Another Interesting Theory About Bigfoots

Are Bigfoots hiding underground? We've heard this before from a habituator. It sounds like this theory is more prevalent than we originally thought. It's possible that Bigfoots are living in deep caves and go into hiding when they sense danger. One BFE reader explains this theory in detail:

I was thinking about how many went under ground maybe 10000 years ago cause of meteor or water or both. It dawned on me to think if a man possible did go under ground for a period perhaps it would grow more hair. It would technically become bigger mass cause of all the digging. These creatures are finding ways to come back out of the earth to maybe find food. This would be a good reason why alot of down time in between sightings. I believe their are really not as many as some would believe, Because they move at such a fast pace on ground. Can I get a amen. I am studying them and trying to figure out their real Identity. Ahoo matakeya

Does anyone know what "Ahoo matakeya" means?

    2. Odd logic. He says meteors or water could drive people underground, and while there they would grow hair and become bigger from digging. None of this has any kind of scientific basis, nor does it sound logical.

Although a large number of Native American legends claim they live underground, and even hide the entrances where you can never find them.

    4. In the 1800's there was a belief that if people lived wild (feral) in the wilderness they would grow hair all over their bodies like wild animals. Of course we know that is medically impossible, but many of the old bigfoot sightings called them "Wildmen."

Here's a story of men on horse back chasing down and lassoing what they believed was a wild boy.

Here another story of a boy captured that they assumed had been raised wild by wolves in 1889.

Feral children happen. They don't grow hair, develop saggital crests, bioluminescent eyes, etc

    6. Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico - a massive 14 acre space filled with unusual calcium-carbonate cave formations. More underground rooms go beyond, for more than 30 miles, and those are the ones that have been explored. The deepest chamber is 1,027 feet below the surface.

Mammoth Cave, Kentucky - the Mammoth Cave is the world's longest-known cave system with over 285 miles of surveyed cave passageways.

Caverns of Sonora, Texas - 150 ft. deep and 20,000 ft. long.

Luray Caverns, Virginia - has cathedral-sized rooms with 10-story-high ceilings filled with towering stone columns formed over millions of years ago by underground rivers and acid-bearing water cutting through the limestone and clay.

Niagara Cave, Minnesota - gets its name because the 60 ft. waterfall inside the cave coined by early explorers. An echo chamber a 20-ft.-tall limestone island called the Battleship. But best of all, there is a wedding chapel inside the cave, which has seen over 400 wedding ceremonies performed.

Ellison’s Cave, Georgia - located in the Northwest Georgia, is notable for its breathtaking depth of 1,063 feet and length of 64,030 feet. Ellison's is the 12th deepest cave in the U.S., but has two of deepest cave drops in the continental U.S. "Fantastic," drops 586 feet --big enough to hold the Washington Monument, and "Incredible," drops 440 feet.

Jewel Cave, South Dakota - with just over 157 miles of navigated passageways, Jewel Cave is the third longest known cave system in the world, after Mammoth Cave in Kentucky and Sistema Sac Actun in Mexico.

Meramec Caverns, Missouri - is a 4.6-mile cavern system in the Ozarks that was famously once a hide out of outlaw Jessie James. It’s also the most largest cave in Missouri, in a state filled with some 6,000 caves.

... Though I do not adhere to the theories posed in this article, I do think that there COULD be something to Sasquatch utilising underground cave systems in some instances. How many more underground cave systems are out there that we do not know of??

My point is that such underground systems exist and there could be many more to which a creature would have the room to reside, evade. Stop trying so hard... You seem to have an unhealthy obsessions with this "Joe" chap too, he must have got the better of you on a number of occasions.

There are many cases of feral children being found with thin layers of hair, go take a looksy... Especially the case of John Ssebunya.

It's of no valid point, just like me pointing out that oxygen is in the air, therefore Sasquatches breathe air, so they could be anywhere.

Its Hawaiian for "I have no concept of english grammar." It can also be loosely translated as "I can't grasp the fact that there is no such thing as a sasquatch so I need to come up with an excuse on why they can't be found."

PURE speculation and has zero basis in reality. Why aren't prairie dogs the size of Dire wolves? And evolution has proven that, those animals that do adapt to life underground, usually LOSE their hair/fur. In addition, their sizes tend to decrease. What a complete load of horse****.
