Survivorman Hits Us With 6 New Bigfoot Episodes
Survivorman Les Stroud is back with 6 all new episodes where he's trying to get the proof that bigfoot exists. According to the press release, there are some interesting things in store for us.
Does Bigfoot exist? In April, Survivorman(http://lesstroud.ca/survivorman) Les Stroud will attempt to answer that question, as he kicks off six special episodes searching for the ever-elusive Bigfoot. In the process, the star of the hit TV series “Survivorman” (OLN Canada (http://www.oln.ca/), The Science Channel U.S., Discovery Channel International), who is the only producer in the history of television to carry out an internationally broadcast series entirely written, videotaped and hosted alone, puts his reputation on the line to prove or disprove the existence of this seemingly mythical creature.
Beginning April 1, the hunt for the Sasquatch, also known as Gigantopithecus, takes place on Discovery Channel Wednesdays at 9/8 Central and on The Science Channel on April 3 at 10/9 Central. Stroud will search the wilderness for evidence of the enormous primate-like creature, which may or may not have become extinct after the last Ice Age. “To be clear, I am not a Bigfoot enthusiast,” says Stroud. “I’m an enthusiast of the environment. And I’ve had mysterious experiences over the years that I have no ability to explain. It’s time to separate fact from fiction. Is Bigfoot truth, or hoax? I plan on doing everything in my power to find an answer.”
Here’s what to expect in some of the upcoming episodes:
“Klemtu.” Stroud searches Klemtu, a wilderness-heavy Indian reserve on the fjord-filled coast of British Columbia. Here, sightings by residents date back generations, especially on Klemtu Hill, an old volcano that’s considered a sacred area. Stroud knows that this 900-pound creature must leave a trail, and he goes in search of it. What he finds is an enormous territory where a large animal could exist, undisturbed, for unknown periods of time. Airs Wednesday, April 1 on Discovery Channel at 9/8 Central and on The Science Channel on Friday, April 3 at 10/9 Central
“Alberta Foothills.” Evidence of Sasquatch activity has been found in rural Alberta. Stroud, who knows the Canadian wild better than almost anyone, is able to approach the territory with a skeptic’s eye, determining what traces could be real and what could be attributed to other activity. Relying on stealth camera equipment, along with infrared trail cams and thermal imaging, he seeks to go straight to the source and discover the creature—or other force—that’s been baffling scientists for generations. Airs Wednesday, April 8 on Discovery Channel at 9/8 Central and on The Science Channel on Friday, April 10 at 10/9 Central
“Hoopa.” With nearly a lifetime of tracking experience, Stroud may be able to find traces of Bigfoot in the land of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Surrounded by ancient red cedar forests in northwest California, it’s easy to get lost in the giant shadows, which hide dense black bear territory. Here, Stroud is determined to get irrefutable proof of Bigfoot by catching the creature on film. But first, he must learn about the area. Stroud spends time getting to know the locals and hears tales of sightings over the years, before offering himself to the wilderness, seeking to make the connection of a lifetime. Airs Wednesday, April 15 on Discovery Channel at 9/8 Central and on The Science Channel on Friday, April 17 at 10/9 Central
“Mountain.” The grizzly bear territory is the most remote and dangerous territory of the Canadian Rockies. Here, audio has been captured during a near-fatal encounter, presumably with the Sasquatch. Stroud sets out to the location of the incident, armed with hidden cameras, pheromone chips, hand bells, chimes and testing kits. His goal: to get DNA proof of Bigfoot. It turns out, he’s got a long night ahead of him, filled with strange noises and giant grizzly footprints. By thinking like an animal, he hopes to make a new discovery. Airs Wednesday, April 22 on Discovery Channel at 9/8 Central and on The Science Channel on Friday, April 24 at 10/9 Central.

So the TROLLS must be drunk tonight! Drink more and do it daily trolls. Much better here without ya! cause you suck.
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS!
DeleteSCRUMTRULESCENT!
DeleteGood luck Les xx
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Eva :) and to all the other Superfriends also!!
