Will The Freedom of Information Act Help With The Discovery of Bigfoot?
Here's an interesting theory from BFE ready Troy S. Is it possible to pressure the government to release evidence confirming the existence of Bigfoot? He writes:
When you consider that the vast majority of encounters & sightings have occurred in heavily "forested" areas, remote wilderness, much of it government lands, under contract to lumber & paper industries for logging, for God only knows how much money, wouldn't it make sense for them to try to de- bunk & disprove the existence of an indigenous species or subspecies of gigantopithicus, distant evolutionary relative of man, sasquatch,.
Bigfoot? If they ALLOW their existence to become public FACT, they'd almost certainly be at "highly endangered species" status. Which, under the "Endangered species act", would immediately protect their HABITAT, the hundreds of thousands of acres of forests, VALUABLE logging forests. All I can say is, follow the money,..who stands to profit as long as this disappearing species remains a cryptid,." unknown to science". More than sufficient evidence to prove their existence does exist. And it's held by those who weigh the value of one single species against millions of dollars, MANY millions of dollars, and feel one more extinct species is worth,.nothing. Is this an opinion,. A theory,..or,?? & by the way, the freedom of information act, won't help you.
Remember,..unrecognized by science? A lawsuit, to pressure the government to release evidence, confming their existence, would prove also,. Conspiracy to violate the Endangered species act, & THAT, my friend, would involve politicians & powerful corporations. No judge, who answers to the federal government, would allow such a case to even be heard. The millions of diverse species of flora & fauna on this earth, "AND,..elsewhere,.. I find it difficult to believe, they DONT exist. Do with this information what you will. Good luck, & God bless.

Deletetoo dumb to get it ^
DeletePlease do this!! Harass the government with FOIA requests. Please. And then when not a single document is ever produced maybe you footers can join the rest of the world in the modern age.
ReplyDeleteIt worked with the 1975 Atlas, remember that meltdown of yours?
DeleteToo bad it turned out not to be what it was billed as.
DeleteWhat? A government document that lists sightings on a map whilst alluding to physical evidence?
DeleteYou were expecting more than that?
From what I read on various Bigfoot related sites, the suggestion was that the US government recognized Bigfoot as a species. Upon closer inspection it only puts forth the possibility. It's hardly a smoking gun.
DeleteFrom what I noticed being objective, was the American government putting Sasquatch sightings, alluding to the FBI testing hair samples, is as much recognition as is possible without a body on a slab, finding it important enough to use $200,000 of tax payers' money to make it.
DeleteThey may have spent 200K on the entire publication, but the Bigfoot part is just a small portion. It wasn't the focus.
DeleteIt also included a funny comic on Bigfoot and was far from committed to proclaiming anything. Yes it did list some sighting locations and alluded to the hair, but again I don't find it declarative.
No, the focus was to inform the public of what to expect in the wilderness of Washington.
DeleteIt in fact included satire as to the average person suggesting "Bigfoot" had no place in a Washington Atlas.
If you don't think a government document that lists sightings and hair samples as "declarative", I would suggest you're either trying too hard to play it down, or a glass half empty kind of guy.
I would suggest that you are trying too hard to play it up.
DeleteComing some one who doesn't get the most basic of satire, I'll take that with a grain of salt.
DeleteSo we are starting on the insults now?
DeleteIt was your suggestion that I was trying to "play it down" because I didn't agree with your point of view.
Don't be so keen to be offended, it's not so much an insult as it is a simple observation.
Delete"It also included a funny comic on Bigfoot..."
... No, this cartoon was satirical towards the typical mindset that would approach the subject matter, just like yours ("mythical creatures aren't meant to be in the Atlas?", with the creature in question stood behind them), it does not serve the purpose of playing down the significance of the subject matter being worthy enough of inclusion, and therefore I commented.
A simple disagreement, but I have no concern about maintaining that mine's objective.
FYI: There's a bigfoot documentary that's new on Netflix called Bigfoot Reflections. It's pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI've heard it's great. Will check it out.
DeleteIt may be the best one I've seen so far. A solid, no-frills documentary.
DeleteGonna watch it tonight. Most certainly after your recommendation, NC. Most definitely after Don Maker even appeared to enjoy if.
DeleteI just watched it. It is a good documentary. Definitely worth checking it out

DeleteWell, it hasn't been working for a lot of researchers or David Paulides. These government officials believe that they're above the law
ReplyDeleteFive holistic doctors murdered and another five missing (or believed to be hiding?) from July to August after run-ins with the Feds. Looks like someone's none too pleased with anti-vax advocates.
DeleteMissing 411 insures us all that this will NEVER happen... It would open up the can of worms to 'end all' can of worms.
ReplyDeleteWhether a Bigfoot creature is responsible for these disappearances doesn't matter, but it would sure provide the perfect scapegoat.
People get lost accidentally and purposely. It's questionable if the so called disappearances are abnormal to begin with.
DeleteRead the books. Learn something about the odd consistencies, you repetitive ignorant.
