Independence Day Bigfoot Video Debunked?
A bigfoot enthusiast believes they have figured out the truth behind the famous Independence day bigfoot video. Check it out:

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns". This was at Cabelas, correct? I actually spoke to him about it. He said you made him nervous, so to be polite and to speed the introduction up, he took your hair so you would leave. I asked if he looked at the hair, he said he did in fact look at it, and just by eye sight alone, knew it was not a valid sample, and had not been collected properly.

DeleteThe alleged Bigfoot in the video certainly has a peculiar way for holding her baby. In the case of apes, the infant actually hangs on to the mother. A human mother would either cradle the child in both arms or with one arm over the shoulder. In this case, the baby looks stiff and is being held out away from the mother with one arm. It looks more like someone carrying a doll than a mother carrying a child.
ReplyDeleteAnd what do you make of the baby Sasquatch moving? I think this footage is legit. The mother is aware of the people in the area, runs to get her baby and remove it from harms way, watching and keeping her eyes on the humans the entire time. I highly doubt this is fake and for this guy to easily "debunk" it as CGI is pretty stupid. The average person wouldn't have the ability, time or money to make something with CGI to this caliber.

DeleteYeah, there are several things that bother me about this video. At 38 seconds into this video You can clearly see it's a costume at the tops of the legs and at the shoulders. It isn't a form fitted suit. Also, the video starts right at the rock where the Bigfoot appears, the scene is perfectly set up.