DeleteHappy Easter Ruff and everyone else :) xx
DeleteMaybe he's traveling home for Easter to wreck the people's holiday there & can't focus on wrecking people here as well.
ReplyDeleteYea, I hope Les has good luck with his bigfoot endeavors.
Trolls on both sides. Anyone who disagrees with the clueless Superfriends will be remorsely attacked.
ReplyDeleteI knew you would be drawn out to add your 2 cents.
DeleteI subtract .5 cents for his bad grammar. Step it up troll.
Deletehey it's troll uno! ^^^
DeleteOk you just lost the other 1.5 because you are wrong.
DeleteIt takes months to edit all these shows, therefore filming is over. Stroud found nothing.
ReplyDeleteWHAT THE!!!!!!
DeleteSurprise! Les has found nothing!
DeleteWelcome to:
"The Survivorman Bigfoot Saw nothing, found nothing" show.
But we all will be entertained!c ! !
And it will be better than Finding Bigfoot, and Mountain Monsters shows.
While Les has a lot of surviror experience, he has NONE for finding Bigfoots. Todd Standing was his mentor, and look what Todd has become.
It's all about entertainment. It will ALWAYS be about entertainment. As such the search will go on and on and on and on . . . . . . .
DeleteWhat has Todd Standing become? (Aside from us talking about him on the internet, his pictures being used in a worldwide aired television show mini-series, his evidence and techniques being used by him personally as he stars on the prior Survivorman shows). What has happened to him?
DeleteHe's home, with his sister, making puppets.
Deleteif Obama can BS an entire nation, then Todd (or anybody) can do it to!
While I respect Les Stroud, and he knows his survivor stuff, I don't think he is a hunter.
ReplyDeleteSomeone with many years of hunting experience is definitely needed
Yeah, that's gotta be it. LOL
DeleteLet's all chip in and buy Les a .338 Lapua, so he can collect a specimen. I have faith in Les!!
ReplyDeleteJustin's rifle did not even draw blood. How do you expect a Lapua or even Bob Strain's elephant gun to do the trick? All the Bigfoot needs is about 1/2 second of advance warning that you are going to pull the trigger, and they start their fade into another dimension. Then they just rematerialize behind you and rip your heart out through your asshole. Just sayin.
DeleteI had to watch again last night on Science channel after struggling going in and out of sleep on Wednesday and glad I did. Truly a well produced show. Must have been 2 dozen accounts from the Klemtu Nation members, little snipets thrown in. Like Les said these people flat out know there are here, just a matter of fact and the accounts must number in the hundreds if not thousands around this area.
ReplyDeleteThe five toes Les found in the sand with not a very deep impression and small in size could be a young juvenille. Could it be the parent(s) sent in the youngster to grab the apples knowing they would not make a deep impression?
It was a shame Les was saving his audio batteries when the tree or rock was thrown. Could clearly see Les was visably shaken up as he stated. Had he been with just one camera man this might have been picked up, of course Les' nature is to go it alone and this will slow him down considerably.
The act of Les showing himself and canoeing during the day will be of benefit in the future by doing similar activities and showing no gun. The lone act of throwing that tree or huge rock could have been a signal from them saying we are here indeed. To bad he did not stay for more than 3 days. It takes time to build up some trust even though that will be limited.
All in all he is going about it the right way and seems has has been in contact with some fairly astute teachers.
Chuck
I agree Chuck.
DeleteWas definitely worth watching.
Have a Happy Easter.
Mike H.
It was a tree being pushed over. TV mics generally can't pick up sounds that occur over 20 feet away, because they use voice mics.
DeleteIf a tree falls on Television, can anybody hear it?
DeleteGood recap Chuck.
Delete"Beginning April 1, the hunt for the Sasquatch, also known as Gigantopithecus".... Gigantopithecus?? SAYS WHO? Let's just find one first before we randomly classify it as a relic ape.
ReplyDeleteSurvivorman show has found out how to jump on a money making bandwagon with shows about the ever popular and elusive, never seen bigfoot.
