Week Long Bigfoot Event Coming To Destination America
The Mountain Monsters team is in Pennsylvania, chasing after a family of bigfoot known as the Thunder Brothers. Destination America is cashing in on the event, with a full week of primetime bigfoot themed programming lined up as we approach Valentine's Day.
Down a man after Trapper has a near brush with death, the rest of the AIMS team heads north to Blair County, PA after a Bigfoot known as the Lightning Man who legend says runs with a clan of seven other Bigfoot known as the Thunder Brothers. These massive creatures are known to strike in the darkness and then suddenly vanish. After meeting with locals who have seen this mysterious Bigfoot the team believes that the key to this whole investigation may be hidden inside of a secluded barn has mysteriously been marked with an ancient Native American symbol for lightning.
Bigfoot fans should also look forward to an upcoming week of chasing the mysterious creature, beginning Monday, February 8 and ending Saturday, February 13, with an all-new episode of MOUNTAIN MONSTERS! According to Destination America:
This V-Day, Destination America looks into the lonely life of America’s biggest heartbreaker with BIGFOOT: THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY, a week-long primetime event of squatch-themed programming airing Monday, February 8 to Thursday, February 11. Then top off the week with an all-new episode of MOUNTAIN MONSTERS: BIGFOOT EDITION on Saturday, February 13 at 10/9c. The Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings’ passionate search for Sasquatch brings them to Pennsylvania, where locals have reported sighting a band of Bigfoots called the Thunder Brothers.
Stay tuned tonight for an all-new Bigfoot chase–and a new nest discovery? And, schedule your time wisely for next week’s week-long parade of Bigfoot sightings and stories.
MOUNTAIN MONSTERS airs on Destination America on Saturday nights at 10/9c.

DeleteI think you're either too stupid to come up with what is allegedly so obvious, or what's allegedly so obvious really isn't all that obvious after all.
DeleteTrapper still on the mend and the AIMS team is still on the hunt, Bigfoot just might evade capture this time until Trapper rejoins the AIMS team to hunt that BIGFOOT

That last thread was funny Iktomi. You gave that troll quite a meltdown. And then he claims that broadcast network television produdes a bad suit on purpose as a joke. LoL! "What's the cost Joe? What's the cost? What's the cost Joe?" HAHAHAHA good times! I think you ruined his day Iktomi.

DeleteShribes just blew joe the f#ck out!!!!! Anonyomusly blew joe the f#ck out!!!! Dmaker blew joe the f#ck out!!!! Joe got absolutely destroyed today. This is the best day of my life!!!!! It destroyed him so badly that he is using the tactic he always does when he gets his a## handed to him. And of course, that tactic is taking the beating he got, no matter how bad, and blaiming it on someone else. for instance, when he lost the bet, he now tries to bother daniel by saying "hows the bet going". I don't know if in his mind he actually believes these things, or if that is his only defense, to flip truths. ITs hard to say, but one thing for sure, you can tell when joetomi is scarred by when he uses this tactic. Notice that joeholi is now saying "where is the guy talking about the million dollar man suit". Same thing. he got manhandles so hard today that he has regressed to his favorite tactic. No doubt we will be enjoying this for manny months now. Joe will randomly be asking the question about the bigfoot suit in an attempt to get conversation. joes psychology is truly interesting to observe. This is the best day of my life!!!! YES YES YES
DeleteUm... If you didn't read... The average budget for a Bionic Man episode in the 70's amounts to almost $2.5M of today's money. Do you think Roger Patterson had that type of dosh? And... I never did get those "obvious costume anomalies" pointed out.
Delete: (
Do you know how much time and money they actually spent on it?
DeleteJoe, how much per episode was spent on actor salaries, location costs, advertising, non talent salaries, effects, etc?
