If you're into bigfoot, in Iowa, and hungry, you should check out this place called Bigfoot Bacon and Brew. It's a bigfoot themed restaurant and pub.

Have you ever gone out looking for Bigfoot in Iowa? Plenty of people have stories of seeing the monster (which is a bit of a harsh term!) on camping or canoe trips throughout the Hawkeye State. Growing up, everyone knew the neighbor with the blurry pictures of a figure in the woods that had to be a Bigfoot – after all, there was no other explanation!

Luckily, now we don’t have to spend hours tracking footprints in the woods if we want to find the real bigfoot. Like many of us, he got a little sick of being in the elements all the time! Rather than stay out in the cold all winter, Grover the Bigfoot opened his own restaurant and bar just outside of Des Moines. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
