Something In The Woods Official Poster Is Here!

David Gibson and David D. Ford released their unofficial trailer for Something In The Woods back in August. It now looks like the film is just about ready and it's coming next year. It's inspired by "true events" so it's gotta be good, right? Here's the trailer if you haven't seen it:

  2. I was watching a documentary about lost tribes in the amazon. I was amazed how similar these tribes behave to Bigfoot reports. They bend branches to mark trails, whoop and howl to communicate in the jungle, and you would never know they were three yards away from you in thick jungle.

      The actor is wearing false feet of course, much larger then his own feet, also obviously.

      His foot is shorter than the fake foot; his foot and toes stop far short of the length of the false foot. When the actor squats with one foot on the rock, what 10:07 is saying shows a mid-tarsal break, is instead where the actor's toes are. The actor squats, and goes up on toes, as many people do. His toes and ball of his foot are at the supposed mid-tarsal point.

      His own real foot is from this point, backward. From the point of the mid-tarsal forward, is the fake foot, not occupied by the real foot. The real foot stops short at the mid-tarsal point of the fake foot.

      Think of huge clown shoes.

      This is a false alarm and not a check, much less a checkmate. Oddly, the claim was the actor had a mid-tarsal break. It's obvious to see he's wearing fake feet larger than his own feet.

    3. Well if a so called costume expert who has spent a decade looking at a film yet hasn't done the one thing that his expertise calls for then that tells you all you need to know.

  4. Hahaha that 50s film with the monkey suit. Oh boy are the footers trying to sweep that under the rug. I guess they realise how silly they look after stating for years that the materials didn't exist. Hahaha over a decade earlier and we have a monkey suit. The film even has a trackway scene. Oh boy these footers have got egg on their faces.

      (Pfffft)

      No... You have flubbery toes at the end of a costume slipper that makes the actual toes underneath look like a mid tarsal.

      Straws = grasped = hard.

    2. Also... In several places on Patty, groups of muscles in motion can be seen, these are especially seen in the arms, back and legs. One example on Patty is the equivalent of the quadricep muscle which is seen expanding while it absorbs the weight of the subject. Also seen is a structure similar to a knee cap, the shape of which changes like a human knee. This is particularly difficult to manufacture in a costume because of the need for surface conforming material. Surface plasticity in the side torso is seen near frame 352. This requires not only a conforming material, but a material with independent x and y plasticity to avoid detectable material folds.

      We see none of this in the Half-Human costume.
