Bigfoot Spotted In Salt Fork

Salt Fork State Park in Ohio is famous for bigfoot, and recently a bigfoot type creature was reportedly spotted there.


It was just a leisurely walk in the woods — one they’ve done many times — but this time was different. This time, they spotted something that they’d never forget. It was Jan. 12 when two local men found themselves staring at what resembled Bigfoot or Sasquatch in Salt Fork State Park. “Should we even be here,” said Eric (last name withheld for privacy), one of the men believed to have witnessed Bigfoot at Salt For State Park last month. The figure had the characteristics of Bigfoot — hairy, upright-walking, ape-like creature that dwells in the wilderness and leaves footprints. Depictions often portray them as a missing link between humans and human ancestors or other great apes. Folklorists trace the figure of Bigfoot to a combination of factors and sources, including folklore surrounding the European wild man figure, folk belief among Native Americans and loggers, and a cultural increase in environmental concerns.

    If you go to the YouTube video, just about every comment describes this Salt Fork clip as a BS hoax. If you watch the actual footage, you can easily tell that the whole thing is BS.

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
