Bigfoot Hunters Call 911-- Researcher Goes Down In Dark Forest

Editor’s Note: This is a post by Bigfoot Evidence contributor Vicki W.

"Creepy Legends" is a series of videos following investigations of reported paranormal activity at various locations. In this upload from 'Paranormresearch', a group of paranormal investigators set out for a night investigation in the Daniel Boone National Forest of Morehead, KY, led by cryptozoologist Ron Coffey. The hunt kicked off as usual, with the researchers setting up camera traps and doing a few wood knocks. They manage to pick up some unexplained whistles and distant knocks. Several members say they observed anomalies of light that did not appear to be flashlights.

But the outing is unexpectedly interrupted when part of the group that had moved ahead radios back to the others that there is an emergency and an investigator was down. It is serious enough to call 911 and request EMTs to the scene. The team moves toward the location of the emergency situation and eventually catch up as emergency personnel arrive. Watch the episode to find out what happened.

  1. I saw a Bigfoot-like creature in the Elfin Forest in southern California. What I saw was very ape-like except the fact that it walked comfortably upright, with only a slight lean forward. It was in the six foot range, perhaps shorter.

The Elfin Forest is known for paranormal activity, but not Bigfoot (not that they're mutually exclusive.) Are southern California sightings unusual?

There's a Spiritualist church nearby and when I asked them they were very coy and said they see the creature, "all the time," and sometimes lay out leftovers for the thing to eat. I'm not sure if they thought I was crazy, or if they were pulling my leg, or both, but I assure you there is a Bigfoot in that forest.

  2. I do not mean to sound like I am picking on every little thing here, but i am confused about a few things..... I am a Bigfoot Researcher for 5 years now, and the #1 thing I was taught was "NEVER shine your light" and #2 was "Be Quiet" This group shines lights everywhere, and talks like crazy. Just saying, or maybe I'm just asking.....what gives?

    1. I agree with you. I'm in my 7th year and have had alot of stuff happen and this group appears to break every rule my team follows. However, I've also led several groups of new people and some groups are loud like that, but soon are corrected. No bright lights, No rodger beeps, No walking in a bunch but in "Ranger File", typical infantry tactics and common sense. I'm not bashing them, I applaud them just for going out, and yes when squatch show up, wierd things happen. I also so a flash froma camera several times, BIG NO NO. It will either make them leave, or in my experience, it can make you a target for rock throwing. Glad to see I'm not the only one that was a bit annoyed by these things.

  3. Maybe they will find a racoon, but all the lights will scare it away.

  4. I used to find stuff like this fun and spooky, but Melba Ketchum has ruined that for me. Thanks for taking all the fun out of Bigfoot Melba.

  5. Unfortunately, many of these Bigfoot hunters are as noisy and moronic as the ghost hunters.