Deletejoe couldnt' even find the dollar amount himself dmaker. NC had to come in and tell joe the cost of producing an episode. Joe then apparently went to a website (authenticity questionable) that converts past to present currency values. But it still doesnt even come close to the arguement that was presented earlier today by a troll. that bigfoot costume was horrible and yet joe claimed that it competes with star wars and planet of the apes special effects. Yet he could not and still cant come up with what the suit cost. that production cost may have gone 80 percent into the chief actors pockets. 3 bucks may have gone into the bigfoot suit. joerg has no idea, he is just throwing around facts. his meltdown was so bad today he just cant get past it. ahhh ahahhahahaha
DeleteWe are talking about a series that went into slo-mo and played cheesy sound effects for the "bionic" actions of the main character.
DeleteGo to youtube if you need refreshing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SZMn_711s4
And where the hell is MMG when we need him?
DeleteThe premise of your argument is that a bankrupt cowboy who couldn't even afford a camera, had more money and technology available to him than a broadcast network television show produced by ABC with an annual budget over ten million dollars? Time to put down the crack pipe bud.
DeleteDon... Sorry, that's almost $2.5M per episode, however way you try and repackage that as somehow detrimental to my argument, doesn't wash.
Delete2:29... You are the site's village idiot, and I realise how low I stoop in responding to you, but I'm going to remind you of what actually happened today. The costume in the Bionic Man is terrible. This is something that came about first by my premise, and I insisted this all along, yet this is not a patch on what we see in the Patterson Gimlin footage that occurred years before that didn't have the budget. If you think the conversion to today's dollars is "questionable" why don't you put on your big boy pants, stop waiting for Dmaker to give you your next argument, and demonstrate otherwise? I never claimed that the Bionic Man costume had in any way competed with any of the drab examples of costume you can come up with, but stated that Chewie does not enjoy any muscle tone due to long hair, and the Planet of the Apes costumes revolve around actually leather clothing... And are NOTHING on what we see in the PGF. You want costs on the actual amount on the costume that are impossible to attain, like some pathetic little strawman because you know that your argument has been taken apart with a beautiful quote attained by good old NC. Almost $2.5M an episode in today's money... Schooled.
2:42... Yeah, we're talking the 1970's didn't ya know?
2:47... It's it just incredible? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!
What's the matter 2:42? You need all the help you can get? Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!
DeleteYou were talking out of your ass. Your assumption is that the Bigfoot costume from SMDM represents a high standard. Perhaps it's terrible not only because it is the 70's, but also because the production company didn't put much effort and expense into it. TV production companies seldom have Spielberg budgets.
DeleteI smell smoke. Did someone just get burned?
DeleteNope! If you actually could read properly, my assertion still is that the costume in the Bionic Man is the best Hollywood could accomplish in the late 70's... Ten years after the PGF was made, and it's not a patch on what we see in the PGF.
Delete"the production company didn't put much effort and expense into it."
... Shall we have a look at special pleading? Let's...
"Special pleading is a form of fallacious argument that involves an attempt to cite something as an exception to a generally accepted rule, principle, etc. without justifying the exception."
Oops! TV production companies seldom have Spielberg budgets... But Bionic Man had what amounts to $2.5M in today's money for production. Don't like it? Stop special pleading and bring the goods, cause you just look like a whiny little b*tch that's running out of excuses.
: )
And you know they "didn't put much effort and expense into it", because you where there right? We have to make sure it looks crappy because it's the leading star adversary of the show and we definitely don't want to sell any of the toys we just produced. Being from the 70's is the whole point you dizzy muppet.
DeleteHe hasn't been able to grasp that comment all day 3:30. Hundreds of comments later he still fails to grasp it. Yet this horrible costume Joe touts as special effects mastery of the day. he knows how stupid this sounds, but he never thought that he would be questioned on it. Every single person that commented today told him how bad he was making himself look. Yet instead of back out and admit to being caught in BS, he has dug his hole deeper. its obvious to anyone that that suit was cheap as hell to produce. Yet joe fails to grasp it. He takes bits of information, not even knowing if they are true, and then twists them and touts them as fact. But lately the trolls have been calling him out on his BS. Today has been an epic lesson of what happens when joe tries to force lies on others. It has been amusing to say the least
DeleteHa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delete3:46... Almost $2.5M in today's money? Stop special pleading and show me the proof that a Hollywood production company didn't want to make the costume look good. You're an embarrassment... Nobody in their right minds would pay you the time of day I have.
