Joe Parkhurst posted this video of two possible bigfoot he captured on a FLIR equipped camera. Whatever the objects are in the video, they are way larger than local wildlife or humans.
Recently I've watched the folly as researcher after researcher purchased FLIRs, many of them with viewer funding. I have some experience with military grade FLIRs and knew that you could never positively identify anything from infrared imagery. All a FLIR can do is let you know that something is there and where it is which is sufficient for the military to kill it but insufficient for any serious research. It is a distraction and it is going to cost the bigfoot community time and wasted assets.
I don't quite understand why researchers don't use the money to upgrade their traditional optical equipment instead. If they understood the technology they would know that newer 4K cameras can shoot video that can be undersampled to 1080p but isn't subject to the 4:2:0 chroma undersampling all current consumer (and many professional) grade cameras produce. The newer cameras can give you true 4:4:4 YCrCb color data which gives amazingly clear 1080p video. Basically I'm saying you need a 4K camera even if your whole setup is 1080p. Most researchers haven't a clue what I just said and it is but a single technical issue to be comprehended if you are going to produce research-grade Bigfoot videos.
Instead of developing their understanding of all of the gear they employ they con their views out of thousands of dollars and blindly buy a FLIR and then we all get to watch as they slowly and painfully realize that it is not going to produce data that is useful for research. Quite a few of those FLIRS will end up on ebay after about a year of sitting on the shelf.
Eventually somebody is going to lash a 4K webcam to a telescope and a laptop and these creatures are going to be outed right and proper.
Those images can't be anything else but two creatures lying in wait for prey to come by. I would have gotten out of the car and tried to approach the figures . Who knows what would have happened . They may get up and we'd see more of their lower bodies
Kittalia A. sent us the following questions about Patty, the Bigfoot in the Patterson-Gimlin film. They are all very good questions that we we wish we knew the answers to. We're no "Henry May" and it's times like this that we wish we had his number. Since we don't have Henry around whenever we need him, here are some easy questions for all you Patterson-Gimlin believers to try and answer:
Thanks to Matt Moneymaker for sharing this story with us from a guy named Thomas S. who was camping with some friends near the French Meadows Reservoir in August 2012. This remote, forested basin is located on the American River approximately 58 miles east of Auburn in the Sierra Nevada's. Before his encounter, the man thought Bigfoot "was just for entertainment purposes", but he changed his tune when he ended up with messy drawers that night. "That will teach to goof on our show," says Matt.
Uh Oh. Here we go again, folks. M.K. Davis originally brought up this theory called the "Bluff Creek massacre" theory back in 2008 at a conference. The controversial theory was immediately rejected by the Bigfoot community and Davis was shunned from ever speaking about it again. According to Davis, based on his expert film analysis and color enhancements of frame 352 of the PG film, he theorizes that the Patterson party had been to the Bluff Creek site at least once before returning to capture their famous Bigfoot video. His theory also suggests that the party probably murdered a family of Bigfoots and buried their bodies. Davis points to an enhanced anomaly resembling a bloody dog print and a pool of blood as proof of his theory.
Well that was absolutely worthless.

DeleteSince you want things done your way, GO DO IT, instead of telling others what to do while you sit on your a$$ criticizing.
^Another jackass who bought a FLIR and now can't pay the rent lol.
Delete^ Wrong. I'm not even a footer. Just a person with an interest in the subject. But you're still a know it all jackas$ sitting on his as$ criticizing.
