And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". I'm always suspicious when the comments have been disabled for the YouTube video shown. Seems to me that rational explanations may have been posted but the uploader of the video wants it to remain mysterious.

ReplyDeleteIf this is a hoax, why would Patterson have the guy in the suit look back at the camera? That would be risky, as it would more likely give away the creature as a hoax. It does turn as a gorilla would, turning its entire body.
ReplyDeletePatterson used a 1950s Topstone Caveman mask for the basis of the face on his bigfoot (look it up). If the turn around and looking at the camera looked like a hoax, Patterson wouldn't have peddled the film. He could have re-shot it until it looked convincing.
