Mitchell Waite: "The Bigfoot World (humans) needs to decide if they are Bigfoot Hunters, or Bigfoot Researchers"

Last week, we reposted an article by Arizona Bigfoot Researcher Mitchell Waite attempting to explain the difference between Bigfoot Hunters versus Bigfoot Researchers. The first article talked about what "real" Bigfoot Researchers do, but this latest write-up from Examiner.com tells us what Bigfoot Hunters are. Mitchell says the Bigfoot community needs to decide whether these Bigfoot Researchers on T.V. (probably talking about Matt Moneymaker and friends) are really just Bigfoot Hunters. Mitchell makes a clear distinction between the two.

This is one reason I think some of these "Professional Bigfoot Hunters" are wrong. They get a hot report and off they go. They rely on tips, and sighting reports instead of looking at what such an animal would need not only to survive but to thrive. Of course, survival is never good enough for any animal species. They have to be able to thrive. If they don't thrive, they will not stay at the location. All animals have to thrive or they move on. At any rate, I watched one of the Bigfoot shows where the Bigfoot Hunters actually had some good hits, even a thermal image which was very promising. Did they hunker down and try to get more? No, the next day they were off to another new sighting. It seems if there was really something there, follow-up efforts would be a must.

Notice I called them “Bigfoot Hunters” and not “Bigfoot Researchers”.  The Bigfoot World (humans) needs to decide if they are Bigfoot Hunters, or Bigfoot Researchers.  Of course, Bigfoot hunters are those who are out to “Bag” a Bigfoot using a gun or camera.  Bigfoot Researchers are those who are seeking knowledge through data collection and field work.

  1. Mitchell-brilliant! This was necessary to discuss. There are two camps and it's obvious the types of personalities in each camp. Who do you actually trust when they report evidence? The glory-seeking sickos running around our precious woodlands with guns and acting like they're hunting terrorists to feed their sad little egos, or do you trust the ones who want to observe patterns, behaviors, habitats and come to know the creature with a sense of respect that it could co-exist with us and manage to ride under the radar at the same time.

    1. Hey Stupid, I know several people who were attacked by wild animals out there, who would have liked to have a gun to protect themselves.
Toots, It seems to me that you make an aweful lot of rediculous statements that just should not be said.
Ever have a mountain lion stalking you? Well, I know of a few people who have. Don't start throwing your hippy, love and peace, anti-gun BS here in Arizona. You won't get anywhere. Oh, and just so you know. I also have a few names of people who had rocks thrown at them, or were chased by something big, hairy and bi-pedal. Yes, that's right. That's your "Furry little buddies" out in the forest. I know they're real and I know one other thing, They're WILD!
It's stupid comments by stupid people like yourself who shouldn't be going out into the forest. You're the type that they always have to send rescue crews after.
Do us a favor, Stick to chasing Casper.

    2. If that was true where are the bones? Oh OK they live forever come on man 👨 there's no bigfoot you guys seen a big ass bear 🐻. I hate to tell you get off the weed or pcp you dudes are on. The funny thing I've ever seen was when the two guys arguing about killing one. It's ridiculous I want to jump in the TV and shake em. And as for rocks being thrown at you did you ever 🤔 it was a person doing so. Or some nut dressed in a suit. You guys are cray 🖍 🖍.

  2. I think the best approach is a combination of the two. Bigfoot are very leary around humans and we likely observe only behavior specifically designed to avoid human contact.

Its not only Finding Bigfoot that runs from place to place. When people say to look in the last place something was seen in an attempt to find it, they completely ignore if it were that simple you would not be looking for it.

Has anyone seen the movie "The Legend of Sasquatch". They had it right yet because of the entertainment element this has been dismissed.

Take an expedition to one of the deepest parts of British Columbia that is still unexplored. Bring the new age equipment we employ today and see what you get. If humans never go there it is likely that is exactly where Sasquatch are most populated. Whole villages would not be surprising and at a minimum the sasquatch will likely not be on guard so much in an area like this allowing for better pictures.

  3. These Bigfoot are brought here to earth by Aliens as workers in gold mines thousands of years ago. These creatures have night vision and can read human minds. The only way you can get them off guard and hurt them or see them is when they are in rut and seeking females. These Alien masters retrieve these creatures whenever they start looking stalking human females. This is one problem Bigfoot have is when in Rut they sometimes will obsess on human females to a point where they may kidnap them and take them off usually never letting them return. This is a real problem for their masters because it brings way to much attention from authorities and these huge manhunts that have discovered their underground homes in the past.

  4. I don't think this is helping anything. Were still pointing fingers at each other saying the other ones doing it wrong. Someone has to play devils advocate here. The way I see it its been 60+ years and neither side has definitive proof yet. STOP before you say anything about the DNA studies and all that because the rest of us common folks haven't been read in on all the "G-14 classified" stuff about your supposed findings yet. Maybe we should be comparing notes and taking good points from both styles and combining them. The only dumb apes were finding are us (humans). Not saying Bigfoots an ape for those who just got there hackles up. LOL

  5. Mr. Waite makes prints in his back yard. He then post them on azcro. He forgets that theirs time stamps on the blogs and their is no way for him to run north from mesa az. to the anchas and back with a perfect clean footprint. This keep in mind that theirs snow and most of the area is closed off.

  6. All one has to do is look at one of Mitch's many videos on youtube where he is carrying a gun.

Gee whose the Bigfoot Hunter now ?

    1. He'd be crazy to NOT be carrying a gun into the wilderness he researches. Bears, cougars, snakes, illegal smugglers, meth labs ... he could accidentally run into any of those that wouldn't be too happy to see him. He's made it very clear his intent is only self-defense, NOT bigfoot "hunting".

    2. But how do we know he's not really bigfoot hunting?!?!
