Finding Bigfoot: Matt Moneymaker camped out near Gum Hill to look for Bigfoot [VIDEO]

Last Tuesday the Finding Bigfoot crew visited Saltville
During the town hall meeting at the Palmer Grist Mill, the floor was open for local residents to tell their best Bigfoot stories on camera and about 10 attendees opened up. According to swvatoday.com, most of the witnesses’ stories had the common theme of spotting an extremely tall, broad-shouldered figure while hunting in the woods.
One of the hunters was a man from Piney Flats, Tenn., who told a detailed story about how a large, dark figure with long, matted hair walked up to him, looked at him for a moment, then walked away in a zigzag motion.
“With my hand up to heaven I know what I saw,” the man said after he told his story.
A teenager from Saltville told a story about how she saw the familiar dark figure at the top of a hill outside her home, and soon after she made eye contact with it she was hit by a rock that left a sizeable bruise on her right leg. She even brought in a drawing of the creature to show to the cast.
A Bristol man said that he also encountered a Sasquatch at Gum Hill, apparently near the Benhams/Mendota area of Washington County. Clinch Mountain stands to the north of both Mendota and Saltville.
The Bristol man claimed that he and a friend were looking for ginseng when they came across a large figure sitting on a rock that stood up and whistled and made other noises at them when they approached it. He said it ran away before they got close enough to make out specific details, but he described its face as “Neanderthal.” He later came across a dead deer whose backside had been ripped off nearby. Barackman told him that Sasquatches are carnivores that often feed on deer and small animals, so it could very well have been the same creature.
Matt Moneymaker unfortunately was not there to hear the stories. He was busy camping out near Gum Hill, hoping to find traces of Bigfoot.

ReplyDeleteI live in Washington County Virginia and I saw one dead on I-81 back in the 70's. So as far as I'm concerned the nay sayers and hoax criers can take a flying leap. Btw all you skeptics, no one stopped to look at it or report it to authorities. Oh really? you would have stopped and taken the risk of being involved in a murder investigation? No, you would have drove on by like me and everyone else did.
