Sanger Paranormal Society Will Need Your Help and Your Money for Bigfoot DNA Test

The news conference in Fresno, California won't start until later this afternoon, but what can we expect to learn about the discovery made by the paranormal group today?

Last week, the group made claims to have DNA samples of Bigfoot and also 12 inch long footprints taken from California's High Sierra over Memorial Day weekend. They discovered the evidence during a six-person Sasquatch hunting expedition.

The society's founder, Jeffrey Gonzalez said the DNA samples were from an impression of the creature's face, pressed into two windows on the left-hand side of his pickup truck. The 12-inch long footprint was found near the car.

In an interview with Canada's CTV.ca, Gonzalez said, "A forensic expert has swabbed the prints for DNA and taken photographs on scene. Now all we need to do is eliminate the possibility of it being another animal." Gonzalez said he hopes that an anthropologist or anyone with a database of animal DNA steps forward to help authenticate their samples.

A California paranormal group claims to have DNA samples of Bigfoot -- concrete evidence of the legendary creature's existence -- but they want help authenticating them.

Members of the Sanger Paranormal Society will call upon the public to donate money and resources to their Bigfoot research effort at a Thursday afternoon news conference in Fresno, Calif.

What else can we expect to learn during the news conference? The Sanger group said it themselves in a media advisory report: "No, it’s not a Bigfoot in a Freezer and we are not affiliated with those guys in any way. This evidence was captured during an expedition in the High Sierra’s of California during the Memorial Day weekend of 2011. There were a total of 5 people in attendance who made the discovery." We feel a lot better since Biscardi's not involved.

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
