Are These Bigfoot Tracks in British Columbia?

A young Ahousaht man got the surprise of his life when he was out in his boat on the morning of Feb. 26. During a routine patrol of Ahousaht territories he spotted movement at the tree line. From his boat he saw a creature stand up from a crouched position and retreat deeper into the forest.
"The first set of prints they came across appeared to be a set of large feet indicating that the owner of the feet had been seated on a log. “It was big, about 16 inches from heel to toe and it was 7 to 9 inches wide from big toe to little toe,” said the witness. “I have a size 9 boot and I put my foot beside the print and it was not quite three-quarters of the size of the footprint,” he continued. There are many stories both local and worldwide about reported encounters with a creature called Sasquatch, or yeti, or, in Nuu-chah-nulth stories, bookmis. The creature is reported to be a large, hairy, ape-like creature standing up to 10 feet tall and walking on two legs."

  6. 1) Bob Gimlin has admitted Chico was the horse he was riding at Bluff Creek. Chico is Bob Heironimus' horse. When Gimlin was cornered with it, he said he had the horse because he was breaking it in for Bob. He said he had it for three weeks. Two problems. First, Patterson and Gimlin told the Times-Standard reporter, who Wakeup says was editor Lawrence Beal, whose wife says he was in on Bigfoot hoaxing, that they had arrived at Bluff Creek one week before on a Saturday, not three weeks. That discrepancy is one thing, but here comes The Whopper: Gimlin is saying in print and to Bigfooters that the horse he had was his and that it did not rear and throw him because it was a trailwise, experienced old roping horse. Bang. Boom. Done. Impossible. You can not be breaking in a horse for someone because it is a trailwise, experienced old roping horse. The purpose of breaking in a horse is to make it ridable. That horse by his description is very uneasily scared and very ridable. Also, if he is training a horse for someone, what the heck is he doing taking that person's horse three states away on a potentially dangerous Bigfoot hunt? Whaaaa?

    2) Roger Patterson told the public and media that he went to Bluff Creek because while he was in WA on another hunt, he was alerted to tracks in the area. He said he hadn't been there since 1964. But now we have his own film footage that was never released to the public that shows he was there in 1967 and that it was well before October 20. Here comes The Whopper: On May 26, 1967, he gets $700 from Vilma Radford. She gives him this money because he says he needs a camera which he assures her he is going to use to film Bigfoot at Bluff Creek. This is several months before he is supposed to be alerted about tracks in the area, which were found not until September. The official story was that he went there just to film the tracks, which were old by the time they got there, for his "documentary." Boom. Bang. Done. Impossible. He already had a camera. He didn't need the $700 for a camera. We have now film from two different cameras of his trip in NorCal where he had Jerry with him. They were there. They were right in the area where Bluff Creek is. He's already got contacts with Bigfooters in the area. He's totally there. He said he hadn't been to Bluff Creek since '64. This is huge.

  7. Ray Wallace was hoaxing at Bluff Creek before the PGF.

Roger was hooking up with Ray and being duped, and the tracks at that logging site beside the roads attracted a real female Bigfoot that looked just like the one that Roger yoinked from Kunstler and put in his book the year before?

Roger told Ivan Sanderson just a couple months after the film that it was made "twenty miles beyond the end of an access road for logging and about thirty-five miles in from the nearest and only blacktop road."

20 miles beyond any logging road? Who are these guys kidding?

So Roger is down there undeniably in the late spring/summer and Wallace is there, too, hoaxing, and a real Ladyfoot shows up? You mean Ray attracted a Ladyfoot looking for love? That is how easy it is to bring Bigfoot? We just make fake tracks on logging roads and they show up? Bigfoot hunters take note. :D

And Roger was already promising in the spring of '67 that he was going to film Bigfoot in an area where a guy is hoaxing tracks and has been doing so since 1958. And on top of this we already have a Yakima businessman saying Roger admitted hoaxing Bigfoot as far back as 1961.

Holy guacamole, this was hoaxing! This blows my mind that some people can not accept this. Ray was hoaxing. Roger was telling people he was finding Bigfoot in Yakima. I think it's plain as day that he was hoaxing in Bluff creek as well. Seriously, if this happened today, Bigfooters would eat these guys for lunch. What is it that makes people's common sense short out with the PGF?

    5. Sorry. Ray Wallace was not even around the bluff creek area when all the tracks were being found. He was hundreds of miles to the north trying to expand his business and interviews with crew and foremen and Jerry Crew, company personal, and Al Hodgson said they seldom if ever saw Ray Wallace all the while new tracks were being found on the new cut roads sometimes on a daily basis. The biggest problem the Wallace company had was keeping and finding new employees as existing ones left in droves not wanting to confront the creatures that were leaving all these tracks around their equipment each morning.

After his death when family found his carved feet it seemed to make a neat story for them to say their father was responsible for all the bigfoot tracks in America. Kind of like to two British pub blokes claiming they were responsible for all the crop circles, all the while these circles were far more elaborate and coming from the US and Canada plaines, Australia, Brazil, etc. while these guys were guzzling beer at the local pub. Of course the no nothing press just climbed all over this and exclaimed case closed so they could go back to hammering beers in their own pubs and feel good about themselves, and wait for the next AP or UPI release they could read and then re write in their own intoxicated style.

There are also several books that show comparisons from an actual bigfoot cast that is dynamic compared to the static fake wooden bigfoot cast made by Ray Wallace and when you see these there is actually no comparison. A fake wooden foot does not penetrate the soil to any depth in fact far less than an ordinary foot, does not have splayed toes that change with every step, does not have dermal ridges or show any indication of a midtarsal break just to name a few.

Of course if you were well schooled, which you are not, you could have save yourself a bit of time and showing your ignorance of track casts, and past history that is well documented as opposed to an off the cuff remark that makes you feel good.

The only thing that got ate for lunch was the story told about Ray Wallace by his family and some in his family did say it was nonsense, and as for common sense I urge you to make a desperate attempt to find some.

      Chuck

  8. Bigfooters have not made a film as believable by other Bigfooters. To the vast majority of people it is not believable at all. For people like me that pull the veil back on it and see the obvious indicators of hoaxing, it is absurd and looks like a bean bag with fur. One guy who was a minor suit guy player thought it looks real. He thought that since 2001. Others like Wallace, Lagndon, Baker, Winston and other thinks it looks like a bad suit.

The reason the film is believable is because it has become an icon that Bigfooters are afraid to scrutinize. They wouldn't treat Patterson and Gimlin the way they treated Whitton and Dyer because the men had already been accepted and avoided real scrutiny. The man who is alive today, Gimlin, will come out swinging at massacre talk, but he will not do anything substantial to counter the accusation of his old friend, who was involved with Patterson, and whose horse he admits he was riding. When he admits it, he totally contradicts himself why the horse was there in a way that is irreconcilable with his statemnts about it before and since.

This film has hoax written all over it.
