Man in Norfork claims to have video of Bigfoot in its natural habitat, then pulls an Erickson Project when he tells people they can't see it
Clifford LaBrecque |
It all started with Adrian Erickson not wanting to release his Bigfoot video showing a sleeping sasquatch. And then this 73 year old gentlemen named Clifford LaBrecque from Norfork comes along and tells us he's been holding on to a videotape of what he says shows a Bigfoot in its natural habitat.
According to an article from BaxterBulletin.com, LaBrecque refuses to show his Bigfoot footage to the public because he fears being ridiculed.
He has shown the video privately but declines to show it publicly because of the ridicule that some people have for those who claim to have had unusual or paranormal experiences.
"I'm not going to listen to anyone who doesn't know crap telling me I don't know crap," LaBrecque said. "Right now if one of these creatures walked across the back yard and I called and tried to tell about it, people would say, 'Oh. That's the guy with the Bigfoot model in his house.'
"You are done before you start. You're not going to win that one."
LaBrecque also has an 8-foot-tall model of a Bigfoot, which he keeps in his living room. He had it made in the late 70s for $9,000 after claiming he was grabbed by a Bigfoot in 1977.
The encounter happened, according to LaBrecque, between 9-10 p.m. near a woodpile behind LaBrecque's home in the Windsor Heights suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to the altercation, LaBrecque says he observed almost nightly a Bigfoot specimen — about 8 feet tall — that sometimes appeared with two apparently juvenile Bigfoot creatures.
He says he called a Des Moines newspaper to tell of the sightings and had argued with the newspaper over copyrights to Bigfoot photographs should the newspaper act on his tip and obtain photographs.
On June 18 he had decided to shoot to kill the larger Bigfoot and had positioned his car for the shot that he believed would furnish incontrovertible evidence of the reality of the Bigfoot creature.

So this guy has a video he refuses to show us for fear of being ridiculed? I'm not interested in his concerns. If he had something valid I think we would have seen it already.
ReplyDeleteI've got the body of Jimmy Hoffa in my basement but you guys would never believe it.
JB
This guy is obviously full of donkey shit
ReplyDeleteI don't understand, he has a video of bigfoot but after the incident when he was going to try to shoot the bigfoot he had to be hypnotized to remember what it looked like? (see complete article)
ReplyDeleteAlso, why not show the video under an alias. I don't blame him about the ridicule but there are ways to show it.
Shawn,do you ever sleep? It's 4:42am EST, I was just here a couple of hours ago and this article wasn't up at that time. LOL
The man is going to get way more ridicule for this ignorant claim than if he were to show the video. This is what annoys the crap out of me. I know something yall don't know. Just shut up, why say it if you have no intentions on releasing it. Just another personal trying to get there 15 min of fame. "Hey guys look I'm on the internet/tv"
ReplyDeleteAs Shawn's mentor and the organizer of the first Bigfoot Expedition he had ever attended I can vouch for the fact he has unlimited energy when it comes to this topic and he will post the latest news no matter what.
ReplyDeleteDuring the first trip Shawn spent the entire time tirelessly checking for evidence at signs and would not take one break. This was a coed expedition and the ladies all aged 20-24 would get very scared at night, especially after finishing their rations of beer and special cigarettes. While the rest of us spent time comforting them in their tents until the wee morning hours Shawn was out looking for evidence. His dedication to this subject is something that amazes those who witness it.

ReplyDeleteAbove is a link to photos of the expedition I am referring to. This photo shows Shawn's tent mate. She said he did not spend any time in the tent forgoing sleep to hunt for additional evidence and signs of the creature.
I agree with James. Why bother saying you have something, then not show it?

It would behoove people to stop and think before they reveal anything and ask themselves "what do I hope to get out of this." This man made himself less credible by saying "I have it, but I won't share it." By even telling us he had it, he did no benefit his cause but hurt it.
ReplyDeleteWow, cool model!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a slow news day.
ReplyDeleteI like his model, however it seems to based more on King Kong, than what actual witnesses describe.

Autumn-
ReplyDeleteThere is another perspective that should be considered. I would not be surprised if his conduct was designed to try and get people to believe Bigfoot exists without revealing information that may do them harm.
If I had a Bigfoot in my backyard and it were what I envision the creature being in my mind, I would want the world to know they exist but also would not want to endanger the creature- as although people advocate against it everyone knows that if we knew for sure exactly where one was the government would come out and shoot it in the name of science.
Honestly I would think long and hard about ever revealing any "ground breaking evidence" because knowing history and human nature some bad things may happen. Even if the species is immediately protected thrill seekers or any number of others would exploit it- you would have stories of them being harmed or tortured and I dont know that I could accept that when the point of revealing the evidence has alot to do with personal gain as well as scientific gain.
A big problem is that in this day and age people do not put much thought into their actions. Say a Hobo takes up residence in an area around your house. He means no harm and is working on a construction project needing temporary workers- so he is not a psycho just a traveling worker. Do you ask him to leave or do you just wait until he is at work and burn or remove his belongings. Many would think because you do not have to allow people to camp on your property and because nobody would be happy about the idea of strangers on their property that it is acceptable to do the second. Acceptable maybe in the fact you likely would not be arrested or punished so their would be no consequences but not in that this action did not have to be taken to get the desired result.
I will throw this out there. Sasquatch are proven to exist- the government then funds a huge new study that will entail government employees and many contract employees. If caves where they reside were discovered out west and contained a huge gold reserve you can bet all Bigfoot activity would be evicted from that cave and the whole area forever impacted by the mining company that will set up.
To anonymous above me...I agree with a lot of what you've posted but I'd never reveal them or their location...ever! I might give a description of the one I'd seen but nope never ever would I reveal a location or their picture. Not to avoid ridicule but to protect them.
ReplyDeleteThis story is bigfoot scat from top to bottom.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous above Blondie, I agree with some of your points as well. But didn't the man say that he was going to shoot the big one for evidence? He just didn't have the stones to go through with it. I'm not condoning the killing of one. Hell the thought has never crossed my mind. The only reason I or most people would is to protection themselves or someone else. There isn't any proof that they've hurt anyone. Except maybe the Teddy Roosevelt incident and another one or two but all those stories involved people shooting first and asking questions later. By all accounts they are doscile and skitish. They are the masters of stealth and camoflage if they where viscous we wouldn't stand a chance.
ReplyDeletehe has a video of a bigfoot in its natural habitat? let me guess, in the woods right? but we can't see it because he'll be made fun of? then why mention it dork.
ReplyDeletewhy doesn't he just release anonymously?????
ReplyDeleteHow can you be rediculed if they don't know who you are?
