Erickson had been promising people results for years with nothing to show for it.

Clearly, Matt is jealous. He’s another Bigfoot kook out to beat everyone else to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow at all costs. Ketchum and Erickson send his jealousy meter stratospheric.

This is one reason we have been attacked so seriously here, because we are seen as having the objective of somehow derailing her project. Of course it’s not true, but tell that to the nuts!

Matt does manage to get in a dig at Ketchum here. The main gist of the report was that Ketchum’s submission to Nature failed. That’s why he reported on Ketchum in the first place. She lost! Get it? Then he softens this dig by reporting that it’s good for the field after all. So Matt gets to have it both ways. He gets to dig at Ketchum for failing her submission, and at the same time he hitches to the train in case she succeeds after all.

  1. Very awesome observations! I totally agree. Matt isn't a bad guy, just a bit of a tool and that I don't think he's the brightest in the bunch, so it takes him a bit longer to figure out his path. Anyone who wasn't supporting Ketchum (if Ketchum has something of note to report) will look like they're not "in" on the newest BF info. People will be positioning themselves on Ketchum's research and they better hope they know how that research stands up because they can also fall with her like Biscardi with the refrigerator BF. Very nice post.

  2. Funny how all the gossip, hearsay, and vicious rumors are being perpetrated by men (save perhaps Erickson) and the only woman involved in all this has been the most consistent and professional individual out of the bunch from what I have seen and heard so far.

And I am a guy, but I have to admit my gender is not looking to great in all of this...just "hitching my wagon" with Ketchum as it were.

  4. Hmm, a ban? Of all things, omitting or locking people out from voicing what's on their mind.

  6. If you're going to have a forum related to a subject, then all avenues for discussion should be left open.
    But,it's not my forum.
It's part of the reason I don't even bother with the BFRO site.
I like this blog much better because Shawn gives us plenty of room to thoroughly discuss the topics. If tempers get heated,we still get room to sort those out.
    THAT'S how it should be.

  7. Awesome Scott, the pots also a womanhating racist pedophile. Its amazing how many people take his posts seriously. Robert Lindsay hangs with Biscardi. My take on it isthat this is where the jealousy lies. Send out as much misinformation as possible because we aren't a part of your project. Mwahhh! Anyone else notice that there was no discussion of the Ketchum project on the sights of groups thought to be involved. Might be that the BFRO has some samples out there and didn't want to violate the NDA. Who do you think Ketchum would ask to smooth things over? Moneymakers, who has a clean reputation, or Robert Lindsay, a woman hating racist pedophile who doesn't stop typing in front of his computer in his moms basement unless Biscardi asks him on his radio.show? 8. Its just maddening to me as a scientist on the censorship on many of these forums.
I have a test for you. If you havent already, go to Bigfootforums.com and ask a question that challenges one of the "expert" researchers. Then stand up for yourself and see how long it takes to get banned. I have NEVER been banned from ANY forum for ANY reason(I did receive a warning once on the Porsche forum for assigning the title of idiot to a fellow poster) but one point out of ten before you have 3 days off. Bigfootforums.com practices outright censorship. I was banned for questioning the stupid relationship of the many NDA that everyone seems to sign. And they sign for what? To KEEP data from the rest of us. I guess they all think they are ALL going to CASH in on something where I see one or two people really getting money. So instead of SHARING data they dont tell anyone. The only reason in my 30 years of Naval Science did I see a NDA was when a Contractor had data that DIRECTLY influenced a product coming to market. Is there a BIGFOOT doll that Bigfootforums.com is getting ready to bring out this Christmas?
Now BFRO.com wont talk about probably the most important issue in todays BigFoot search. I JUST DONT GET IT. Clearly there are ALOT of researchers out there that are clearly not interested in this as pure SCIENCE. The NOT FINDING BIGFOOT show is a good example. Seriously if they were REALLY interested in contributing SOMETHING with this show, they would spend more than 3 days on site. If money wasnt so important they would spend at least 4 weeks on site to get SOME kind of result.
THey yell for an hour or two get a response maybe then hang it up for the nite and they go home.
I hope some one is approaching this with the idea of Science in mind. I dont think Lawyers or Private Detectives should be leading the Scientific Effort on this.
    Just my Banned opinion.
