In our first clip, Ohio Bigfoot Hunter Tim Stover has footage showing a thermal capture of a "Bipedal Subject." Tim says he can't prove that it was a Bigfoot and not a person. "The thermal shows a bipedal subject with all even heat signature. Your guess is as good as mine. The subject was in the woods and not on any trail. After 18 seconds it vanished."
The second clip is from SasquaiNation, our friend and Bigfoot Evidence reader from western Canada. He has found what he believe to be possible Sasquatch tracks near the side of the road. "I was on the back road for about 20 minutes when I noticed foot prints going from the road to the tree line up the hill but there was no trail between the trees."

Video taken with an iPhone4. I had to act quickly and knew I didn't have time to get the Sony HD which was ten feet away on the tripod. On the scene now! It happened so fast I didn't know what to do. I have a witness with me who heard the movement. Note: I can't prove that this was a Bigfoot and not a person. The thermal shows a bipedal subject with all even heat signature. I decided to take a different road to my new research area for a change of scenery and to see if there were other areas of interest.
I was on the back road for about 20 minutes when I noticed foot prints going from the road to the tree line up the hill but there was no trail between the trees.
I was curious so I pulled over,grabbed my camcorder and headed to the prints.I expected them to be nothing more than boot prints,but when I saw the size of them,I knew they couldn't be human.
The prints appeared to be barefoot because I could distinguish what looked like a big toe impression and the print has the same outline as a human foot.
The prints measured 17 inches long,7 inches wide near the front of the foot and 6 inches wide near the heel.
The interesting thing is that the forward right step crosses over the rear left step.
I took a measurement of the rear left foot print to the forward right foot print.This measured,heel to heel,approximately 36 inches on an incline of approximately 50-55 degrees.
The prints were partially filled from blowing snow and two hours later when I returned,the prints had rapidly degraded.
My guess is they were less than 24 hours old.
This was recorded on December 10,2011 at approximately 11:00 a.m. in Alberta,Canada.
Conditions were sunny,windy and approx. 7-8 degrees centigrade.
Other animal tracks were spotted.Deer,canine and Hare tracks were observed.
There are nearby creeks/streams,some open spaces with thick brush,dense woods and hills.
Clarification-When I said that I saw what looked like hikers going up in to the trees,I miss spoke.I meant to say I thought the prints were from hikers.I did not see anyone.
We in the Bigfoot community buy Thermals to find the bigguys at night Right ! This guy Stovar has more cameras then God and he's telling us that instead of using his HD Sony camera during the middle of the day he is using his Thermal camera which doesn't record anything you have to use another camera to focus on the Thermals little screen to see anything. So he is telling us something is walking in the woods and instead of walking over to get his Sony a few feet away or zoom in with his IPHONE he took his Iophone and tried to focus in on his Thermal screen and record this fast action that took only 16 seconds to cross in front of him,. Does anyone think this is crazy ! He could see it with his eyes so he makes it a mystery and uses his Iphone to record a Thermal Screen while in a hurry ! Only in the BF world would someone ask us to believe such nonsense.....!
ReplyDeleteWe now have Tim Stovar using his thermal viewer during the day making a mystery about the day ! You can see movement during the day in bright sunshine why use a thermal when you have a Sony HD mounted on your Monopod. Yesterday he shows us a video of all his cameras mounted on his monopod, why would Stovar take the thermal off the monopod when he knows the has to film the thermal camera results using his Sony HD mounted tightly behind it. There is something screwy going on here.
ReplyDeleteI don't follow all Tim's work but I do know he helped a friend with a FLIR set-up and it was pretty slick. Used a rail system that held the FLIR and a video cam in position to film real time..worked like a charm and could be carried in field as one unit or slapped on a tripod and left running for hours. FLIR's can be rented for very reasonable terms..and in my opinion one of the best tools out there in the dark that also is non-threatening.

ReplyDeleteI don't think using a FLIR during the day is such a bad idea if you have a partner with an HD camcorder with you.One can search for heat sigantures and the other can focus in that area if a source is found.

ReplyDeleteThermal imaging may be useful if you're trying to find a squatch in the dark. However, when it comes to bigfoot, that's about all it's good for. Any thermal clip purported to be evidence of sasquatch's existence is entirely useless. Thermal clips are even easier to fake than regular video clips.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it (okay, maybe I don't), but cameras of any sort, no matter how expensive and fancy, are entirely 100% useless if you are trying to use a camera to prove that bigfoot exists. You could have a super clear picture or footage of a squatch three feet away from the camera and science/skeptics will still call it a hoax.
There are some good sasquatch costumes (Harry and the Hendersons, Jack Links Messin' With Sasquatch, Letters From the Big Man, etc.) Any clear, close camera footage will be labeled as a good costume by science/skeptics.
Bigfoot hunting can be fun with good, expensive cameras, but I hate to see people spend all kinds of money on what can only be a dead end as far as bigfoot evidence is concerned.
Bigfoot hunters, think specimen, living or dead. That's the ticket. The only ticket.

Many people are carrying cameras into the woods with the express purpose of proving bigfoot's existence, something that can't be done with a camera. A specimen or part of a specimen is needed.
If you do come across a dead body, do what the late Dr. Grover Krantz suggested. If you have the tools (bring them with you just in case), cut off a hand, arm, or better yet the head and bring it out with you.
