Monster Like Lamprey Fish Falling From Sky In Alaska City Fairbanks
People in Alaska's second-largest city are reporting a bizarre situation - strange-looking fish are falling from the sky. The eel-like creatures are actually lampreys. At least four of the fish have been found in odd locations around Fairbanks. Three were dead, but one was still alive and returned to a river. Alaska fish and game wardens say the likely answer is birds:

DeleteHeh heh!
DeleteGood Eva R. Sounds like a x file to me. 4 of them maybe some birds though I doubt it. Start getting 100 or 1000s of them and we have something different. Wonder why it was returned to the river. These things destroyed the trout population of the Great Lakes back in the 50s and 60s.

Maybe a water spout, huh that might be it. Heck if you are hungry for them they are not far from you. I remember back in the day catching steelhead and lake trout that would have their markings on them.

Oh Chuck. Let me tell you
DeleteThey tasted like the bay, just like the clams here. But up in Alaska I hear they are nothing short of fantastic. Tartar sauce, chips and ice cold Budweiser
The air currents up high are very powerful and a vortice that is tall enough will do the trick. The taller the vortice the longer they stay airborn. And where they drop can be a sunny clear day

These ones can be found in Montenegro, Europe and all over the world