DeleteYou're the joke... A very, very funny one... And where's the obvious Patty anomalies?????
there are only a few out there who can see that little to no effort was put into that costume. And those few people are anyone with eyes. Joe has made himself look beyond ignorant today. No one should ever question if Joe is intelligent or has any valid arguement from now on. As he is stating that the bigfoot suit is the best special effects out there at that time. At this point trolls, its best to just leave it alone. He knows how bad he got destroyed, but as usual, he blames his failures on others. He somehow is touting a victory for himself. WE have done our job. Everyone has seen this train wreck and its been pretty epic. I wish daniel would show up and see this epic meltdown. I mean what can you say? Today you have sunk down to DS's level of trolling/stupidity/crazyness Joe. Congrats
Delete"If you actually could read properly, my assertion still is that the costume in the Bionic Man is the best Hollywood could accomplish in the late 70's"
DeleteHoly sh*t Iktomi, don't big budget movies have big budgets? So the tv production company with a budget comparable to $2.5 million was the apex of costume techniques of Hollywood. You are high.
No... That's actually what 1970's Hollywood could conjure for the day. It's beautiful to read you falling more and more into confirming my premise for me. You persistently required some level of budget; you got it... And the best you've got is special pleading that a Hollywood production company, who won many awards for the show, "didn't try to make it look good". That's the joke of the day.
DeleteAlmost $2.5M in today's money? Stop special pleading and show me the proof that a Hollywood production company didn't want to make the costume look good. You're an embarrassment... Nobody in their right minds would pay you the time of day I have. And I can't remember how many times I've requested this today... But here it goes... WHERE ARE THE OBVIOUS SUIT ANOMOLIES IN PATTY, YOU COWARD???? You see... The Bionic suit to you, is obviously a costume and you have have pointed out suit anomolies. If Patty is an obvious costume, where are the suit anomalies??
You lose... Now shut up and go away.
You're going to make Winky cry again.
DeleteNo special pleading is your contention that Bigfoot can avoid game cameras. Good Lord you are an idiot.
Deletetake note fellow trolls. Note joes classic behavior when he has been embarassed and trying desperately to save face. He is trying to change the subject by talkign about patty anomolies, that dont ahve anything to do with the topic at hand. We all saw what happened today and just how bad joe looked. we have all seen how horridly he has taken this and i dont see how he is not ashamed at this point. Its gone beyond a standard beating, this is just getting gory. And yet joe still is trying to make it out to be some sort of victory. I dont known if he reall doesnt believe just how bad he looks in all of this or not. I have never seen him like this. The ignorance of his position and the shear stupidity it takes to stand proud in his lunacy is pretty shocking. what kind of special person do you have to be to believe that horrid costume was the best fx at the time. I feel bad for the new viewers who might see joes comments. as its crazyness like joe has spouted today that makes the idea of bigfoot seem all the more crazy. I just dont know what to say joe. i have few words for it. This goes beyond a meltdown, you have plunged into lunacy. I just dont think you see how horrible you look and have looked all day. I am being serious, i have never seen you look worse.

If that was what Hollywood could accomplish ten years after the PGF, what does that say about a broke cowboy allegedly making Patty? Remember... Patty is an "obvious costume" according to you.
You ran out of chances comments ago... Now I'm just enjoying rubbing your faces in it.

DeleteIt no more proves anything than your buddy DS's blurry photos. Even if you could "prove" it, "not a bear" does not mean Bigfoot.
DeleteYou are hopeless.
It really is very interesting to watch Joseph's psychology at work. Throughout all of the comments Joe has made about how psychotic the trolls are, etc, its evidence like we have seen today that show us all what type of person we are dealing with in regards to Joe. I now would never put anything past this individual. Joe you really do have a mental deficiency. I don't know what it is, but you are some kind of messed up. DeleteI would be trying my best to forget about today, if I were you. Three other people with the same special pleading doesn't equate to you looking very good.

DeleteGot proof of Bionic Man trying to make a bad suit? Got obvious Patty suit anomalies?
