Looking for a frightening way to experience the thrills of bigfoot hunting without leaving your house? Check out the very awesome Finding Bigfoot video game.
Angela Hammond was abducted by a man in a old Ford green truck with a fish decal on the back. She was at a phone booth talking to her boyfriend. He heard her screaming when the guy grabbed her. This happened in Missouri and I was in SC. I tended bar at a popular restaurant and had to stop by the gas station to get gas and I saw this guy. He was steady watching me. I kept looking at the truck and I saw the fish decal. I do not know if this was the same guy but a fear rose in me and was telling me to get out. I was afraid he might follow me. I just sat in my car and waited. He got out of his car and he was almost 6'1 with dirty light brown hair and he had on blue jeans with work boots. He smoked a fag and got back in his truck and was angry and hit the steering wheel and slammed the door and peeled out of there; I started crying and went into the gas station and they called the cops. Might not have been him but if it was that damn show saved my life. I've never been that scared or threatened. It was like sensing a predator in the wild. I was up all night and I remember all of it like it was yesterday. My Mom had to call the doc the next day to get something to calm me down and she had to stay home with me.
Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders -- Honestly, there are almost too many things to list. Someone had been lurking around the camp at night for at least 2 months before the killings, and had even left a note threatening to murder three people. Counselors reported hearing non-human "guttural" noises and movement the night of the murders. Someone continued to lurk around and taunt security guards long after the fact - like leaving a pair of wet shoes and socks in a bag on the steps of the camp with one of the girl's names written on it. Although the police focused on one man, there are several pieces of evidence that point to multiple murderers. There's also a disturbing message left on a message board from someone claiming 3 boy scouts from a neighboring camp might have been involved.
Missing tongues and other soft tissue is especially common in bodies found in water, as she was. It's definitely one of those details that sounds a lot scarier than it is, just because in most cases no one mentions details like that.
"Gaping orbits, the eyeballs are absent" from the autopsy report. Yes, I agree that it's just a consequence of decomposition. But it's also creepy, to me. It's creepy because the other bodies found with her - in arguably the same environment, and therefore experiencing the same decomposition - still had their tongue and eyes. It's creepy because there is so much mystery surrounding why they were there when they had built a snow den yards away.
In November 2005, a video which was circulating in Iraq appeared on the Internet.[3] The video, attributed to the Sunni insurgent group Islamic Army in Iraq, showed American soldiers being shot and falling to the ground. The video starts with a man saying, "I have nine bullets in this gun and I have a present for George Bush. I am going to kill nine Soldiers. I am doing this for the viewers to watch. God is great. God is great." With that, he makes his way from the vehicle, and a series of separate scenes follow showing several individuals shot in action.
A second "Juba" video was distributed in 2006 in western Baghdad and released on the Internet in late October 2006. The video contained an interview with the supposed commander of the Baghdad sniper division, footage shows numerous fighters being trained in the use of sniper rifles. The video discusses the alleged fear generated in coalition forces by insurgency snipers, and shows "Juba" returning from a sniping mission, marking a tally of 37 on a wall. The sniper then sits down to make a diary entry. The video claims that there are dozens of snipers operating within the IAI and other factions, and shows more being trained. The rest of the video shows numerous clips of U.S. soldiers being sniped with nasheed music in the background, and an insurgent commander explaining that his men are inspired and trained to an extent based on the information in the book The Ultimate Sniper by retired Major and U.S. Army sniper John Plaster
December 2007, "Juba - The Baghdad Sniper 3" was released on the Internet. The production quality of the video was improved from Islamic Army's previous releases; the video was made available in nine languages. This video also makes reference to a website that is supposedly connected to the Juba character.[4] In 2008, "Juba - The Baghdad Sniper 4" was released on the Internet and on the same website.
Kittalia A. sent us the following questions about Patty, the Bigfoot in the Patterson-Gimlin film. They are all very good questions that we we wish we knew the answers to. We're no "Henry May" and it's times like this that we wish we had his number. Since we don't have Henry around whenever we need him, here are some easy questions for all you Patterson-Gimlin believers to try and answer:
Thanks to Matt Moneymaker for sharing this story with us from a guy named Thomas S. who was camping with some friends near the French Meadows Reservoir in August 2012. This remote, forested basin is located on the American River approximately 58 miles east of Auburn in the Sierra Nevada's. Before his encounter, the man thought Bigfoot "was just for entertainment purposes", but he changed his tune when he ended up with messy drawers that night. "That will teach to goof on our show," says Matt.
Uh Oh. Here we go again, folks. M.K. Davis originally brought up this theory called the "Bluff Creek massacre" theory back in 2008 at a conference. The controversial theory was immediately rejected by the Bigfoot community and Davis was shunned from ever speaking about it again. According to Davis, based on his expert film analysis and color enhancements of frame 352 of the PG film, he theorizes that the Patterson party had been to the Bluff Creek site at least once before returning to capture their famous Bigfoot video. His theory also suggests that the party probably murdered a family of Bigfoots and buried their bodies. Davis points to an enhanced anomaly resembling a bloody dog print and a pool of blood as proof of his theory.

ReplyDeleteAnon 7:05 -- Interesting story, but the truck in the Hammond case had a scene covering the entire back window. Don't see those much anymore.
ReplyDeleteGlad you weren't hurt.
