Bear Tracks? Sasquatch or Bigfoot Tracks? Strange things happening on Tony Dean's farm in Marion VA
Tony Dean's son found these tracks on his farm in Marion Virginia about two weeks ago. He thought it was a bear at first, but he's not so sure anymore. Tony recently asked his Twitter followers if they could help him identify what type of animal could have made them.
Two days prior to finding the tracks, while tracking a wounded deer, Tony also found these remains of a deer near the back ridge of the farm. He said the remains had been stripped and eaten to almost nothing. A hoof still had hide and looked like it had not been rotting long. "We didn't find the backbone, ribs, or the skull."
Bear Tracks? Sasquatch or Bigfoot Tracks? Scratch Gravel Wild Man Tracks?
Fresh Tracks on the Farm - Marion Virginia
I first thought they were bear tracks but the claw marks cannot be seen. It had rained the night before the tracks were made and the ground was soft when it went through. My son found the tracks around 4pm on 11/23/2011 and took a cell phone picture. We went back this morning and the tracks were still there.
It rained the night before these were filmed. This would have been a black bear under 200 lbs judging by the size of tracks and short length of claws.
Deer remains - Fur, leg bones, and jaw bones are all that are left.
Deer remains found on the back ridge of the farm - Marion Virginia
We were tracking a wounded deer on the back ridge of the farm on 11/21/2011 and found the remains of a deer that had been stripped and eaten to almost nothing. A hoof still had hide and looked like it had not been rotting long. We didn't find the backbone, ribs, or the skull.
The rest of the video overlooks a view from the back ridge of our farm towards Scratch Gravel Road and Lowman Valley Church and a view from the top ridge looking North towards I-81 and McMullen.
The deer remains mean nothing. There was a fully intact, fresh deer carcass in my yard that died after it got hit by a car. I helped my dad drag it further into the woods and three days later the only trace of it was a tuft of hair. And I live in CT where the only thing that would eat a decomposing deer are maggots and coyotes. Something was brave enough to get fairly close to our house and drag it off, and while I believe in bigfoot, there is no way they live in the part of CT I live in.
ReplyDeleteLove the video quality.. And from a cell phone. Awesome.. As for the tracks.. It s a bear.. Clearly not a Bigfoot .. Love the video quality... With that kind of quality from a cell phone, why haven't we seen a clear vid of a BF. hmmmmm.. Thanks for sharing such vibrid video quality. Don't see the real thing (real video quality) here much on BF sites. Mainly shaky unfocused stuff. I knew the real thing was clear and easily identifiable. Thanks again!!!
ReplyDeleteMy son took the first photos with a cellphone and I went with him the next day and filmed the tracks with a 1st generation Flip MinoHD. I have game cameras on the farm and have pics of deer, coyote, foxes, and an occasional bobcat. -Tony
ReplyDeleteClaw or finger drag marks....any eastern cougars in the area? You have to consider the normal local carnivores as most likely,
ReplyDeleteNothing says "Sasquatch"...to this untrained eye.
I saw a yellow mountain lion cross the road 6-7 years ago it came off a bank and all 4 paws stepped right on the center line as it crossed and that was the only part of the road it touched, the next step was off the road. -Tony
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing quality for a phone..yeah. The BF tracks I have seen have five toes and even a partial track leaves no question they look human like. In contrast to the bear , there is usually a claw mark somewhere in the track..
ReplyDeleteHowever, isn't there some 3-toed dog-face thing people back East talk about? Lol sorry but I do think there is 3-toed version of something!
I mean, in a bear trackway..somewhere you will find the claw marks...not with a BF - no claws (well my personal experience anyway SW US).
ReplyDeleteWell this is not too far from Mothman territory. Ive never seen anyone claim to have a Mothman track.
ReplyDeleteMy UW educated son says it's wooley Mamoth tracks. "they're like elephant tracks only grooved and grooved lengthwise", he says. And you just thought it's hard to hide a huge hairy hominid in the woods. How about a giant elephant?
ReplyDeletelOOKS LIKE EITHER dOGMAN or some drunk was walking home on all fours after a night out at the honky tonk !
ReplyDeleteHey Autumnforest,
ReplyDeleteI know you feel like you need to comment on basically every blogpost and I know you haven't commented on this yet but when you get to it, I have a suggestion for you. I know you think your opinion carries weight, so please take your act to the Bigfoot Forums. I challenge you to bring your psychic, paranormal d-baggery to a place where you would get your ass handed to you daily. C'mon it will be fun.
Who took you candy today Anonymous? That attack was not nice and was uncalled for...who made you King and Boss here? It's easy to hide behind Anonymous and say these things isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like what someone writes don't read it. That seems simple enough..
As for the tracks, all I know is they look BIG and I wouldn't want anyone to be alone out there.
Oh I know who made that anon post to Autumn, it's Justin,he's done it on another topic here too.
ReplyDeleteJustin, I remember when you were on the bigfoot forum. You're young. Don't feel the need to defend yourself! Unless you have something to hide the truth will come out and you will be vindicated.I suspect you were baited by MM and you fell for it.
Attacking others is not the way to do it. I doubt you'll pay any attention to my comments but step away, remove yourself. Be the bigger person.
Come on Justin let it go.
Can't we just all get along (and find bigfoot)?
