4 out of 10 Washington residents believe in Bigfoot |
According to the PRNewswire, reports of giant footprints and Sasquatch sightings in Washington are well-publicized. Footprint evidence found in the state have turned skeptics into believers. Some skeptics found the Bossburg footprints, discovered in 1969 north of Kettle Falls, too intriguing to simply dismiss. A close examination of an 18 inches long, nearly 7 inches wide footprint shows so much correct anatomical details that Washington State University anthropology professor Grover Krantz said the average person would not have the expertise required to fabricate the print. The footprint details were remarkable: deformed, crooked, with a skewed small toe.
Cripple Foot is the name given to a creature which, in November 1969, is alleged to have left a trackway of 1,089 distinctive footprints in and around Bossburg, Washington. |