DeleteYou lose.
good boy, good boy, would you like a pat on the head or a sucker?
DeleteJust remember... You thought you were clever.
DeletePatty anomalies is a different issue. I just think it's incredible that you think Andre the giant Bigfoot was the best Hollywood could do.
DeleteNo... The whole purpose of bringing up the Bionic Man Bigfoot was to show how unrealistic an alleged costume Patty was for even Hollywood ten years later.
DeleteYou really are this dense aren't you? Stop special pleading and get me the proof that the Bionic Man producers tried making a bad costume, ha ha ha ha ha ha!!
I don't think anyone said they tried to make a bad costume. The issue was how much effort and resources were put into it. Can you prove that it was the best they could do?
Delete**** me, you'll even LIE with the overwhelming comments that attest to the contary. What you "think" really isn't important when that's your "version" of events.
DeleteAnd yes, I can pretty much and did so with the budget that accounted for almost $2.5M of today's money for every episode. Considering you appear to have the literary skills of a mouse, I'll also draw your attention to a moment of the previous comment section where I sourced a modern Hollywood film with modern SFX materials and even CGI, that still didn't come close to the muscle time in the PGF... Effectively blowing what futile arguments any of your trolls had left.
* muscle tone
DeleteI wish you could see how you look right now to everyone Joe. I really do. I feel sorry for you sir. I can see why dmaker and daniel don't give you the time of day anymore.
DeleteCan you believe he has been here for this long? He's still going away at it.
DeleteIt appears you didn't validate your source Joe. And it appears that NC was selective in what quotes he chose from the book he chose to quote from "The Bionic Book Reconstructed". The copy of the book you can find at the below link will not allow me to copy a section of it to show you, but if you simply search the book for the term "budget" i think your arguments get blown out of the water Joe. As it clearly states that the budget you speak of was spent almost before they had it, and that many of the stunts and effects were done with "very little time and money". In fact Joe, a simple search of wikipedia reveals that in one episode of the 500,000 dollar per episode bionic man, the billion dollar man is supposed to be wrestling with an alligator. But instead wrestled with a cheap wood carving.
DeleteAs usual Joe, you simply take opinions, facts, or sometimes even lies and run with them. you don't fact check at all. NC cherry picked one line out of a book and you ran with it. Not bothering to find out where it came from, and what else was in the book. Here is the link to that book. Consider yourself schooled as it blows your "state of the arts, high dollar special effect theory" out of the water. Say bye bye joe. ONce again, blow the f#ck out!!!! AHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA
https://books.google.com/books?id=RYJKCgAAQBAJ&pg=PT145&lpg=PT145&dq=six+million+dollar+man+budget&source=bl&ots=tsBM_6n8zU&sig=_GdhZtigMmZR7NKxxaw3qMgOhcY&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi2pOzpx-nKAhVjmIMKHbfFAgMQ6AEIRDAH#v=onepage&q=six%20million%20dollar%20man%20budget&f=false
A show has a particular budget and Iktomi magically knows that it qualifies it as having first rate special effects.
DeleteGuys and GALS PLEASE READ:
DeleteJOE YOU ARE ABOUT TO GET BLOWN THE F#CK OUT LIKE NEVER BEFORE. I DID A LITTLE MORE READING IN THAT BOOK AND LOOK WHAT IT SAYS THAT NC NEGLECTED TO SEE OR TELL YOU. THIS DESTROYS YOU JOE. NOW TRY AND SAY SOMETHING: YOU HAVE BEEN SCHOOLED LITTLE BOY. HAVE A COLLECTIVE LAUGH ON JOE EVERYONE!!!!!!
This a quote i am retyping from the book i mentioned above, the same one that NC got his quote from and the same book that give the figure Joe is going on about. Please account for your statements now Joe. :)
"Six cost approximately 500,00 an episode and later, the bionic woman expenditures totaled approximately 600,000 a segment. That may sound like alot of money", Johnson relays, "until you take into account all the various expenses that we had. There was just never enough for (acting) extras or set construction. We were doing very complicated special effects, which were hard to do wtih the kind of money we were given".
pay attention here Joe. Kiss your butt goobye Joe.
