Bigfoot Enthusiast Describes His Recent Sasquatch Sighting

This is my recollection of a recent sasquatch encounter where I was lucky enough to witness one running very close to me. I startled it with my flashlight and it bolted off down the hill. I was able to follow its movement with my light and got a glimpse of reddish-brown hair about 2 inches long, as well as yellow eyeshine. The eyeshine was about chin level with me. However, I was standing around 2.5ft above the surface he was running on. I'm 6ft tall so I have estimated the height to be somewhere between 7.5-8.5ft. Gauging from the eyeshine I have estimated his distance from me to be between 12-15ft. Judging by the sound, the footsteps proved to have a lot of surface. Each footstep made a thud which indicates that this creature was very heavy. This was the closest encounter I have ever had so far.

    Those who have seen the sasquatch people do not need proof. I only share what I find exactly how I found it. If you get up off the couch, go out to the woods and look around, you will find evidence of their existence. You will also have a better chance of having an authentic sighting than you would on youtube. Nature is also good for the soul.

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