"The shows were incredibly low budget", continues Johnson who remembered walking the backlot at universal looking for a standing set. "
AHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA
BTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@5:55, Thanks for taking the time to look that up and write the post. I think that just proves the point beautifully.
DeleteThis keeps getting better and better.
DeleteSo what do you have to say for yourself now Joe, and even NC? How dare you cherry pick that kind of statement NC. But the blame falls on Joe. So now your best argument of the day has been destroyed Joe. You look like even more of a fool, as if that was even possible.
DeleteJoe just got blown the f#ck out. This is insane!!!!
DeleteHe was going on and on how we should forget this post. What a dumbass.
Delete"... But ok soon realise that TV money doesn't go so far..." Is that proof over a period of a big budget series that the Bigfoot costume was deliberate attempt at looking bad? It also states that accidents in production set the budgets back... But nothing about about what was spent on various SFX, or whether various area of expedition were top heavy in places.
Delete"We were doing very complicated special effects, which were hard to do wtih the kind of money we were given"... Actually validates my argument. You have a SFX, or in this instance a costume that had Hollywood manufacturing.
Unlucky kid! You have Hollywood costume that isn't a pinch on Patty! Stop special pleading and get me the proof that the Bionic Man producers tried making a bad costume, ha ha ha ha ha ha!!
give it up joe. just give it up. You just got destroyed
DeleteHe's trying to spin it until the bitter end. Nobody is talking about Patty.
DeleteNobody "tried making a bad costume" idiot.
This is precisely why anyone who knows you won't "debate".
DeleteDid I? I didn't see any evidence that the producers deliberately made a bad Bigfoot costume, or how much was spent on the costume? Remember... Weren't these your requirements on the previous comment section?
DeleteStop special pleading and source evidence that a big budget Hollywood production that's won awards tried to make a bad costume. You have all that money stretched over a production series, like Dmaker stated up top... There is any one of a number of scenarios to which money was allocated to various avenues of production.
I still don't see proof that they tried making a bad costume...
: )
And here is what they had to do to cover up certain flaws in the costume, even with Chewbacca:
Deletehttp://www.isu.edu/rhi/pdf/Keith_rev.pdf
Aaaaaaaaargh but let's not digress kids! Your premise is that the Bionic Man Bigfoot costume is bad because they didn't attempt to make it good... Where is the money quoted as to how much was spent on it? Where is the evidence that producers favoured other avenues of expenditure over that costume, in that particular episode? This was the most popular episode of the series remember.
DeleteStop special pleading and get to the point... And a Hollywood costume with SFX artists on ANY budget still looks nowhere near as good as what a broke cowboy was meant to manufacture.
: )
Great source NC, I don't know why I didn't think of using that.
DeleteYou are a dishonest scumbag. You are like a politician who gets caught with pants down around his ankles and still denies.
DeleteNope! You need to go back and check what was put forward by none other than you, dear boy. It's not so much me being a politician as it is you have a poor memory... And fundamentally, your quote merely confirms how much money was spent over the course of a series.
DeleteLess special pleading, more substance. I'm only requiring what you put forward as a claim.
Anyways! I really have been here quite a long time, so I'm retiring for the night! You take care now, Bionic Pleaders! Remember, don't make claims you can't support, and always keep the train of a comment section... It prevents you placing your efforts in futile places.

Notice that as Joe takes his beating from dmaker, that Joe is not calling dmaker names or putting him down like he typically does. I think me and dmaker both know why... Joe is desperate for someone to come on this site and debate him about bigfoot. Since daniel and dmaker hardly ever post anymore, it has been joe and his group of freaks making a few comments everday. The rest are all troll comments, and Joe hates it. He wants someone to show up so that he can make long copy and paste comments too. It makes him feel intelligent and wanted. Dmaker, i suggest that you don't engage in any more debate with Joe whatsoever. He wants this and craves it. Instead, please hit him with Joerg jokes, abholi jokes, and maybe a little racism."
